This is a popular kushikatsu restaurant in Kyoto. Kyoto Kushikatsu, here you go! Kyoto Kushikatsu and sake, sure thing! This is a new concept where for 100 minutes, unlimited kushikatsu is served until you signal to stop. And not only that, it also includes 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink. Each table comes with a server for enjoying table-side sours. You can mix plain, lemon, grape, and pickled ginger syrup to create your favorite sour. In addition to soft drinks, sake, highballs, shochu, and plum wine, all self-service. Since it's still newly opened, the price is currently 3000 yen including tax. Side menu items are an additional 380 yen. (Edamame, kimchi, cold tofu, potato salad, quail simmered in soy sauce, cabbage, curry, rice, octopus with wasabi, addictive cucumber, ochazuke toppings, salt kelp, fukujinzuke, etc.) These are also included in the all-you-can-eat for 100 minutes. The order starts with freshly fried ingredients. When I visited, it started with eggplant. Below are some of the items I had: Kyoto eggplant, mozzarella cheese, beef tendon with miso sauce, salmon, takoyaki, young corn, chicken tenderloin, taro simmered in soy sauce, squid, lotus root, quail sausage, simmered daikon radish, fish cake, cheese, chicken thigh with green onions, shiitake mushrooms, pickled ginger, asparagus, bacon, octopus with seaweed, ginkgo nuts, yomogi fu, sweet miso, pork loin, shiso leaf, eringi mushrooms, Kyoto grilled tofu, sago, beef loin, onion, ham cutlet, scallop, pork belly, cheese, okra, quail simmered, kiss fish, shiso leaf, Kyoto bell pepper, pork belly, shrimp, hanpen fish cake. I went through two rounds and finished. Items marked with a star were my favorites. I enjoyed them with salt, curry salt, sansho pepper salt, dashi broth, pickled ginger, yuzu ponzu, and sauce. This way, you never get tired of the flavors. I made a kushikatsu rice bowl by placing kushikatsu on top of rice and topping it with sauce and pickled ginger. I also made a kushikatsu tea instead of tencha. I mixed kushikatsu, ochazuke toppings, and hot water to make it. It would taste even better with dashi broth. Overall, the food was delicious, the restaurant had an open atmosphere, the wall art was interesting, and it was a fun experience. Since it's still new, they are open to feedback from customers to improve their menu and service. Prices may change slightly as they make adjustments based on feedback.
