A ryokan with a beautiful gate in the sukiya style. The elegant sliding doors and thoughtful arrangements create a serene atmosphere. Surrounded by cherry blossom trees, it must be stunning when they are in full bloom. I would love to visit again in the spring. We stayed for one night with friends, including breakfast. Our rooms were connected on the first floor, while our friends stayed on the second floor. The toilet, sink, and bath were outside the rooms. It was reassuring to know that they only accept one reservation at a time, ensuring privacy. We enjoyed soaking in the hinoki bath and sleeping on the warm futons. Waking up to fresh orange juice was a nice touch. For breakfast, we had a delicious meal on the second floor. The meal included Kyoto green tea, deep-fried tofu with daikon radish and mitsuba, sesame-flavored chrysanthemum greens and carrots, lily root with plum, grilled salmon, rice porridge, miso soup with simmered sweet potatoes, and assorted pickles. The coffee after the meal was light and pleasant. It was a delightful dining experience. Thank you, Ginza Iyuki, for your hospitality. We look forward to ordering your catering services in the future.
