Every time I think about going, I never seem to have the chance and end up just passing by. This time, I decided to get takeout. I got the Taiwanese-style scallion bread for 380 yen, croissant for 280 yen, and chocolate with adzuki beans for 350 yen. The Taiwanese-style scallion bread was neither good nor bad. The croissant was perfect for me, with butter oozing out when I bite into it. Definitely a repeat purchase! The chocolate with adzuki beans looked really hard on the outside, but biting into it revealed a delicious mix of chocolate and adzuki beans inside. This is a definite repeat purchase for me! I love the taste!

The almond flavor is hidden inside and it's really delicious. I highly recommend trying it out! I recently had breakfast at Bread & Tapas Sawamura Hiroo store after a long time. On this day, I was interested in the eat-in menu at the convenient location bakery & cafe Sawamura Hiroo Plaza, but I decided to go for takeout. I was curious about the cute star-shaped croissant and the roll cake. Sawamura's croissant was priced at 432 yen. This cute croissant shape is made of croissant dough with plenty of caramelized nuts on top. The nuts are finely chopped, so they don't overpower the croissant dough and blend well when eaten. What I liked even more was the nut paste inside. Croissants like this usually have a strong impact on the outside, but sometimes you can get tired of them because they are too thick. However, with the nuts inside, you can enjoy the deliciousness until the end. I really got hooked on this! I wonder how it would taste if I reheated it. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you as always. Please follow me back.

Yesterday, I revisited "Sawamura" with gourmet and fishing buddies. We shared a delicious lunch and were very satisfied with the many tasty dishes. Thank you for the meal. I am looking for friends to have quick lunches, visit cafes, and have dinners around Ebisu. Also looking for ramen buddies and fishing buddies. (laughs)

Hiroo has many cafes that are not as expensive as one might imagine, but it is an area where real estate prices are extremely high. It is a place where high-end items sell well. There are two recommended cafes in a building facing a major road. The cafe on the first floor has a nice atmosphere, but our bakery cafe on the second floor offers good value for money. They serve their own home-roasted coffee from Karuizawa, which is not bitter even when drunk black and has a flavorful taste. The Bolognese omelette with salad is quite delicious and elegant, with a satisfying portion size. The clam chowder soup is also tasty, with a generous amount of ingredients and no unpleasant taste. Highly satisfying. A recommended cafe in Hiroo. You can also buy bread to take home.

When I have plans in Hiroo and want to kill time or have brunch, I often use Mr. Sawamura's place here. If you're alone, you can usually find a seat, but during lunchtime or around 3pm on weekends, there's a high chance of having to wait if you're in a group of two or more. The bread here is delicious no matter what you order, but I tend to go for the hamburgers or sandwiches. However, this time I needed something to tide me over until dinner, so I chose an iced cafe latte and a coffee-filled bun. Inside the coffee-flavored, slightly bitter filling, there were prunes? The bread was also not overshadowed by the filling, with a good aroma and soft texture, making them a great match. I wonder why I had overlooked this until now... I liked the taste so much that I will probably buy it again on my next visit.

It was too hot outside so I escaped to my favorite Sawamura! The lunchtime was bustling with customers. I tried the summer limited Pan au Maïs for the first time, priced at ¥350! The chewy outer layer had a firm texture, with corn kneaded into it. The bread had a subtle sweetness to it. I found it a bit lacking for my taste, but it was a very delicious bread.

Bakery & Cafe Sawamura at Hiroo Plaza, good morning after a night of drinking! This day, I decided to have breakfast in Hiroo, as I had some errands in the area. I had my eye on a place called "Bakery & Cafe Sawamura," which I believe is a bakery in Karuizawa. It is located on the 2nd floor of Hiroo Plaza. As soon as I arrived, I noticed that it seemed open for breakfast, so I went in. To my surprise, the place was fully packed with customers. It seems to be quite popular. Perhaps all the people in Hiroo come here for breakfast. I also noticed many foreigners, who I assume live around this area rather than being tourists. I had to wait for a while to secure a seat, and once I got one, I went to place my order.
Here are some of the menu highlights:
- Sausage and scrambled egg thick toast plate 1848 yen
- Bacon and fried egg thick toast plate 1540 yen
- Raisin bread French toast 1540 yen
- Hot sandwich BLT 1045 yen
- Chicken and coriander focaccia hot sandwich 1078 yen
- Baker's hamburger 1595 yen
I was tempted to have a hamburger for breakfast, but since I was already there in the morning, I decided to go for the breakfast menu. I chose the sausage and scrambled egg thick toast plate and ordered an iced coffee.
The sausage and scrambled egg thick toast plate was served after a short wait, along with the iced coffee. The toast was delicious, and the salad with French dressing was refreshing. The scrambled eggs and bacon on top of the toast were a perfect combination. The sausage was also tasty, whether eaten with the bread or on its own. I enjoyed every bite and was completely satisfied.
After finishing my meal, I relaxed for a bit before leaving as the place was getting crowded. It was a delightful morning enjoying delicious bread and coffee while leisurely browsing through news and articles on my phone. There are probably many similar trendy morning spots in Hiroo, so I look forward to exploring more next time I visit.

In the early afternoon, it was a bit empty and easy to bring in a stroller. I was happy because my child fell asleep. I ordered French toast, which came with vegetables and bacon, and I was pleased. The coffee was delicious as well. I'm interested in trying other items on the menu next time.

If you want to have breakfast in Hiroo, this is the place to go. The bread is delicious! I always want to eat this taste, and the price is reasonable. The atmosphere and customer base are also very good, with many families. Even when I finished eating in the store and was about to leave, the staff kindly said, "Please leave the plates as they are!" despite being busy. The service is excellent.

I usually eat only chocolate daifuku, but my daughter is on a diet so she eats non-sweet bread. Focaccia is always delicious as usual, but I wonder if the quality of baguettes has decreased, or is it due to humidity? Well, considering the high price, I tend to be strict about quality control.

Thick slices of airy bread make me feel happy and relaxed. Mr. Sawamura slices the bread to your desired thickness on the spot, which makes it fun to customize according to your preference. This time, I ordered a half loaf sliced into four 3cm-thick slices for a luxurious treat. The bread is toasted to a crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just as the name "mochi mochi" bread suggests. It has a slightly rustic taste and aroma with whole wheat flour in the dough. I enjoy spreading Calpis butter on it or pairing it with crispy sausages. Eating it with avocado and tomato salad in between, I can almost feel the breeze of Karuizawa blowing through.

Located in Hiroo Plaza near Hiroo Station, Sawamura Bakery Cafe is a great spot for brunch. It can get quite crowded during lunchtime, but if you go a little before noon, you can get in without much wait. The menu offers a wide variety of options from hamburgers to salads, hot dogs, croque madame, sandwiches, and even a kids' plate. On this particular day, I had the salad lunch with an oat latte, and also got some fried potatoes for my son. The salad came with several types of bread, which my son enjoyed along with the potatoes. The salad was quite filling even without the bread, so it was satisfying. The drinks were delicious too. It's a shame that reservations are not accepted, but the tasty bread makes it a cafe worth visiting occasionally. Highly recommended for families with children!

I have lost count of how many times I have visited this place haha. The taste is delicious, but the prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, this time they were sold out of their popular chocolate anko bread. Lately, I have started to change my opinion about this bakery. For bread lovers, a rating of 3.5 is acceptable, but for the general public considering cost performance, maybe around 3.3.

I returned from a 2-night, 3-day trip to Sanin. The sunrise Izumo seat on the way back was more of a challenge than I expected, and I'm a little tired lol. Arrived at Hiroo Plaza 2F on Sunday at 8:30, with 80% occupancy. It's a popular bakery in Karuizawa. Hot Dog Standard Sauce ¥780 → Tartar sauce also available. First of all, the bread is delicious. The surface is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is fluffy. The wheat flavor is also elegant. The sausage is also fragrant, and the balance of the pickles' acidity and sweetness is good in the hot dog. Worth the price. Clam Chowder ¥650 → A thin, milky soup with plenty of ingredients that is delicious. Total: ¥1573. As I eat, I start to get back to my daily routine. Let's do our best until the next trip.

I want to have a hearty breakfast, so I went to "Sawamura" at Hiroo Plaza, right next to Hiroo Station. I secured a seat first and then ordered at the counter. Interestingly, the same table as last time was available. I decided to try the breakfast plate with fried eggs and bacon, as well as the chicken and coriander sandwich. Both came with a drink. The breakfast plate was very luxurious, with fried eggs and bacon brought to the table. The hot sandwich was made with focaccia bread, similar to a banh mi but slightly different. The sandwich had chicken, coriander, and carrots. The dressing gave it a slightly strong acidity, but the volume of the focaccia bread helped balance it out. The crispy texture of the carrots and coriander paired well with the chicken. My daughter enjoyed a large toast with plenty of butter, along with bacon and fried eggs on the side. The bacon was thicker than expected, making it a bit challenging to cut with a knife.

Doria was ¥1300. It was hot, meaty, and had a good amount of spices. It came with clam chowder, which was full of chunky ingredients. The iced tea had a nice aroma. The round table had a power outlet for each table, which seemed convenient. Thank you for the meal.

Natural yeast and wheat-focused bakery. They are expanding their presence in Karuizawa and upscale areas in Tokyo. Bought items: BIO baguette 350, Olive baton 400, Cherry & cranberry campagne 450. Eating and shopping in Tokyo feels like you're paying the rent for that shop ^_^ Oh well, if you have complaints, you'll just have to make it yourself ^_^

Today, I visited the bakery and cafe "Bakery & Cafe Sawamura Hiroo Plaza" located in Hiroo Plaza. The entrance was a bit easy to miss, but I decided to check it out. It seemed like the cafe was the main focus, but I ended up buying an almond chocolate Danish, my favorite cinnamon roll, and a milk stick recommended by the staff. I may have ordered too many sweet items. Thank you for the meal.

It always gives the impression of being crowded, but on this day, it was unusually empty in the evening on a weekday. The bread is delicious, but I was too full to order any on this day. The place has more depth than it looks and there are plenty of seats. It is self-service style, with water available at the pickup counter. The coffee is average, but the bread is very delicious. Personally, I prefer Bread & Tapas Sawamura Hiroo store, but this place is recommended for chatting. The store's chicness is top-notch. The customers are mostly elegant, which is a characteristic. It might be a good place to experience a celebrity-like atmosphere.

Omelette and Bolognese open sandwich. I ordered a large iced cafe latte, totaling around 1800 yen. No matter which lunch set you order, the salad is the same. The dressing is so delicious. The omelette on top of the soft bread with Bolognese is irresistible! It's so tasty, I wonder why? Is it the eggs? Butter? Milk? Cheese? It's deep and spreads in your mouth. It's slightly runny in some parts, so when you stick your fork in, it's creamy. The meat is seasoned just right. The eggs have a mild seasoning, so it balances well with the flavorful meat. The coffee, tea, and cafe latte all have my preferred taste at this shop. The aroma is nice. The place was almost full, with 90% of the customers being women. I think there were a lot of students and housewives during lunchtime. I will definitely go back! It was delicious!
