Welcome! Located in the Chuo Ward, Odori District, when you pass by the Yamagoya family's Oyini, don't be discouraged and turn into the side street. You'll surpass Kin-chan's Niku Oyini and across from the Beast Kitchen, you'll find Ikkyu. In front of a suspicious facade door, it says "We're open♪" The atmosphere of Yagachon Bar is set in a dimly lit but lively place with cheerful girls. Rather than antique, there are Showa-era toys lined up everywhere. While the main business is a bar, you can also have lunch on certain days! The friendly and talkative girls are perfect for the job, with their previous experience in izakayas. The daily specials often include donburi dishes, and today I didn't hesitate to choose between Japanese and Chinese. At night, the daily dishes await, and you can even request them to make tamagoyaki! Customers in their 40s were asking what's in the Chuka-don, maybe they've never tried it before... There was gum in the chopstick holder... a playful toy. They even wound up the music box for me, but the movement was a bit too much for children's eyes... As I was thinking that, the Buta-don set arrived. The bowl itself is nice, very Showa-style♪ The ginger-flavored sliced pork with a sweet and salty seasoning is delicious! The sweetness, followed by a slight spiciness from the thread chili, is a nice touch. The soft onions and generous portion of meat make the dish satisfying. The set also includes a side salad with ponzu dressing, a Wakame and Negi miso soup with a large piece of fu that looks great and sounds crispy, and pickled radish to finish. The older sister who was hiding in the kitchen seems to be talkative as well... People who love this kind of atmosphere must be thrilled. This hidden gem is truly a place for enthusiasts, thank you for the meal♪
