Luckily, I was able to purchase the following items: Full Sec small can for ¥2801 (tax included), Fuki Yose red and white for ¥1201 (tax included), Fuki Yose dusk for ¥1201 (tax included), and Fuki Yose harvest for ¥1201 (tax included). These cookies are crispy and delicious!

The cookies that used to sell out before opening at Hankyu Umeda can be easily purchased here without lining up. I happened to pass by the store on a Sunday afternoon during a 3-day weekend and it didn't seem like they were running out. I decided to try the smallest size, the autumn limited edition "Fukiyose Minori" for 1201 yen including tax. Even though it was small, it was expensive. The net weight was 95g. When I tasted it, I was surprised by how ordinary it was. It tasted just like Yoku Moku cookies, which are the same price but contain over 4 times more. It has sugar cubes, walnuts, and other ingredients besides cookies. Is it just to make it look more substantial? They must have done a good job with branding to become popular. I'm tired of the cookie bubble. I'd rather spend money on ingredients than on something with no substance. Ultimately, homemade cookies are the most delicious.

I was intrigued, so I bought some for myself as well. The one I chose for myself was the "Fool's Egg Can". The description said it was a cookie with the fragrance of spices and herbs mixed with salt, in 6 varieties. When I opened the can, the scent was not like cookies at all, but more like a snack to go with alcohol. I had a bad feeling about it. When I tasted it, my opinion was the same - it was too unique. It had a scent more like a snack to accompany drinks rather than a sweet one. It might be good for people who drink alcohol, but it's too risky to give to an ordinary person. I'm glad I only bought it for myself. I hope the type meant for gifting to others is delicious. Upon researching the store, I found out that "Atelier Ukai" is related to the famous "Ukai-tei" known for their delicious meat dishes. Other branches of "Atelier Ukai" have been selected as top 100 sweets shops. Some locations also sell cakes, but the Kyoto store only sells cookies.

I used to often get takeout from the pastry shop of the UKAI group, which operates many restaurants in Tokyo and Kanagawa, when I went to the Kanto region.
