On May 31, 2023, Wednesday, before 6 o'clock, I visited a restaurant. When I entered, there was already a customer waiting. If you input that you are dining alone on the monitor, you will be called immediately. I sat at the designated seat and placed my order using the touch panel. Today, I felt like eating sushi rolls, so I had things like Negitoro and mackerel with shiso. The seaweed was delicious. Negitoro was cheap and really good. I had about 5 plates and then left. However, when I left, there was a long line waiting. Having dinner at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant is quite an experience.

It was not crowded! Perhaps due to the influence of social media? The premium eel bowl was delicious, although the price seemed to be for an overseas product. I recommend coming at a less busy time if possible, as you can easily find a seat. The noise from the gachapon machines is still bothersome, but it is a very valuable restaurant where you can go without worrying about parking fees.

Rotating sushi is something our family often enjoys, with Sushiro being our go-to spot. However, lately we've been going to Kura Sushi more often. The main reason is that Kura Sushi has lower price increases compared to Sushiro. Recently, during this year-end season, they had a fair where some menu items were discounted. We tried the Bintoro (165 yen ➡️ 115 yen) and it was delicious! The thick and fatty Mackerel (115 yen) is unique to Kura Sushi and tastes great.

I love Xado Sushi. I had various limited edition melon parfaits as a dessert after enjoying sushi. I also had some classic sweets as snacks, followed by an iced coffee. Then, I had more sushi, ending with the limited edition melon parfait. The melon parfait at Kura Sushi was a bit pricier at 680 yen, but it was not too sweet and delicious until the end. Highly recommended!

The recent visit to Kura Sushi Nishijin store, which has always left a good impression, was a bit disappointing this time. The quality of the premium tuna seemed to have decreased. The seaweed on the Tekkamaki was cracked, and there also seemed to be less tuna inside. As a result, the taste of the tuna has weakened. I can't help but think that this may be due to the influence of the "Mugen Kura Sushi" (unlimited Kura Sushi). While it is a convenient conveyor belt sushi restaurant, I may need to observe for a while before visiting again.

I had Tanjiro's bukkake udon. It's a better deal than regular kitsune udon, but it's just regular udon. Overall, it's like eating at a conveyor belt sushi place. Maybe that's the strength of a chain restaurant. The service is standardized. It was a collaboration with Kimetsu no Yaiba, so the restaurant was filled with kids. Full concentration.

The shop rating during the visit was 3.04. Kura Sushi Nishijin Store is located in a densely populated residential area in Kamigyo Ward, and among the eateries in this area, it is a store with a spacious parking space. The sushi, of course, is delicious, and the side menu is also substantial, making it a convenient shop to visit. I couldn't help but use such a convenient store, but I had not been going there in the past because of the sloppiness of the food and the negative impression of the service. I had some business nearby and decided to stop by after a long time. The rotating sushi and the sushi I ordered were neatly arranged without falling apart. The tuna roll that had disappointed me the most before was cleanly cut, with the nori intact. It also seemed like there was more tuna in it. The sloppiness... completely gone! I enjoyed eating there. The lack of friendliness in the service remains the same, but nowadays, most conveyor belt sushi restaurants are like that. I guess I've gotten used to it, as I don't really think much of it anymore. My impression of the store has also changed, and I think I will be dropping by occasionally in the future. (^^)

The other day, my daughter and nephew begged me to take them to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, so we headed to Kura Sushi on Imadegawa Street with my brother's family. It had been a while since I had been to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, so I was a bit excited, but I couldn't match the full excitement of my daughter and nephew. The first thing that surprised me was how cheap the sushi was! This is what they call great value for money!! When I reached out for the sushi coming around, my nephew stopped me! He wanted to order using the touch panel provided because he said the ordered sushi was fresher and tastier. Truly a veteran (laughs). The quality of the sushi was overwhelmingly better than my previous impression! No wonder there's always a line. What surprised me even more was the variety of menu items other than sushi - tempura rice bowl, eel rice bowl, curry, and fried chicken. I felt like I was in a wonderland of food options. The drinks were different from what I used to drink as a child, with options like cassis chia seed. And the desserts were a mix of everything - shaved ice, chocolate cake, milk crepe, you name it! It was a day when my impression of conveyor belt sushi changed drastically. They also have regular specials, so I will definitely visit again. Thank you, Kura Sushi! (*^^*)

I have been a regular at the Nishijin location but this is my first time posting. I recommend making a reservation online as both locations have long wait times and crowded entrances. Can something be done about that? This time, I went to BTS Sushi and loved it!

I went for a lunch drink at a sushi restaurant. Despite some mishaps like receiving orders I didn't place or spilling hot tea, the staff who assisted me were very kind and I was grateful. I was drinking beer and sake, and among the seasonal premium series, I think nodoguro and aburi toro-saba go well with beer, while chutoro, hiramasu, and katsuo go well with sake. Also, I really like the tarako whitefish roe jelly in ponzu sauce and the thickly sliced shime saba. The creamy richness of the whitefish roe and the fatty richness of the mackerel are delicious beyond what you would expect for 100 yen. The new menu items, firefly squid and aburi sanma, were also delicious!

I always eat ramen, so it's nice to have cheap sushi once in a while^^* But I never really feel like eating sushi. I still prefer Chinese food (laughs)

I went around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The restaurant was crowded with customers. I was seated at a booth and watched the revolving sushi for a while. The basic sushi plates were 100 yen each, so you could order without hesitation. There were also various side menu items like soy sauce ramen, shrimp tempura udon, eel rice bowl, etc. The taste and quality were within the price range. It's convenient to be able to order your favorite items on a touch panel. The device for collecting the plates after eating was also interesting. Thank you for the meal.

The prices had gone up a bit, but it was okay for children to be a little noisy, so we could enjoy dining out without worry.

I went in for the first time in eight years. Hmm. Wasn't it this bad? The colors of the fish were also poor. I guess it can't be helped? It's only 100 yen after all.

We left at midnight and arrived at 7-11 Tateshina Bypass store at 2:00 for a break. We took a rest at the restroom parking lot near Okaya IC on Route 142. We had a nap at Komagatake SA at 5:30 and a break at Mino-Kamo SA at 7:00. We took the Tokai Ring Expressway to Tokai Hokuriku Expressway at Minozeki JCT to avoid traffic from Ichinomiya JCT, and got on the Mino Expressway at Gifu Toriba IC. We talked about having breakfast in Nagoya with my wife and ended up at a cafe that looked like a dining room, Cafe Wait Yumetime. We passed through Sekigahara at 10:30, and passed by Sekigahara IC in a daze. We got on the Meishin Expressway from Maibara IC, but due to traffic jams near Kusatsu, we escaped to the local road at Kusatsu PA. We took a break at the toilet in front of the gate of Tanotani Pass on Mt. Hiei Driveway at around 12:30, and arrived at my son's place at exactly 1:00. It was a 13-hour trip. So, after a long time, I had lunch with my son at a parking lot at Kura Sushi. We arrived at 13:10 and waited a bit inside the store before getting the first table. We had various items such as sushi, rolls, gunkan, chawanmushi, and miso soup, but the one thing we always order at Kura Sushi is the Shari Curry Udon. I love it. But more than anything, having a meal with my wife and three sons is... happiness in itself. I am very satisfied. I left no regrets or food. It feels good to eat and it tastes good, that's all that matters. Thank you for the meal. 3.02 ☆ 12 reviews

I went to try the discontinued menu "kitsune udon-style sushi" that was featured on Dare to Koko. It seems they used to have a limited-time menu like "doria-style chawanmushi" before. I had 3 plates and tiramisu, totaling ¥486. The kitsune udon-style sushi was difficult to eat. There was roasted seaweed on the plate, then sushi rice, and toppings, making it hard to pick up with chopsticks without tearing the seaweed. The taste was okay, but I'm not sure if I fully agree with it being a discontinued menu.
