I really liked the atmosphere of the tapioca shop in China! I ordered something like Peach Oolong Tea. You can choose the sweetness and ice level, and I ordered mine with no ice and normal sweetness. It was just sweet enough and had a soft texture, making it easy to drink! The best!

This is a popular spot for Doshisha University students! With its relaxed seating arrangement and quiet atmosphere, it has essentially become a study cafe. The tea is inexpensive and delicious, making it feel like heaven. Around 5 pm on weekdays, it was about 80% full. There is no background music, and most people are quietly studying or working on their laptops. The prices are similar to Starbucks, and if this place is within my reach, I would definitely come here regularly. On this day, I had a reservation at the nearby Chinese restaurant, Birei. I went out of my way to buy tapioca for the first time, and I was so impressed by how cheap and delicious it was! My number one recommendation for a tapioca shop is Honmiya Tekicha! The store is clean and you can stay as long as you want. It's quiet and you can relax!

The large glass entrance is impressive, and the spacious interior of the store is quite flashy. I thought they might have tapioca drinks, but there were various toppings available, so I chose a milk tea with "brown sugar jelly" instead of tapioca. It was delicious as usual.
