Looks like the smoking area is full, a common sight. The non-smoking area has some empty tables, so I didn't hesitate to sit there. Now, let's check out the menu thoroughly. It seems like "Salad Udon" is not on it. Instead, there's something new. How will this turn out? The "One-Day Vegetable Beef Salt Ramen" costs 754 yen with tax. What an interesting dish for me. They warned me that the bowl was hot, but I thought it was cold noodles. Well, it's fine. There's a lot of salad on top. It's basically a salad. The soup is a light beef-based broth. Interesting. The noodles are familiar, so it's forgivable. The toppings include lettuce, onions, lotus roots, corn, green beans, and more. There's also some pork shabu-shabu meat on the side. As for the taste, let's not get too detailed. It's familiar. But this idea is quite easy to replicate and might be nice! Using cut salad and instant noodles, you can easily make this at home, right? I reluctantly went there because the kids wanted to go on our way back from Shiga Prefecture. I ordered the Cheese-In Hamburg & Shrimp Fry for 899 yen, with rice, miso soup, and pickles set for an additional 299 yen. It was my first time at Gusto, and I was surprised that it ended up being more expensive than I had expected. For over 1000 yen, it wasn't particularly delicious, and I thought I could eat something cheaper and tastier at a regular diner. With everything being self-service at this price point, I don't think I'll be going back for the taste or service.

The restaurant was located along a busy national highway, and even on a weekday evening, there were quite a few people inside. The restaurant had smoking and non-smoking sections, but the non-smoking section near the smoking area might be a bit uncomfortable as it wasn't completely separated by glass. I sat far from the smoking area, so it was fine for me. We ordered drinks from the drink bar, fried potatoes for the son, and chocolate mousse cake for myself. The taste was okay, probably better than other family restaurants. Each item may not be expensive individually, but dining out can add up. It's kind of a pitfall of family restaurants. It was a weekday, and a middle-aged male waiter served us, and there was no negative vibe. My friend mentioned that the younger part-time staff, especially the male ones, are friendly and provide good service during nighttime or weekends. Overall, it was okay at Gusto. Located near the East Inter entrance. Visited after 9 pm on a weekday. The parking lot is usually quite full, and the inside of the restaurant is somewhat smoke-free, but... it's not great. It might be better to check the age of smokers who want to sit in the smoking section (I usually think so at family restaurants). On this day, I ordered the zesty crab and shrimp tomato sauce spaghetti (628 yen), and my companion ordered the doria. The pasta was served first, along with tabasco and powdered cheese. At the top, there were a few small shrimp and crab meat... I don't think it's necessary to write "zesty crab..." One bite and I added tabasco. The tomato sauce was red, but quite thin and lacked depth of flavor. It didn't really taste like tabasco, so I asked for some pepper. The pasta itself was overcooked and mushy. The sauce alone would have been okay, but this was... The seating arrangement allows for a comfortable and leisurely dining experience, and you can stay and chat with friends without any complaints. The drink bar is also reasonably priced. Perhaps family restaurants are expensive in general, or maybe it's just this restaurant. I didn't have high expectations for the taste, but... the crispy texture that was missing during my visit to Daigo the other day was...

Our restaurant is located near the Kyoto Higashi Interchange along Route 1. Although Gasto is a chain of family restaurants that can be found anywhere, I visited our restaurant for lunch during a business trip. I ordered the daily lunch special and it was delicious. When you think of family restaurants, hamburgers are a staple. I had a hamburger on this day and the sauce and minced meat went well together and tasted great. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance.
