I decided to take a leisurely walk to Aeon Mall Kyoto Gojo for tea and lunch. It's a weekday, but there are a lot of people here due to the diverse working styles. It's a bit surprising. Anyway, a little after 10 o'clock, I arrived at the shop and ordered a large size blend coffee. I sat at the counter and enjoyed reading a book. It's surprisingly comfortable here. I took a break here (◍•ᴗ•◍) It's a café in collaboration with Ogaki Bookstore, so there are plenty of books and I was able to relax and lose track of time. I had a cold brew iced coffee for 315 yen, which was easy to drink and delicious (๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑). There was a mom with a small baby on the sofa seats, and elderly customers at the counter. The age range of customers is wide. I read a book while charging my phone and the customer service was good, so I was able to relax٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

On a rainy Sunday, I came to AEON Mall Kyoto Gojo with my second and third daughters. I gave each of them a thousand yen, and without even looking back, the two of them dashed straight to the crane game corner. When I was a child (in the mid-1970s), I usually only received about 100 yen, though. On the other hand, I took a temporary retreat to a cafe. I ordered a blend coffee (M) for ¥290 and settled into a sofa seat that was only available for cafe customers. Away from the crowded hustle and bustle of shoppers, I could relax reasonably well. I felt that the pricing was somewhat high for a shopping mall, but the coffee was rich and delicious, so I was satisfied. Now, I will take a brief rest until my daughters return.
