I didn't have enough to drink, so I visited this shop for the first time tonight, and it's a very pleasant place. I opened two bottles of champagne, so the price was reasonable. The shop owner is a cute woman. Recommended for older gentlemen.

I visited on August 18, 2020, which is the day of the shaved ice. It's Tuesday. I ordered omurice. It was delicious, and I thought I would come back again. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also nice. I drank 4 glasses of tomato shochu highball and 1 glass of melon liqueur cocktail. I am extremely satisfied and feeling very happy. I want to come for lunch as well. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again. I will enjoy all the ingredients in this world with gratitude. I went to a bar in the direction of Kawaramachi for drinks. The place I was looking for was a bar where there is an egg sommelier. EGG BAR TAMAGO in Kyoto offers egg dishes made with local eggs. The shop was located up the stairs. The interior was nicely lit, with neatly arranged bottles and glasses. Two female staff members welcomed us. Egg-themed items were displayed at the counter seats. I started with a beer. The potato salad was tasty, with a cute boiled egg-shaped chopstick rest. It was a generous portion. There were three types of canapés, with eggs and pickles on top. A unique flavor. Then, something interesting appeared with the words "You can eat it when the smoke clears." The glass-covered dish was filled with smoke. I was excited to see what was inside. After a while, a smoked egg appeared. When the lid was opened, a nice smoky aroma filled the air. The smoked egg was creamy and rich in flavor. It paired well with beer. Most of all, the innovative presentation was interesting. After finishing the meal and paying, the staff escorted us downstairs. It's a lovely bar that makes you want to recommend it to friends. It was a fun experience.

It was more expensive than I expected after eating and drinking. Maybe because I ate a lot? Or maybe because the recommended menu didn't have prices listed? The potato salad and hamburger were delicious! They also had raclette. When I asked for a second helping of egg over rice, they served a different type of egg. It would be nice if they had egg sake or something similar. ☺️

I also received this and ate it the next day. Whether you like ripe eggs or not...!! It's a wonderful egg sandwich.
