Ordered a Chicken McNugget Happy Meal (520 yen) with a small size of McDonald's fries (160 yen). Also got edamame corn, orange juice, and mustard sauce for the nuggets. This time, aiming to complete "The Super Mario Brothers Movie" series. Got a Mario Kart toy, which didn't run very well. However, all the food was satisfying. While originally intended for children, the Happy Meal was enjoyable for adults as well, with delicious contents that left us satisfied.

After eating ramen at Karasuma Oike, I had some time to spare and wanted to do some work, so I searched for a cafe with outlets and found a McDonald's! What's McDonald's like in Kyoto? It had a slightly dim lighting that felt Kyoto-esque, haha. I ordered my usual Coke Zero and looked for a seat, where I found a single seat with an outlet. When I sat down, I noticed that each seat had a number for mobile ordering, so you can order from your smartphone. It seems like they have that system now, probably to avoid long lines. I think it's a good system. The menu itself hasn't really changed.

It's really hot lately, isn't it? Summers in Kyoto are unbelievably hot, with this high temperature and humidity. I wonder if it was this hot in the old days too! Did they manage without air conditioning back then!? Kyoto's summer is quite tough physically compared to other parts of Japan. When you lose your appetite in the summer, it's not good, so let's eat heartily! If you're going for something hearty, it's gotta be a hamburger! So I decided to come to McDonald's here. It was quite crowded inside during Sunday lunchtime. But if you're dining alone, you can easily find a seat, and even if the line is long, with mobile ordering, it's a breeze! Plus, at McDonald's, the crew members bring your food to your table, which is really convenient and appreciated. When it's hot, you strangely crave spicy food, so I ordered the Spicy Double. I'm not really into Gundam, but it seems to be quite popular.

McDonald's at Karasuma Oike is a good spot for a power outlet cafe. I had a Big Mac after a long time. I sometimes crave it, you know? The sweet and sour Aurora sauce goes well with the crispy lettuce. And of course, I had a Coke with my burger and fries, opting for the Zero version for a little peace of mind. This store has a central counter with limited table seating, making it suitable for solo diners. Each counter seat has its own partition, and there are plenty of power outlets available, making it convenient for those who want to work on their laptops. The person next to me was busy working on their computer. It was a relaxing lunch in the cool interior. It made for a nice Sunday.

Located right near Karasuma Oike Station. I stayed in the area for work and used their takeout service. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. I tried the Samurai Mac for the first time, and was surprised by the generous portion size - even just the single item was filling enough. It was delicious.

Great COVID-19 measures in place, comfortable atmosphere, and convenient for takeout with parking for bicycles.

The Morning Mac is good. I wish the iced coffee had a bit more in it. The hash browns have gotten quite small.

I had an Egg McMuffin set at McDonald's for the first time in a while. The hash browns were delicious too.
