I arrived at the Kintetsu platform at Kyoto Station early in the morning to catch the Kintetsu line. Despite the early hour, there were many people coming in and out of the convenience store nearby. I decided to skip breakfast at home and instead buy something to eat at the convenience store to enjoy on the train. I chose items that wouldn't produce strong odors since eating on the train isn't always welcomed. The train was empty as it was the first one of the day. I bought a warm tea, a soft egg dog, a shrimp mayo rice ball, and a Hokkaido kelp rice ball. The food was delicious and perfect for the chilly spring morning. Despite knowing it was still early for cherry blossoms, I went on a trip to Yoshino Mountain for some flower viewing, enjoying the scenery along the way.
