Good evening! This is the president. Today, I would like to introduce a coffee bean shop, not a cafe or a coffee shop. It is located near the Marutamachi intersection in Kyoto, just south of Marutamachi Street. The shop is called "Nishinaya Coffee Marutamachi Roasting Factory". They have an amazing selection of 60 different types of coffee beans, ranging from popular beans to beans from unknown farms. They even have rare beans like "Wild Kopi Luwak" and the "Panama Esmeralda Geisha Private Collection" that became a hot topic at the end of the year. This time, I tried the "Laos Bolaven Typica" bean, as I have been enjoying Asian coffee recently. You can choose the degree of roasting you prefer and they will roast the beans on the spot. There are 8 levels of roasting, and they recommend the best roasting level for each bean on a nameplate. The roasting is done using hot air, which allows for radiant heat from below as well. It only takes less than 10 minutes to complete. While waiting, I had a chance to taste the coffee. With more people brewing coffee at home during the pandemic, it's a good idea to try to find the coffee that suits you best while getting advice. Thank you for the delicious coffee! (^^)

This is a shop with its main store in Hiroshima. The cute staff member was very knowledgeable about coffee, and my son and the staff member were chatting enthusiastically about coffee. They were both coffee lovers and were having a lively discussion. We stopped by during our trip to Kyoto, so we haven't tried the coffee yet. I'm just writing this down as a note for our trip. We also bought some coffee beans during this trip, so once we brew and try them, I will post an update.
