A new side dish soup shop has opened. It seems to be a collaboration between French Chef Maekawa and Vegetable Sommelier Nishimura. They offer frozen soups. On the day of my visit, I tried three varieties: sausage and vegetable pot-au-feu, sweet soy sauce flavored meat and potatoes, and meatball and daikon miso soup. The seasoning was a bit light, but the soups were full of various ingredients and truly felt like a "side dish." They seem gentle on the body and will be handy as the weather gets colder. I look forward to trying more varieties in the future.
