In my lifetime, this cafe meal is by far the best I've ever had. Everything from start to finish is delicious. The cafe can be a bit intimidating for some, as only up to 2 people are allowed in at a time and children are not allowed. However, the master inside is quiet but calm, and not scary at all. He works diligently and the interior of the cafe is not fancy, but that doesn't bother me. It's a one-man operation, so sometimes there are unwashed dishes on the counter and it may feel a bit cluttered. Smoking is allowed, so if cigarette smoke bothers you, this may not be the place for you. But the pasta, cheesecake, and tea glace (soft serve on top of iced tea) are amazing! The full set with pasta, drink, and half a cake is 1250 yen, but you can add another cake for 1500 yen. The pasta is cafe-level delicious, and the cheesecake is truly a delight. You can choose from New York cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake, and cheesecake pudding, but I recommend New York cheesecake and cheesecake pudding. The tea glace is a large soft serve on top of iced tea. The value for money is incredible. The attention to detail is evident in the ice cubes in the iced tea, which are cracked by hand. The master's dedication is felt throughout. The tea has a wonderful aroma. I can't drink coffee, but I've heard the espresso here is top-notch. A couple next to me today was raving about it. I used to frequent this place when I lived in Kichijoji, but it's been a while since I last visited. The style and taste have remained unchanged over the years, and I admire that. As I've grown older, I've come to appreciate this place even more, as it's not just a trendy cafe. I'll definitely be back. One thing that piqued my curiosity: Yano Akiko's music is always playing here. I wonder if the master is a fan.
