This is a gourmet report near Kanda Station (lol). This time, I visited the Awajicho main store of the popular YouTuber "susuru.TV" recommended on a certain TV program, "MANNISH," a salted ginger ramen specialty shop. Walking straight from the north exit of Kanda Station at the intersection of Kanda Police Street towards the Tsukasa intersection, then turning right at the Family Mart convenience store, the restaurant is located there. It took about a 5-minute walk, not the shortest route, but easy to find even for first-time visitors. When I visited around 1 pm on a weekday, there were some empty seats at the counter, so I was seated right away. You first purchase a meal ticket with the kind guidance of the staff. The interior of the restaurant had around 11 counter seats. This time, as it was my first visit, I decided to order the following: 'Salted ginger ramen with wontons ¥1,100' and 'Drooling chicken rice ¥300'. The walls of the restaurant were decorated with signatures of famous people, including a signature from susuru.TV. Since it was a counter seat, the incredibly good smell of ginger from the kitchen in front of me raised my excitement. On this day, there were only two staff members, the owner and a female staff member, operating, but they appeared in less than 5 minutes! Oh!! This is it!! The incredibly delicious one I saw on TV!! (lol) The clear and beautiful soup exuded a great ginger aroma! The wontons were of the large, filled type, and the chicken chashu also looked incredibly delicious! The drooling chicken rice was as delicious as its name suggests! I immediately took a sip of the soup, and oh~! I felt a shocking deliciousness from the salted ginger soup! It was so delicious that I couldn't help but exclaim "Delicious! Delicious!" and took several more sips. The aroma of wheat from the thin noodles was also good, and with each sip of the soup, I could enjoy the ginger aroma. Each time I lifted the noodles, I could feel the ginger aroma even more strongly. The wontons and chicken chashu were incredibly delicious, so I recommend adding them as toppings! Highly recommended! The meat filling of the wontons was packed, and the skin was smooth and had a good texture, making it incredibly delicious! The chicken chashu was tender and flavorful, making it incredibly delicious! After eating a certain amount, I tried the drooling chicken rice! This was an incredibly delicious bowl, and I recommend ordering it! The spicy sauce on top of the rice and the chicken had an excellent compatibility and were incredibly delicious! Moreover, I was surprised by the amazingness of the salted ginger soup in this bowl! The combination was also excellent, with the bowl and the soup not interfering with each other as you alternated between them. Before I knew it, I had finished the delicious meal! I recommend the delicious salted ginger ramen that keeps customers coming back with offers like a free bowl after 10 visits or limited menus after 5 visits or more! It was incredibly delicious! Even though many shops around here close early around 9 pm on weekdays, it's great that this place is open even after 8 pm! The Salted Ginger Ramen with Wontons is ¥1,100 and the Drooling Chicken Rice is ¥300. It was my first time trying Salted Ginger Ramen, and it was quite delicious! Also, the Drooling Chicken Rice was really tasty! The wontons were average, so next time I'll try ordering the flavored egg instead.

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 on Sunday with no wait (it quickly became full afterwards). As far as I know, it's the best ginger ramen. The ginger flavor was strong until the very end. I almost drank all the soup. If I'm nearby, I will definitely visit again.

I had been curious about a salted ginger ramen specialty shop for a while, but never had the chance to go nearby and try it. I arrived at the shop a little before 12 o'clock. The inside was full, but I was able to sit down in about 10 minutes. I purchased my meal ticket first, handed it over, and then waited for my seat while the cooking began, so my food arrived in just a few minutes after sitting down. I chose the "Salted Ginger Ramen" and the "Chicken Wasabi Rice". The noodles were medium thickness and straight. They were a beautiful amber color and had a rich chicken broth with a gentle flavor combination of ginger, which was very delicious. The chicken chashu had a substantial texture. While many ramen shops serve rich rice dishes, the chicken wasabi rice here was light and easy to eat alongside the ramen. It was so delicious that I found myself wishing they would make it into a set meal.

I tried a rare ginger-based ramen restaurant! I had the seasonal cold oil soba and the regular salt ginger ramen. The cold oil soba was carefully made, with the flavor and temperature changing as the broth ice melted. The noodles were also soft, which I liked!

They are open from 11:00 to 21:00, and if you go outside of peak hours, you won't have to wait in line. Please note that they only accept cash payments, no electronic money or QR code payments. Ordered Dish: - Salt Ginger Ramen with Flavored Egg (¥1,000) Review: - A comforting ramen with chicken broth and ginger flavor. - Light yet you can taste the chicken and ginger flavors distinctly. - They have ginger vinegar on the side, so changing the taste midway is recommended. - The noodles are thin and slightly soft, giving a good impression. - The chicken chashu was delicious in its simplicity. - The flavored egg was perfectly cooked with a soft center. I went to a shop in Ogawa Town thinking of eating seaweed water tsukemen, but it was super crowded. So, I went to MANNISH nearby instead. Just to let you know, after finishing here, I went to the previous tsukemen shop and there were only 3 people in line, so I was surprised. At MANNISH, they offer regular salt ginger ramen and tsukemen. On that day, they also had a limited edition "cold salt ginger oil soba," so I tried that. First, I enjoyed the oil soba with lots of jelly, chicken, fried onions, and then came the ginger paste! When I had the oil soba alone, I didn't think it had much ginger flavor, but when you add this, it's a whole new level! I was really satisfied more than I expected.

Ogawa-cho Station is about a 5-minute walk away. I visited around 6 pm on a weekday. There was no wait, so I was seated right away. I ordered the limited cold corn, and as I melted the corn ice on top, it became even richer and sweeter, very delicious. Cold corn, 2023 Yakitori Rice Bowl, Super Dry Beer.

I wanted to try the limited corn ramen, so I decided to drop by. I arrived around 1:30 pm on a weekday and was able to get in without waiting. I was excited to try the corn ramen, which I haven't had much before. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the ramen was served beautifully! The soup was like corn potage with chopped onions, refreshing and flavorful, and the noodles were chewy! There were grilled corn, corn in sherbet form, grilled cheese, and raisin bread, each offering different flavors and textures, making it a fun experience. Normally, I can't finish the soup when eating ramen, but this corn ramen was so delicious that I scooped up plenty of corn and finished the soup. I would love to have it again when the season comes around!

I saw someone else's post and thought "this must be delicious," so I went there that day. I arrived at 13:30 and the counter was almost full. First, I dipped the bread in the cream and ate it, then I mixed and ate the frozen soup in the middle. Oh, it was so delicious. It's only available until next week, so if you see a photo and want to try it, hurry up because after that, it might not be available until next year... if at all. I enjoyed it very much.

Although this is a store specializing in ginger ramen, this ramen has a soup that you can drink smoothly without feeling the ginger. By the way, my daughter had the ginger-rich ramen, so I will also post a photo of that (3rd photo). It is a soup that warms your body with a good amount of ginger. Now, about the corn ramen, the noodles are firm with a strong texture, which goes well with the soup. The corn granita sitting in the middle has a crunchy texture, adding a refreshing feeling to the whole dish. The corn kernels, chopped early red, smoked cream, and bacon bits provide a beautiful color and enjoyable texture. Additionally, the chocolate danish and baked cheese served on the side offer an interesting taste when dipped in the soup. The chicken thigh meat is plentiful and very satisfying. Today marks my first visit to the relocated main store, and I will be trying the limited edition ramen called "NAO's Cold Corn 2023." This ramen is a cold noodle soup created by staff member NΔO, featuring a corn potage-like soup with ice cream and baked cheese toppings. NΔO, a ramen enthusiast who works at various ramen shops as a side job, is known for creating unique and creative limited edition dishes. I visited this ramen shop for the first time after drinking at a nearby izakaya before 9 pm. I bought the salt ginger ramen from the ticket machine on the right side as soon as I entered. I sat at the L-shaped counter and waited. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. It looked beautiful, the soup was delicious, and it tasted even better when I mixed it from the bottom and added the ginger. The ginger soup on the table was also nice. However, I'm not a fan of chicken chashu. If possible, I would like to try this ramen without the chashu next time. That's how good the soup and noodles were. It was crowded even though it was close to closing time. It's perfect as a final ramen dish. Thank you for the meal.

At the salted ginger ramen specialty shop MANNISH in Awajimachi, NAO's Cold Corn 2023 has arrived again this year. nyao's Corn series has become a summer tradition with its creative toppings like corn ice cream, smoked cream, Danish pastry, and baked cheese. In August, I tried nao's cold corn 2023 and wasabi chicken rice, with medium-thin straight noodles. I visited around 6:30 pm on a weekday and there was no wait. It operates on a ticket system. ■Shop Introduction Before I knew it, I found myself craving for Manish. I personally like the light and refreshing style, so I have been coming back to this ramen place multiple times. I have tried their ramen in Kameido a few times before, and also visited their kombu noodle shop in Asakusabashi. This time marks my third visit to a Manish shop. ■Visited Time Saturday, 12:00 PM. Even during the Obon period, they were open for lunch. How grateful! ■Food and Impressions Ginger Ramen with Wonton - 1,100 yen. I purchased it from the ticket machine. The "Special" ramen that the person next to me was eating had something like whipped cream on top, and I thought that looked nice, but I didn't know which button to press on the ticket machine to get that ramen, so I ended up going with the classic style. The bowl looked stylish and the round noodles resembled pasta. The clear broth had a gentle ginger and sweet chicken oil flavor. The green onions and sprouts added a spicy kick, and stirring in the grated ginger at the bottom made it spicier. The moist and hearty chicken thigh chashu was satisfying to eat. The ginger vinegar allowed for flavor variation, and I didn't get tired of it until the end. Despite being described as light and salty, the saltiness was moderate, making for a sharp and refreshing soup. ■Atmosphere Two young men were running the shop. There were only counter seats, and there were also female customers. They made sure to greet the customers, making it a comfortable environment. Manish's signature caution signs were also present.
