It's a very calm and relaxing atmosphere in this restaurant, and everything you eat is delicious in a subtle way. The dishes are meticulously prepared, the service is polite, and you can feel the warmth of the staff. I have been a regular customer even before they moved to their current location, and it's a place that I want to share with everyone but also keep as my own little secret. Personally, I'm hooked on their green curry. Not only the food, but the cafe also offers delicious sweets and cakes, making it a great choice for dessert or takeout. This cafe comes highly recommended.

This was my first visit since they moved, and I was reminded of how delicious the food is here. The meal had plenty of vegetables and was well-balanced, making me want to come back again. The green curry was delicious. I also had the potage, which was healthy yet incredibly tasty. I would definitely like to make this place a regular spot.

This is a cafe-like shop located in an alley behind the Kawabata Police Station. The interior is clean and stylish, appealing to women. The natural atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. The menu offers a few set meals and curry, all seeming gentle on the body. For an additional charge, you can upgrade to a larger portion. The dishes include pork belly and simmered egg for 930 yen, with an option to change the miso soup to the soup of the day for an extra 100 yen. The rice is red or ancient rice, which seems to be healthy. Today's soup was spinach and shiitake mushroom, slightly sweet with a buttery aroma. It was delicious. The pork belly had a good thickness and was satisfying to eat. The simmered egg and side vegetables like enoki mushrooms and nasturtium were also tasty. This restaurant is a warm and comforting place for both the heart and body. Thank you for the meal!

I finished watching the Yamahoko Parade and arrived in Okazaki around 12:30. Memento Mori was full, so I went to this place that recently moved near Kyoto University. It was crowded with local families, college couples, elderly solo men and women. The long-awaited green curry had a gentle flavor with a solid spiciness, which was delicious. The weekend set was luxurious, but when paired with curry, the salad was overshadowed, making me feel a bit disappointed. It might be better to go with the daily special or add soup to the daily special.

I visited this place for the first time since it moved from Kitaoji after 18 years of operation. It is located along a narrow road south of the Eizawa Dam, close to a stream. The menu has gradually expanded since the relocation, but the atmosphere remains the same. I went on a holiday and had a café time with a Gâteau au Chocolat topped with banana slices, which was rich and gooey but not too sweet. The chocolate flavor really stood out. The iced coffee was refreshing and clear. The café has a relaxed vibe with spacious bench seating. They offer a variety of baked goods and meal options, and also accommodate takeout orders. It's a great spot for a solo lunch in the Okazaki area. You can enjoy a leisurely meal and the ambiance is perfect for dining alone. It's a bit hard to describe, but it feels like the perfect place for Yuka's lanterns.

Today, I went to a cafe in Okazaki, Kyoto. Cafe Shizuku has recently relocated near Heian Shrine from its previous location in Kitashirakawa. The cafe opened on April 2, 2022, so it still feels very new. Inside, there are books and baked goods on display, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The lunch menu offers two daily specials, as well as options like "Green Curry" and "Pork Belly". I decided to try the Green Curry Rice. The curry came with a side salad. The green curry, made with coconut milk, was filled with vegetables like lotus root, eggplant, bell pepper, and shimeji mushrooms. The spices gave it a nice kick from the first bite. The rice was mixed with grains, giving it a slightly chewy texture. The abundance of vegetables was a delight, especially the flavorful eggplant. The chicken was tender and tasty. The curry had a good balance of flavors, not too spicy, and you could enjoy the richness of the coconut milk. The salad had a black sesame dressing, adding to the colorful presentation. It was a satisfying meal with plenty of vegetables and just the right amount of food. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere, making it a charming hidden gem!

I found a stylish and cute restaurant. I was looking for a lunch spot and discovered this hidden gem! Two women were cooking the dishes and serving them at the restaurant. The atmosphere and flavors were all amazing. They had daily lunch specials, so I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up choosing the broccoli tartare.

Kyoto during cherry blossom season is extremely crowded. With the Yosakoi event happening at Heian Shrine, it's even hotter. In the midst of it all, I was looking for a place to rest and stumbled upon this cafe. I ordered the Gateau Chocolat and a cafe latte, while my companion had the cheesecake and a drink that was like vinegar mixed with soda. To put it plainly, everything was delicious. The cakes were both of high quality, with a subtle sweetness that wasn't overwhelming, allowing for a clean finish. The Gateau Chocolat had a rich chocolate flavor that paired well with the cafe latte. The whipped cream that accompanied it was well thought out and added to the overall experience. The vinegar soda was refreshing with a noticeable tang of vinegar, and it was very tasty. Thank you for the meal.
