It has been a while since the person I call my second father visited, and we had plans to have lunch together. However, my father had some errands in the morning, so we were planning to wait at home. But my uncle bought some food and brought it to our house. It was from a shop that I had often seen in the department store basement but had never purchased from before. When my father returned home, we all enjoyed the food.
The items we received were:
- Osaka Sushi x 2 (for father and uncle)
- Naniwa Sushi x 2 (for mother and me)
About the food:
- Osaka Sushi: A set of rolled sushi, anago pressed sushi, and three different types of boxed sushi.
- Naniwa Sushi: A set of over 10 different types of boxed sushi, with various ingredients such as shrimp, crab, mackerel, egg, anago, takana, shiso, salmon, kohada, and isono, garnished with yuzu and kinome.
Overall, the Naniwa Sushi was from a shop in Fukuoka, and despite the small size of the boxes, they were packed tightly and had a satisfying texture. The taste was normal, but considering the price, it was surprisingly affordable. The variety of flavors kept it interesting, and even without soy sauce, it was enjoyable. The flavors were strong, so it made me quite thirsty afterwards, but the satisfaction of eating sushi was worth it. The small and easy-to-eat sizes, along with the reasonable prices, make it a good option for outings or casual dining. It's a restaurant that can be used for everyday purposes.
