Osteria S Puro / Nishiin 3.07 on Tabelog (July 17, 2023) Went out to eat with my family. A casual and reasonably priced French-Italian restaurant in Kyoto that uses plenty of local vegetables. This time, they had a tomato festival. Amuse-bouche: Tomato, mint, and lemon shaved ice. Appetizer 1: Smoked chicken, hirasu from Akashi, and sawara from Akashi. Appetizer 2: Cherry shrimp and kataifi white fish mousse. Soup: Tomato gazpacho with orange jelly. Pasta: Peach and prosciutto pasta. Fish: Red snapper from Akashi. Meat: Tajima beef steak. Dessert: Peach pasta, a seasonal favorite. We always say "It's delicious!" to each other as a family, and it truly makes us feel happy. The smoked chicken and sawara appetizers were exquisite. The mousse with cherry shrimp and kataifi was also incredibly delicious. Thank you for always providing such delicious meals. We'll definitely be back. It's a precious time being able to have a meal just us parents and kids. The kids are getting busier, so we should make the most of it while we can.

The interior of the restaurant was bright and cozy. The dishes were stylish in appearance, served at just the right timing, and the flavors made them very appetizing. The deer meat was tender and delicious. Both the chef and the staff were warm and provided excellent service, making the dining experience very pleasant. I would definitely want to come back to this restaurant. I forgot to take photos of the dishes and dessert because I couldn't resist eating them right away.

I was invited to a birthday celebration by a friend at a small restaurant. It seems to be run by a couple. The soup was delicious. The appetizers, pasta, main course, and dessert were all delicious. They pay attention to the sauces, which complement the meat perfectly. The dessert was also homemade and very tasty. I will definitely go back again.

I found this restaurant through Tabelog when I was looking for a place to have lunch near Ion Mall Hana. It's a place I often pass by, but I didn't know it existed. The atmosphere was bright and the couple running the place seemed very nice. I ordered the chef's special lunch and the food was delicious, I left feeling very satisfied! Since I often go to Hana, I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I had a dinner course for 6,300 yen at a restaurant located next to the Gojo Aeon Mall, in a quiet neighborhood. The entrance was up a staircase on the second floor. Upon entering, I was led to what seemed like a private room at the back of the restaurant (there was no door). I had wine as a drink, and I usually enjoy trying the house wine of a new restaurant to see their selection. The glass wines offered were a Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, all of which I tried and found to be of high quality. The price was around 750-850 yen per glass. The food was also delicious, with a great presentation. The menu included an amuse-bouche, seasonal appetizer platter, homemade focaccia, pasta with white shrimp, sautéed white fish, sirloin steak from Tanba beef, homemade dessert (cake), and coffee, tea, or espresso. The appetizer platter featured vegetables from Kameoka, located about a 30-minute drive away. The use of fish in the dishes was also impressive, with tuna served with vegetables in a way that complemented the sauce. The restaurant truly brought out the flavors of the ingredients. The only downsides were the paper napkins and the flower vases stored on the side of the room, which seemed out of place. Overall, the food was excellent, the wine selection was good, and I would recommend this restaurant.

The cooking, from the chewy bread to the dessert, is all handmade by the chef. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything is delicious. The fish and vegetables are fresh, with no fishy smell, showing that good ingredients are used. I have visited twice for the satisfying 2,800 yen lunch course, and I am looking forward to enjoying the dinner course on my next visit!
