A few minutes' walk from Kawaramachi Station in Kyoto. I stopped by here today. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats and table seats, with a decent variety of menu items focusing on chicken. Orders are placed using a touch panel. I ordered a draft beer and some fried chicken. And also ordered a pot rice dish for dessert. Let's dig in! The fried chicken was surprisingly generous in portion compared to what was shown on the menu. The flavor was on the rich side, making it a great match with beer. The pot rice arrived and was lit on fire, ready to eat after about 30 minutes. However, it took quite a while from ordering to serving, around 45 minutes in total. One beer was not enough, so I added a large glass of Kinmugi beer. The pot rice was affordable and had plenty of ingredients, including crispy rice at the bottom. Overall, it was a satisfying meal! One good thing about Torikizoku is the fixed price for all items. There are no appetizers, making it suitable for casual drinking.

I was tempted to order something more expensive, but ended up with a cola instead. The food selection isn't extensive, but the skewers cover various parts of the chicken and they have popular izakaya dishes. I recommend the chicken rice porridge! It would be a good way to end a night of drinking. I had a cola, but I might visit again soon.

It's a popular place where you can drink without worrying about your wallet. It was crowded, but I was able to get in after a short wait. Should I make a reservation next time? It wasn't delicious, but for 280 yen, it was acceptable. The chicken broth ramen was honestly the best. It was better than the average bad ramen shop around. The camembert cheese mochi had a strong cheese flavor. I thought the taste might divide opinions. I think the dish was called momo yuzu. It was a limited-time item, so we ordered it! The taste was decently good. I haven't been here before, so I'm not sure, but the staff's movements were very slow. Maybe it was because of the consecutive holidays? Personally, I don't feel like revisiting this place much.

Especially the popular items like the Momo Kizoku Yaki and the skin! They are tender and juicy, and you can't believe they're only 280 yen. Other items are also generous in portion, so I don't think anyone would complain. The only disappointing thing was that among the various yakitori I ordered, there was one that was completely burnt. I think the person making it must have known it was burnt but still served it. That's a shame. But it's definitely worth trying Torikizoku at least once!!

On Friday around noon, I was wandering around the area between Kiyamachi and Kawaramachi, planning to drink heavily. I stumbled upon this place on the 6th floor of a new building just north of Häagen-Dazs. Despite the uniform price of 280 yen, the food was surprisingly good. I always thought this place was only in Osaka, but turns out there are 5 locations in Kyoto too! The restaurant has a nice wooden interior and attracts a younger crowd. Although I had already eaten a lot, I tried the Chanja, Octopus with Wasabi, Spicy Cucumber Pickles, and Chicken with Vinegar, which all came out quickly and were quite tasty. I also had a few skewers of yakitori, which were pretty good. The drink selection was hit or miss, but being able to get a ZIMA for 280 yen was a nice surprise. If you're looking for a place to drink and have a good time without needing a fancy atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I visited this Torikizoku restaurant for a company year-end party 5-6 years ago at the Koyamachi branch. I didn't have a very good impression of Torikizoku, but my partner wanted to try it for the first time, so I went along. This branch is open until 5 am, making it easy to visit. They offer various types of yakitori such as tsukune, chicken skin, chicken tail, chicken tenderloin with wasabi, and chicken thigh. They also have cabbage and yakitori rice bowl. When we visited after 1 am on a Sunday night, many types of yakitori were already sold out. The skewers are all large and satisfying to eat. The chicken tenderloin with wasabi had more wasabi than expected. The chicken thigh was tough and dry. The rest was average. However, I didn't feel completely satisfied. Despite the late hour, the restaurant was still crowded with many customers coming in one after another. It's a popular place. The staff were busy but moved quickly and had smiles on their faces. However, the overflowing trash cans visible from the seating area was off-putting. I wish they had covered trash cans. The restroom was also dirty, perhaps because they were too busy to check and clean it. The customers and staff were all young, but maybe they don't mind such things. Is it part of the price for dining at a cheap restaurant?

Bird Land is a restaurant that you often see on the streets. I often use this restaurant with my colleagues and bosses from work. We usually go after a drinking party, and I always end up eating a lot. On this day, we ordered a lot of items, including Johnbo yakitori! Even though we ate a lot, it only cost around 2000 yen per person. It's really cheap! They are open until around 5 am, so you can enjoy a leisurely meal. We had a fun time drinking until morning on this day. Thank you for the meal!

It's stable now. A well-known yakitori chain restaurant, Torikizoku. It was a Sunday late night, so there were few other places open until morning, and I went there after a long time. The taste is consistent. The prices are consistent. The noise level is consistent. (laughs) It's a shame that they've switched from Yamazaki whiskey without notice, but it can't be helped. I actually want to commend them for serving Yamazaki at that price until now. And as expected, it's noisy. (laughs) There were quite a few people in costumes since it was the day after Halloween. Not recommended for those looking for a quiet place to chat. But it's good for feeling nostalgic about your college days once in a while. (laughs) All in all, I like it.

The title says it all... This restaurant is really well done. Everything is priced at 280 yen and the quality is more than enough! Whisky highball with Yamazaki at the same price as cucumber?! Moreover, the side dishes other than yakitori are quite delicious. The other day, I had chanja and simmered egg as a side dish with highball, and the quality was no less than what you would get at a fancy izakaya. Maybe even better? I will definitely visit again!

When we tried to order various dishes, we found that many items on the menu were sold out. It was a bit disappointing since we came with high expectations. But I was impressed by their efforts to keep things fresh, such as introducing new pancake and yakitori dishes that weren't available during my previous visit. I will definitely come back earlier next time!

After work, I went out to eat with my colleagues. The grilled grated yam was excellent. The pot rice was also delicious and satisfying in portion. The speed of serving alcohol was good, and with skewers, drinks, and snacks, it turned into a great drinking session. The last time I visited, we had a party with 28 people, and the quality of Torikizoku's food and quantity were consistent, making everyone in a good mood and ending the gathering on a happy note. If you want to enjoy delicious yakitori in a fun and affordable way, Torikizoku is the place to go. I look forward to continuing to visit in the future!!

I started with a cheers with a draft beer (by myself) and it was delicious as always. Then, I ordered some Chanja, pickled eggplant, and various types of yakitori, and finished with a hearty bowl of ramen. I would like to go again even by myself (lol).

After finishing work at the izakaya, I went with friends to a yakitori restaurant. We decided to go to Torikizoku because it was close to our workplace and also affordable. The food was delicious, especially the grilled chicken thigh with sauce. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and nice. The beer was also very tasty. I recommend you to try it too!

I like Torikizoku. It's always crowded, so I often have to wait for a seat, but I keep going back. I think it's a place where you can order what you want without worrying about money. I don't drink any alcohol in my private life, but I enjoy going to izakayas. Torikizoku might be one of my favorite places to go. I think it's a chain restaurant that provides a high level of satisfaction. I would be really happy if they could improve their dessert menu.
