Thank you for viewing. As a specialty tempura rice bowl restaurant, I ordered the "Hannari Tempura Bowl" and the "Gochisou Tempura Bowl" with eel, as well as the "Chicken and Cream Cheese Tempura Bowl". You can get a free large serving of rice. There are a variety of tempura bowls available with various ingredients. The ingredients used are of good quality, and items like fresh wheat gluten are delicious in a Kyoto-style way, but the shrimp, smelt, and eel are all fried too much. They are crispy, but I think they need to be fried a bit less to bring out the quality of the ingredients. The temperature may also be a bit too high. The quality of the pickles and red miso soup is excellent, but with tempura like this, it's tough. The service was good, so it was disappointing.

I discovered a small shop in Kyoto. Despite being only a counter, it was packed even after lunchtime on weekdays. I had a colorful and delicious tendon bowl with lots of ingredients. The tendon, as the name suggests, had large prawns, bite-sized vegetables, and fried tofu on top, which you eat with a spoon. It's fun to taste different flavors in each bite. The prawns were thick and juicy, providing a satisfying bite. They also have unique tendon bowls like eel tendon, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

It's a cozy and stylish cafe-like shop, but it specializes in tempura rice bowls. I ordered the "Hannari Tempura Rice Bowl" and it looks very Kyoto-like and beautiful. The raw wheat gluten is cute. There are over 10 types of tempura such as shrimp, pumpkin, eggplant, and shishito peppers, all of which were delicious.

I was doing it alone, so it took quite a long time to come out. The amount was huge, more than I expected (lol). I think it would be more fun to push harder.

Hannari Tendon had a Kyoto-like, stylish atmosphere, so I thought I had to try it once. It seemed like they also offered takeout. There were a few seats available. The special selection had a strong flavor. It was delicious!

The restaurant is located along Shijo-Higashi Street, but it is slightly far from Yasaka Shrine. The exterior does not have the typical appearance of a tempura rice bowl restaurant. It seems like a place that took over an existing space. The presentation of the dishes is vibrant and colorful, possibly aiming for Instagram-worthy photos. However, it lacks impact. The taste is neither delicious nor bad. It seems like something is missing, perhaps a lack of impact.
