It's been a while since I've been here and the menu now includes soft serve ice cream! Just like having soft serve ice cream after potato chips, it makes you want to have it after eating ramen. The Chicken Salt Ramen for 820 yen was delicious as always! The flavor of Shibazaki-tei, with chicken and seafood, really hit the spot. It was cool how the lid of the trash can opened automatically.

I arrived at the restaurant around 5pm without having to wait in line. I ordered the onion ramen with soy sauce and chashu rice. The food arrived in about 3-4 minutes. The clear soup, rare chashu, and onions provided a delightful texture without being too spicy. The thin noodles complemented the soup well and were delicious. The restaurant had a clean and welcoming atmosphere that even women could feel comfortable in. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

Umegaoka SHIBASAKITEI+ "Chuka Soba" I visited this ramen shop the most last year, about 14-15 times, and today is the last day as Umegaoka branch of Shibasakitei. I ordered the basic "Chuka Soba" with soy sauce, which has a well-balanced soup rich in chicken flavor, straight medium-thin noodles perfect for slurping, thick slices of pork shoulder loin, extra thick menma bamboo shoots, and green onions. It was incredibly delicious! Today's business hours are until 10pm with a ¥100 discount, and they will reopen as Setagaya Seimenjo from September 1st. Thank you for the meal!

Near Umegaoka, there is Shibazaki-tei. I was able to enter easily without waiting in line, but soon after there was a line forming outside. They are about to renovate, so the menu was limited, but I tried the salt wonton. It was salty but flavorful, with delicious wontons in a tasty soup. Good soup is always a treat. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Shibazaki-tei today. It was fortunate to have the last meal there before it moves to a different location next month. Visit time: Holiday evening around 6:30 pm Access: About 1 minute walk from Umegaoka Station Congestion level: No wait Time inside the restaurant: The interior was spacious and had a stylish and calm atmosphere. Ordered dish: Wonton Ramen with Salt, 1200 yen (tax included) Serving time: About 5 minutes Payment method: Cash ◯, Electronic money ◯ Ordered the most popular salt ramen. It came in a unique octagonal bowl, and the golden soup was sparkling and very beautiful. The strong aroma of dried fish broth wafted even before eating. The noodles were slightly thin and straight, with a surprisingly chewy texture. The wonton toppings were large, with 5 or 6 pieces, providing a satisfying feeling. The char siu was cooked at a low temperature, making me a bit worried if it was undercooked, but it had a firm texture. The lightly flavored soup was not tiring, and I could finish it all. From next month, it will become a ramen specialty shop, so this might be the last chance to taste this flavor. I rarely visit this area, but it was lucky to have the opportunity to eat there by chance.

Visited the restaurant after about a month for a well-deserved ramen treat. However, there was a notice posted outside announcing a renewal where they will specialize in soy sauce ramen starting from September. Unfortunately, my favorite tantanmen was not available that day, so I had soy sauce ramen with green onions, menma, and wonton toppings instead. The soy sauce flavor was rich and the overall harmony of the dish was excellent. When I asked the staff about the possibility of tantanmen making a comeback, they said it was unlikely or even impossible, which was very disappointing!

Wantan dried fish Chinese soba salt 1100yen. Arrived on a weekday at 8:30pm, no waiting in line. Served in about 5 minutes. The soup has a main flavor of mild dried fish with a hint of dried ingredients like kelp for depth. The smell of dried fish oil is strong but the taste is light. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with a smooth and chewy texture. There is a generous amount of noodles. There are about 5 wontons with a flavorful pork filling. The chashu is lightly seasoned. Overall, it is very light in flavor. Those looking for a stronger punch should try the dried fish black or onion Chinese soba.

This is my first visit. I ordered the dried fish salt wonton ramen and the green onion soy sauce ramen. They were very satisfying with generous portions. They were delicious. Next time, I would like to try the regular salt ramen or the tan-tan noodles.

In July of the 23rd year, I visited a ramen shop called Shibazakitei, located about a 1-minute walk from Odakyu Line Umegaoka Station, at their second (or maybe third) branch in Tsutsujigaoka Station. I had been wanting to visit this place since it opened. I had spent half a day visiting craft beer shops and was looking for one last meal, so I decided to walk about 20 minutes to this shop. Even though the location was different, I had high hopes for this shop. The interior was spacious, with 12 seats surrounding the kitchen, and jazz music playing, creating a calm and adult atmosphere. I carefully selected my order at the ticket machine outside, then took a seat at the second chair from the back of the shop to wait. I ordered the Shio (salt) ramen for 850 yen. The soup was a light brown color, with straight thin noodles, thick slices of roast pork, chunky menma (bamboo shoots), and a little green onion. The salt flavor of the soup was rich and well-balanced, with no overwhelming taste, just a concentrated essence. It was delicious and satisfying. The noodles were the same firm and chewy straight noodles as the main Shibazakitei branch, with a satisfying texture. The meal was finished in about 10 minutes. While I usually eat soy sauce ramen at the main branch, I was glad to discover that the salt ramen was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited after work. Last order at 21:45 is a lifesaver. I ordered the Women's Wantan (salt) with flavored egg topping. I usually go to the main store in Tsutsujigaoka, but I was curious about the flavored egg that is not available at the main store, so I ordered it. Despite being a smaller size for women, it was quite filling! The taste is excellent, just like the main store. The interior is spacious and stylish compared to the main store. I will definitely come back!

This is my first post. I entered the restaurant around 15:30 and found a spacious and clean space, which was unusual for a ramen shop. The owner was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered the most popular dish, salt-based ramen with wontons and topped with bamboo shoots, along with a side of white rice. I received my order within 10 minutes of handing in my ticket. The soup had a strong bonito flavor and was light in taste. Personally, I prefer richer flavors, so I found it a bit lacking. The wontons were plentiful and delicious, and the bamboo shoots were tasty as well. If I come back, I'll try the soy sauce ramen next time.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Odakyu Line Umegaoka Station. Arrived at 2:45 PM on a weekday and was able to be seated immediately. The weather was sunny. Today, I ordered the limited edition Tai Shio and Sansho cold noodles. The noodles arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. The moisture from the eggplant interfered with the soup, so I found the eggplant unnecessary. If they were to include it, perhaps deep-fried would be better. For the finishing touch, poured the soup over rice for a Tai Chazuke-style dish.

[Shibazaki-tei Umegaoka Store] / Umegaoka Wantan Niboshi Ramen (Salt) 1,200 yen [Price] 1,600 yen per person [Visit Time] Visited around 21:20 on a holiday [Waiting Time] Visited without waiting time [Menu Received] Wantan Niboshi Ramen (Salt) 1,200 yen Ginger Butter Soy Sauce Rice 400 yen Impressions Hello, Shibazaki-tei+ in Umegaoka has been renovated and powered up! This is Gurumania. Shibazaki-tei+ has changed its name and reopened as Shibazaki-tei Umegaoka Store. It was temporarily a soft serve ice cream shop, so I didn't go there for a while! However, when I was working at home and looking for a good ramen shop nearby that was open until around 22:00, I hit the jackpot! I thought it wouldn't be crowded, and if they had chilled Chinese noodles, I definitely wanted to try it! So I visited around 21:20! I really like this appearance! The interior is also cool, with a J-shaped counter that doesn't look like a typical ramen shop! And I was thrilled to see that the ticket machine was QR code compatible! The chilled Chinese noodles were sold out, so I chose two recommended items. I was served in less than 5 minutes after sitting down! ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎ Let's eat ◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎ Wantan Niboshi Ramen (Salt) Oh, it's irresistibly beautiful. The fine noodles, this cool bowl, and the transparent soup are like a painting. First, I took a sip of the soup. Oh, this clear taste with the flavor of niboshi and the hot soup locked in oil. And this beautiful noodle, thin but really chewy, entwines well with the soup! Delicious!!! Next is the wantan! It's unique! The roughly minced meat wrapped in the skin is so soft and enveloped in happiness! The chashu is slightly rare and the texture changes as it cooks in the hot soup over time! Ginger Butter Soy Sauce Rice This is it! It blew my mind! It's like nothing else! Butter on the rice, ginger, minced meat, and thick menma on top. When you drizzle soy sauce on it, it's unbelievably delicious and one-of-a-kind! It's truly perfect! ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎ Thank you for the meal ◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎ It was just amazing, as always, Shibazaki-tei! I want to go again soon! And when I looked it up, I found out that it's affiliated with Tanakarobo! I'm impressed! I have started to post more detailed photos and text on my blog! Please take a look! I tried the recommended onion ramen for 900 yen. I was torn between getting it with salt or sansho pepper, but since it was my first time at the restaurant and it was recommended, I chose the salt option. The noodles were a bit dry and the chashu had a lot of fatty parts or seemed a bit tough. The presentation looked great and the smell was appetizing, but the taste wasn't really to my liking. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice with a big TV and a cafe-like vibe. Thank you for the meal.

After two months, I treated myself to my favorite ramen at Shibazaki-tei in Umegaoka, as I usually follow a low-carb diet. When I arrived around 11:30 am on a weekday, the place was full with a waiting list of three people. I was seated within 4-5 minutes. I always love to order the tantanmen, while my partner chose the sea bream salt and sansho pepper cold noodles. Tantanmen lovers should definitely try the tantanmen here. I haven't had a similar style elsewhere. The super creamy sesame sauce with spicy oil drizzled on top, along with the coarsely ground minced beef and green onions, creates a bold flavor. The noodles have a strong wheat taste that pairs well with the creamy sauce. The extra bamboo shoots are thick and flavorful, and the wontons are bouncy and filled with delicious ingredients. The limited-time cold noodles were very light, as mentioned. Personally, I choose the tantanmen 90% of the time at this restaurant, but the soy sauce-based ramen is also recommended for its rich flavor.

I had the soy sauce ramen with green onion. The appearance was great and raised my expectations. The taste was mainly salty, lacking sweetness or richness. Personally, I feel this ramen has a sharp flavor profile, perfect for those who prefer savory over sweet. Thank you for the meal.

On Friday, I served as a lecturer at two seminars again. I gave lectures for 2 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the afternoon, and during the lectures, I only drank water and did not eat. After it ended, I started thinking about where to have lunch, but it was already 3 pm and many places were on break, so I couldn't decide. In the midst of this, I remembered about Shibazaki-tei's Umegaoka branch. I recalled that the main branch in Tsutsujigaoka was open all day, so I thought the Umegaoka branch might be the same. I went there and bingo! It was open all day. I entered and struggled a bit with the touch panel ticket machine, but managed to buy a ticket. This time, I ordered soy sauce ramen (¥850) with flavored egg (¥200) and a highball with moist throat (¥400). The menu seemed to have increased quite a bit since I visited the main branch. The jazz music playing inside the restaurant and the J-shaped counter seats were nice. When I asked if they could give me less noodles, they immediately said, "Sure!" It's nice when they are accommodating like that. As I was taking a picture of the highball, they brought out a black coaster, saying it might look better with it. Before I knew it, the bowl arrived. The clear soup was as good as ever. The large, tender chashu was delicious. The thick menma, like corner pieces, worried me if it would be too hard to chew, but it was soft. The noodles were also delicious. This type of ramen is my favorite. It was so delicious. But I remember that when I had it at the main branch during New Year's six years ago, it was only ¥580. I guess the cost of ingredients has gone up. But it was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal!!!

Average rating of 3.68 out of 6/10, no waiting at 12pm on Saturdays. Recommended dish is "salted dried fish". Toppings of seasoned egg and bamboo shoots are priced at 200 yen each, slightly on the expensive side. Noodles: Slightly chewy Chinese-style noodles. The taste and texture are not bad. The broth is on the lighter side. Soup: Not too strong in dried fish flavor, not too thick, overall tasty. Seasoned egg: Mild flavor, normal richness, normal texture. Bamboo shoots: Firm and satisfying to eat. Char siu: Thinly sliced pork that feels more like ham or bacon. Delicious, but felt less harmonious with the ramen. Overall impression: "Salted dried fish" is the recommended dish at the restaurant, but personally, I might prefer the soy sauce (only experienced at the main branch).

I had some errands in Umegaoka, so I decided to try out Shibazaki-tei, a place I've been wanting to eat at for a while. I went there around lunchtime on a Saturday and was able to get in without waiting in line. I purchased my meal ticket from the machine and was seated right away. I placed my order and received my food within 3-4 minutes. Since it was my first time at this restaurant, I went with the simple choice of soy sauce ramen. The menu had so many options that I wasn't quite sure what their specialty was. When my bowl arrived, the soup looked even more beautiful than I had imagined, and when I took the first sip, it was delicious! I was really impressed. As I started eating the noodles, I noticed that the flavor seemed to diminish as I ate more. Even when I added pepper halfway through, the taste didn't improve. I struggled to finish the meal. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or maybe the quick service from entering to receiving the food affected my experience. Looking around, I noticed that many people were ordering the salt ramen. If I have the chance to go back, I'll try the salt ramen next time.

The most popular Wonton and Dried Fish Chinese noodles for ¥1,200 was ordered, but it was brought 20 minutes later. The restaurant was not full, and other customers were already served before me. I overheard the staff saying that they had mistakenly served my ramen to another customer, which explained the long wait. There was no apology for the delay. Due to the delay, I cancelled the soft-serve ice cream I had ordered. The visual presentation of the ramen was lovely as expected. The wontons were delicious as mentioned in reviews, but after eating 2-3 of them, I started to feel heartburn. It didn't sit well with me, perhaps due to the oiliness or the meat. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. I won't be returning.

Visit since the renovation on 22/3. Honestly, I'm not sure what has changed, but I think the ticket machine is new. They offer about 10 types of soy sauce or salt-based ramen, with seasonal limited menus like Oyster Sansho Soba, so it seems fun to come every month. I ordered the Niboshi Black Ramen (900) with Wonton (300). They are open all day, so it's easy to come by and the spacious counter with jazz music playing is relaxing. Several customers were savoring their soup slowly, and it was nice to see them enjoying their meal. The kitchen in the back, visible through the glass, does not let the smell or heat of the soup reach the seating area, but you can still hear the sound of noodles being cooked carefully. They provide freshly ground pepper when the ramen is served. Although I expected a stronger soy sauce flavor to match the image of Toyama Black, it was not that strong. The flavor of the dried fish and soy sauce-based soup is enhanced by the freshly ground pepper. The low-water noodles here also combine well with the soup, and the texture of the diced onions soaked in water adds to the combination. The large, moist chashu complements the taste, creating a high level of completion. The menma has a weaker texture than it looks, but it doesn't add too much to the already light flavor of the soup. The meat filling of the wonton covers about 1/3 of the skin area. The coarse ground texture with cartilage and the ginger flavor match perfectly with the soup. It's no surprise that some people enjoy the wonton with beer. I look forward to revisiting and trying the cold dishes as it gets hotter.
