Vitamare sells various products such as fresh sweets, baked goods, chocolates, gelato, etc. I bought their specialty product this time, which I have bought many times and is my favorite. It is a cookie coated with chocolate containing macadamia nuts, with chocolate kneaded into the cookie dough. There are dark and milk chocolate versions, but I prefer the dark one because it is less sweet. It costs just over 100 yen each, so it is not expensive and makes a good souvenir or gift. I have eaten it many times and it is still delicious, so I would recommend this product to others.

Various cakes and baked goods are delicious, but the recommended dessert is this one. A classic milk chocolate dessert. The sablé is crispy, topped with plenty of macadamia nuts, almonds, and pistachios. It's the Macadamia Chocolat.

The taste is delicious. I especially like the flavor of the nuts. However, it is quite expensive. When considering the taste and cost performance, I rated it this way. Each piece is quite small and can be eaten up in an instant. But it costs over 100 yen per piece, so it's not something you can easily buy.

I visited around 4:10 pm on a holiday. I was able to buy them right away. I got the Chocolat Samba for 594 yen, which had milk chocolate mousse and dark chocolate mousse. I also got the Coupe d'Foudre for 626 yen, which had milk chocolate mousse, caramel mousse, caramelized hazelnuts, and orange peel.

A cute shortcake that looks like a candle! Perfect for enjoying alone. It's round like a whole cake (lol). The fluffy, light sponge cake with delicious not-too-sweet whipped cream and a big juicy strawberry on top was so tasty. It was so light and delicious that even though I had it after a meal, it disappeared in no time. Thank you for the meal! (* ´ ▽ ` *)

The chocolate was delicious. The chocolate cake was surprisingly tasty with a good amount and punch. It was delicious. When I first tasted it, I was impressed. The chocolate was not too sweet and had a mature flavor. There was also a good amount. It was too delicious!

Located in the basement of Kyoto Daimaru department store, WITTAMER is a popular sweets shop from Belgium run by the renowned chocolatier Paul Veda Mel. The cakes here are delicious as well! The Macadamia Chocolat is perfect as a gift and also affordable and tasty for personal indulgence. There are milk and dark chocolate options available, but getting both and alternating between them is a special treat!

The next day, I was about to return to Sapporo for a visit, so I decided to buy some souvenirs in advance in Kyoto. Due to my lack of research, the patisserie I was aiming for was closed on their regular holiday... So, I quickly changed my plans and headed to Daimaru Kyoto store instead. It was a department store underground that I rarely visited. With almost no knowledge of sweet shops, I had to rely on my instincts to make a decision. In that situation, I chose to purchase souvenirs from here. Later, I found out that it was established in 1910 in the capital of Belgium, Brussels, and in 1990 it was recognized as the first branch in the world. They have created original recipes tailored to the rich seasons of Japan and the taste buds of the Japanese people, adding a new tradition to this great history... The showcase also had items like shortcakes and macarons, but I needed baked goods that would last longer, and they had a great lineup. I found gift-sized products in various sizes and made my decision. I bought 8 souvenirs for relatives, friends, and backup. The staff at the store were very kind, and they gave me paper bags of appropriate sizes for each item, making the shopping experience enjoyable. I hope that the recipients in Hokkaido will be happy to receive these sweets that do not have a branch in Hokkaido...

On Friday at 7:20 PM, I stopped by the event on the 7th floor and on my way back, I went to VITAMEAL. I bought 4 Belgian éclairs for 248 yen each and 4 choux truffles for 129 yen each. Although the fresh cakes looked good, I was in the mood for chocolate today, so I chose these instead. They were carefully placed in a box for me. The éclair had a caramel flavor with nuts and cream, providing a delightful texture. It was a bit difficult to eat due to the chocolate coating on the outside, but it was satisfying and reasonably priced for its size. The choux truffle, coated in milk chocolate, was sweeter compared to the petit choux éclair, offering a strong sweetness and a sense of satisfaction in just one piece. Children would definitely enjoy this treat. I look forward to trying the fresh cakes next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This year, my husband requested a chocolate cake for his birthday. It was difficult to find a variety of whole chocolate cakes at cake shops, but here at VITAMEAL, there are 3-4 different options! We let my husband choose a chocolate cake and made a reservation. We also found out that they have a limited-time chocolate choux cream, so we added it as a bonus for my husband who loves choux cream. The "Chocola Samba" is a 10.5cm whole cake priced at 2592 yen. It is a classic VITAMEAL chocolate cake! Although it was my first time trying it, the appearance was beautiful and truly a chocolate cake! Inside, there are layers of chocolate sponge, cream, and chocolate mousse. The mousse uses different types of milk and bitter chocolate, so you can taste various chocolate flavors in one cake. Since the cake is mainly mousse, it is easy to eat even though it is a rich chocolate whole cake! My daughter, who loves chocolate, ate most of the chocolate around the cake by herself... as usual, she doesn't eat much cake... but I'm glad my husband, the main guest, was satisfied with it. The bonus chocolate choux cream is priced at 129 yen each! It is small but the affordable price is great. The surface is coated with chocolate and the cream inside is also chocolate, but it is not too sweet and easy to eat! Since my whole family loves chocolate, I once again thought that VITAMEAL is great.

My sake mentor was doing a sweets crawl, so I thought I'd give it a try too. I went from Hanbeifu's sakura mochi fu to VidaMiel. I actually prefer their classic cookies with macadamia nuts and chocolate coating, but today the eclair looked delicious so I bought it. We shared it at the end of the party venue. Normally I would pass, but I had to try it for my food blog. The choux pastry was crispy and the chocolate was delicious. The cream inside was not custard, but chocolate cream, which paired well with the chocolate on top. I could eat another one! It was delicious. Before the party, I had some time so I strolled through the cherry blossoms and Ishibei Koji to Kodaiji Temple. Oh, and I won a hair clipper in the bingo game at the party. Completely unnecessary for me, a woman. What's in the canned food night companion prize? Thank you for the meal.

The bell signaling the beginning of Valentine's Day is finally ringing. Chocolate fairs are being held at department stores nationwide, including here at Daimaru in Kyoto. I need to hurry and find the most popular chocolate here in the basement before time runs out. I asked a staff member from a top-notch confectionery shop for the most popular chocolate in the basement, and they recommended a white box of chocolates called "Vitamail" - or was it "Wittawer"? I can't seem to remember the exact spelling, so I'll just think of it as "Twitter". It's a bit early for Valentine's Day and White Day, but it's better to be prepared. The cute white paper bag with pink accents is so charming and alluring. It's a sexy color combination. It reminds me of the seductive charm of Yūjiro Miwa. I need to channel my inner Monroe walk.

I visited this place out of necessity during this time. You can probably imagine the situation. When you place an order, the staff puts on gloves and packs it for you. It must be tough for them. I appreciate the staff for that. The VITAMEAL had a faint brandy aroma in the soft chocolate inside. The MARTINION had a strong sweet rum raisin flavor. It didn't feel very high-end though. I tried the recommended dish, but it was a bit disappointing. I thought all these items would be similar, but it didn't live up to the one I purchased last year. It's a tricky thing.

WITTAMER is a chocolate specialty shop and cake store. I couldn't resist writing a review after trying their second most popular cake, Chocolat Samba, for a birthday celebration. This cake is made of layers of milk chocolate mousse, dark chocolate, and sponge. The sponge part is so soft that it almost blends in with the chocolate mousse, making it hard to tell where it is. When cutting the cake, the knife sinks in smoothly without causing the shape to collapse, which is impressive. The chocolate flavor is rich and perfectly balanced, not too overwhelming but so delicious that you could eat the whole cake in one go. This is the best chocolate dessert I've ever had. Even if you're not a big fan of chocolate, you will love it. If you're unsure which cake to choose, I highly recommend going for the Chocolat Samba.

I love chocolate. On this day, I had a meal at "Washoku Haruru" and afterwards, I was craving chocolate. So, I headed to the nearby Daimaru department store. In the food section, when it comes to chocolate cake, you have to go with Viermeil. I think the quality at the department store's shop is excellent (although it may just suit my taste haha). In the showcase, there was a cake with the world's most expensive chocolate, so I chose that. When I got home and made some coffee, I took a bite of the cake and forgot about the coffee. It was delicious. The combination of the fruit sauce's acidity and the chocolate was exquisite. Next time, I'll buy it at the nearby Takashimaya.

Located in Kyoto Daimaru, "Wittamer" is one of my favorite chocolates. For White Day, I purchased the limited edition "Pur Chocolat (12 pieces)." It is a smooth fresh chocolate made with Belgian chocolate and cream. The melting texture is irresistible. Among the many luxury chocolates, this Pur Chocolat is relatively reasonably priced. I will definitely purchase it again next year. I highly recommend it to those who love fresh chocolate. Wittamer Pur Chocolat page → https://www.wittamer.jp/products/chocolat_frais.html Pur Chocolat (limited edition) - 6 pieces (864 yen) - 12 pieces (1296 yen) - 18 pieces (1836 yen)
