We visited for a late lunch. When we arrived, there were a few take-out customers and 1-2 tables already seated, but by the time our order arrived, the place was full. It took 10-20 minutes for our food to be ready since they fry it after you order. If it's busy, it may take even longer. We were surprised that it got crowded even though we came at a different time. I was really looking forward to trying the chicken, as I had it in Korea before, but unfortunately, it didn't taste as good as I remembered. We ordered the half & half, but the regular chicken was bland and the Yangnyeom chicken was just okay. It lacked the crispy texture, and I felt like I'd rather go to a big chain like KFC. The portion of the chicken was large, and we couldn't finish it all, so we bought a pack to take home. I don't usually eat tteokbokki, but it was surprisingly the most delicious part of the meal. It's not really a place to go alone due to the large portion of chicken. Also, they only accept cash. Overall, I don't think I'll be going back.

I used takeout service. I ordered plain and yangnyeom chicken, cheese balls, and cheese sticks. Highly recommended at Hocance!
