Today, I decided to change things up and get takeout for lunch. One of the most popular options for takeout is Hokka Hokka Tei, so I headed there. I ordered the Chicken Nanban Bento (560 yen) with a side of fried rice (+150 yen). I was considering getting the classic fried chicken bento, but decided to treat myself a bit. You can switch the white rice for bamboo rice or fried rice for an additional fee. Overall, the quality felt like it was made with pre-packaged ingredients. The bento lacked any appeal or value, and I can't say it was good. Perhaps sticking with the fried chicken bento would have been a better choice.
