On this day, I was interested in the eat-in menu at the convenient location bakery & cafe Sawamura Hiroo Plaza, but I decided to go for takeout. I was curious about the cute star-shaped croissant and the roll cake. Sawamura's croissant was priced at 432 yen. This cute croissant shape is made of croissant dough with plenty of caramelized nuts on top. The nuts are finely chopped, so they don't overpower the croissant dough and blend well when eaten. What I liked even more was the nut paste inside. Croissants like this usually have a strong impact on the outside, but sometimes you can get tired of them because they are too thick. However, with the nuts inside, you can enjoy the deliciousness until the end. I really got hooked on this! I wonder how it would taste if I reheated it. I will definitely be a repeat customer. There are two recommended cafes in a building facing a major road. The cafe on the first floor has a nice atmosphere, but our bakery cafe on the second floor offers good value for money. They serve their own home-roasted coffee from Karuizawa, which is not bitter even when drunk black and has a flavorful taste. The Bolognese omelette with salad is quite delicious and elegant, with a satisfying portion size. The clam chowder soup is also tasty, with a generous amount of ingredients and no unpleasant taste. As soon as I arrived, I noticed that it seemed open for breakfast, so I went in. To my surprise, the place was fully packed with customers. It seems to be quite popular. Perhaps all the people in Hiroo come here for breakfast. I also noticed many foreigners, who I assume live around this area rather than being tourists. I had to wait for a while to secure a seat, and once I got one, I went to place my order. In the early afternoon, it was a bit empty and easy to bring in a stroller. I was happy because my child fell asleep. I ordered French toast, which came with vegetables and bacon, and I was pleased. The coffee was delicious as well. I'm interested in trying other items on the menu next time.

It can get quite crowded during lunchtime, but if you go a little before noon, you can get in without much wait. The menu offers a wide variety of options from hamburgers to salads, hot dogs, croque madame, sandwiches, and even a kids' plate. On this particular day, I had the salad lunch with an oat latte, and also got some fried potatoes for my son. The salad came with several types of bread, which my son enjoyed along with the potatoes. The salad was quite filling even without the bread, so it was satisfying. The drinks were delicious too. It's a shame that reservations are not accepted, but the tasty bread makes it a cafe worth visiting occasionally. Highly recommended for families with children!

I have lost count of how many times I have visited this place haha. The taste is delicious, but the prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, this time they were sold out of their popular chocolate anko bread. Lately, I have started to change my opinion about this bakery. For bread lovers, a rating of 3.5 is acceptable, but for the general public considering cost performance, maybe around 3.3.

I returned from a 2-night, 3-day trip to Sanin. The sunrise Izumo seat on the way back was more of a challenge than I expected, and I'm a little tired lol. Arrived at Hiroo Plaza 2F on Sunday at 8:30, with 80% occupancy. It's a popular bakery in Karuizawa. Hot Dog Standard Sauce ¥780 → Tartar sauce also available. First of all, the bread is delicious. The surface is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is fluffy. The wheat flavor is also elegant. The sausage is also fragrant, and the balance of the pickles' acidity and sweetness is good in the hot dog. Worth the price. Doria was ¥1300. It was hot, meaty, and had a good amount of spices. It came with clam chowder, which was full of chunky ingredients. The iced tea had a nice aroma. The round table had a power outlet for each table, which seemed convenient. Thank you for the meal.

Natural yeast and wheat-focused bakery. They are expanding their presence in Karuizawa and upscale areas in Tokyo. Bought items: BIO baguette 350, Olive baton 400, Cherry & cranberry campagne 450. Eating and shopping in Tokyo feels like you're paying the rent for that shop ^_^ Oh well, if you have complaints, you'll just have to make it yourself ^_^

Personally, I prefer Bread & Tapas Sawamura Hiroo store, but this place is recommended for chatting. The store's chicness is top-notch. The customers are mostly elegant, which is a characteristic. It might be a good place to experience a celebrity-like atmosphere.

Omelette and Bolognese open sandwich. I ordered a large iced cafe latte, totaling around 1800 yen. No matter which lunch set you order, the salad is the same. The dressing is so delicious. The omelette on top of the soft bread with Bolognese is irresistible! It's so tasty, I wonder why? Is it the eggs? Butter? Milk? Cheese? It's deep and spreads in your mouth. It's slightly runny in some parts, so when you stick your fork in, it's creamy. The meat is seasoned just right. The eggs have a mild seasoning, so it balances well with the flavorful meat. The coffee, tea, and cafe latte all have my preferred taste at this shop. The aroma is nice. The place was almost full, with 90% of the customers being women. I think there were a lot of students and housewives during lunchtime. I will definitely go back! It was delicious!
