This is the best value yakitori. It is located in Gion, so there are many tourists. The wait may be a bit long. We went around 9 pm and got in smoothly. It is right next to a tourist spot, so the location is very convenient.

I really like Torikizoku and often go there, and as expected from a chain restaurant, the quality is good. I had never tried kama-meshi before, but I heard it takes time so I decided to order it as soon as I entered. It was great with the crispy burnt rice, delicious broth, and firm rice grains. The yakitori was also delicious with juicy and large pieces. The drinks, like the mega highball, were also good. I will definitely visit again.

Overall, I didn't feel a strong desire to come back again.

Some may think, "If it's 280 yen, the portion must be small," but in reality, after a few sips, you'll realize it's a great deal. The staff, even the part-timers, provide excellent service. Have you heard of the hidden way to enjoy Torikizoku? When I went with a university student part-timer, we ordered cabbage. Just plain cabbage. The part-timer asked the staff for sesame oil and mayonnaise. Confused, I watched as the condiments arrived. "With these, you can eat as much cabbage as you want," he said. Intrigued, I tried it and found it to be a great palate cleanser. Since cabbage is all-you-can-eat at Torikizoku, you can actually fill up on it! Although I'm not planning to do that, as I'm of a certain age, I think it's a great option for a variety while enjoying yakitori.

Inside, the staff were working hard. I started with a draft beer for a toast. When I looked at the menu, I noticed that they seem to change it quite frequently lately. Everything is delicious, which is great (*^^*) I ordered a few dishes, and they were brought to me quickly. Even though it seemed busy, the speed of the food service was impressive. And as always, the food was delicious. I quickly finished my beer and switched to a Highball with Suntory Whisky. The standout point is definitely the affordability. Especially being able to drink Suntory Whisky at that price! That alone is a reason to choose this place (^^) It's also very convenient that they are open until morning. I'll definitely be back! It's a great place that I never get tired of, even when my workplace was in Saiin, I used to go there. It's always a go-to spot for me, especially when I'm low on cash. Yesterday, I got my bonus, and even though I thought of going somewhere nice, I ended up here again in the end. This time, we relaxed and chatted about work and other things before heading home.

I always think that the price, volume, and taste are amazing no matter how many times I come here. However, I wish they had some unique menu items that are only available at this Torikizoku location, since the menus are almost the same at every branch.
