I visited with my mother at 16:28 on a Saturday, after reading a review on Mailevi and bookmarking it. Initially, I was planning to try the dried fish tsukemen, but when I saw the recommended Asari soba for 980 yen on the ticket machine, I became interested and purchased a ticket to hand to the staff. We sat at the counter and waited. There were various customers, both men and women. At 16:40, the Asari soba was served. The noodles were thin and had a firm texture. The soup had a rich Asari flavor and was very delicious. The dish had three types of chashu and was quite simple with just a piece of seaweed on top. I think it would be great for those who like Asari. Thank you for the meal.

People often do not pay attention to the shops on the familiar streets unless they have a specific purpose in mind. The same goes for this restaurant. Prince, who frequently walks around Shinjuku, was looking for a delicious tsukemen (dipping noodles) shop and discovered this place just a little off the usual path. On a pleasant afternoon, with the summer sun softening, he entered the restaurant located on the 2nd basement floor of the station building without much of a wait. He ordered the rich dried fish tsukemen in large size for 950 yen. Tsukemen doesn't feel guilty somehow, as you only dip the noodles in the soup, which means it's mostly just the noodle's calories. Prince's computer calculated that if you leave some soup behind, the calorie count is quite low, almost close to zero. The tsukemen here is classic but beautifully presented. The noodles are neatly arranged, and the large pieces of seared chashu pork, as well as the generous chicken chashu, are a delight. The noodles are firm with a good bite, making it a satisfying experience. The rich dried fish soup is flavorful but not overpowering. Squeezing some kabosu citrus adds a refreshing touch to the taste. Finally, Prince finished the meal by mixing in the remaining soup. He always admires the genius who came up with the idea of adding roughly chopped onions to the soup, as it adds a nice texture and cleanses the palate. Thank you for the meal. By the way, Prince tried to watch his calorie intake by ordering a large portion of tsukemen, but finishing the soup completely kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

The recent popularity of Momijigari is incredible. There are about 7 waiting chairs outside the shop, but they are not enough, so people are lining up. I'm so happy to see my favorite Momijigari gaining popularity! Today, I wanted to try the curry tsukemen, but I ended up choosing the spicy seafood tsukemen in extra-large size. The addition of sudachi adds a nice accent and brings out the deliciousness of the noodles. The soup contains soft simmered bamboo shoots and plenty of thinly sliced roasted pork, making it very satisfying. The komatsuna is crunchy, and the flavored egg is soaked in flavor, making it a blissful dessert-like experience. There are many different types of tsukemen available, but Momijigari, which always serves a top-notch bowl, is definitely on its way to becoming a top 100 shop. Thank you so much for always serving delicious tsukemen. Thank you for the meal!

I had the special dried fish tsukemen for 1,300 yen. I went underground in Shinjuku in search of tsukemen after a long time. From above, I went down from the Isetan intersection, near the police box. From underground, it was directly connected to the C2 exit towards the Toei Shinjuku line. Since there was a line, I bought a meal ticket first and waited outside for a bit. I sat down and the tsukemen arrived. Thick noodles with a slightly tangy soup. The chashu in the soup and the chashu served with the noodles were both delicious. Lastly, I enjoyed the soup split at the pot on the counter.

I arrived at the restaurant at 13:45 on a regular day and had to wait for about 5 minutes because the inside was full. I ordered the Dried Fish Tsukemen for 950 yen with an extra 300g of noodles. The noodles were a medium-thick, smooth type commonly found in tsukemen. The dipping sauce had a good balance of the bitterness of dried fish, the depth of seafood, and the richness of pork bone. It was a typical rich tsukemen that was hard to compare with other shops. I am used to going to shops that focus on homemade noodles and kelp water even for tsukemen, so I felt a little unsatisfied. From now on, I want to explore more shops that specialize in rich tsukemen.

First visit for some reason? The area around Shinjuku Station is full of B-class gourmet options... I usually enjoy morning ramen when I travel, and Shinjuku seemed a bit limited, so I decided to try something new. By the way, morning ramen culture is thriving in Akita and Shizuoka, but Fukuoka is out of reach because they are open until morning. It should only take a few minutes to walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station, but it took me about 15 minutes because I'm from the countryside... This ramen shop is located on the B2F of a commercial building. The name "Hyakunichikou" made me think of "Sarusuberi" instead of "Sennichikou," which is a type of plant. I have a bad impression of this plant because I had a bad experience with its bark peeling when I was a child... I arrived at 8:10. There were about 5 customers already there. The morning ramen was 500 yen, with a choice of salt or soy sauce. I chose the former. It arrived in about 5-6 minutes. Here are my thoughts on the meal: [Soup] Light chicken broth with dried fish? ★ It might be perfect as a morning broth. [Noodles] Thin and curly ★ Good flavor for the price, and I liked the texture. [Toppings] Chicken breast chashu, green onions, clams ★ The chicken chashu was a bit dry... Overall, I think it's a good value. If you have the chance, try the soy sauce ramen too.

Located in a corner of a building directly connected to the subway station, this small shop has only a counter. I was prepared for a long line as it was right in the middle of lunchtime, but I was relieved to find that the line was shorter than expected. It wasn't too hot while waiting, so it wasn't a bother. I ordered the special, which came with three types of char siu, four slices, boiled egg, nori, and a full lineup. The noodles were thick and chewy. The dipping sauce had chopped green onions floating in it, with no unnecessary decorations. Inside, there were chopped char siu and bamboo shoots. It was well-balanced overall, and I could feel the attention to detail. The final soup refill was prepared in advance on the counter, slightly cooled. It was delicious with a strong bonito broth.

This is a ramen restaurant located on the underground second floor of the station building connected to Shinjuku-sanchome Station, which has good access to Tokyo Metro's Marunouchi Line, Fukutoshin Line, Toei Subway's Shinjuku Line. I visited around 2 p.m. on a Sunday and there was a line of more than 10 people. I ordered the Special Niboshi Tsukemen (1300 yen) in large size, as both regular and large sizes were the same price. The thick noodles were topped with seared char siu, slow-cooked char siu, chicken char siu, flavored egg, seaweed, and pickled radish. The dipping soup was a rich niboshi (dried sardine) broth. Inside the soup, there was also a long piece of bamboo shoot and char siu. It was a flavorful tsukemen with plenty of toppings and delicious dipping soup.

The heat of summer has finally started to calm down a bit, so I decided to visit Momijibeni, a restaurant known for its delicious tsukemen. They offer rich fish and thick dried sardine options on the ticket machine. The spicy tsukemen has gone up in price again to 1,100 yen, which is a bit expensive. But considering the recent price increases, it's understandable. I went for the large serving of hot noodles as usual! The tsukemen arrived promptly, and it seemed like the spiciness had mellowed out a bit. I slurped it up eagerly, enjoying the taste of the wheat noodles. The finishing touch of soup with chopped green onions was excellent. Despite the price increase, it's worth it. I'll definitely come back again! It's hot, but the staff is working hard.

"Hyakunichigou" is a ramen restaurant located in Shinjuku Sanchome, which is listed in the top 5000 on Tabelog. They offer a morning ramen for 500 yen starting from 7 am, but today I tried their most popular dish, the special niboshi tsukemen for 1300 yen. The fish-based soup made with hikone niboshi, kombu, chicken bones, and pork bones is rich with a sweet taste followed by a strong niboshi flavor. The thick noodles specially made by Mikawa-ya have a smooth and chewy texture. The seared pork chashu stands out and is delicious, while the chicken chashu is refreshing. The bamboo shoot tips are also good. It was delicious. I visited for lunch on a regular day. I arrived around 1:30 pm so there was no line. I found out that "百日紅" is pronounced as "さるすべり"! It's such a lovely name. I ordered the tsukemen by choosing the most popular option from the ticket machine. The three types of chashu were a nice touch and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Found it! Located a short walk from Shinjuku Sanchome towards Shinjuku Gyoen, on the left side of the underground passage. Renowned for their rich and flavorful dried fish broth dipping noodles, Sarusuberi is a popular spot with a wide variety of menu options. I recommend their special rich dried fish broth dipping noodles for 1300 yen, which you can order from the ticket machine. Despite the usual long lines, I was able to get a seat quickly for a late lunch today. Finally, the bowl is served! The beautiful thick noodles are topped with a luxurious assortment of char siu, chicken, and seasoned egg, shining brightly. Let's dig in! The flavor is even richer and more robust than I expected, with the thick noodles creating a perfect harmony. The large pieces of char siu are tender and juicy, making for an exciting lunchtime experience. Rating on Tabelog: 3.68, Tabelog TOP5000, Opening hours: 11:00-23:00, Closed on New Year's Day, Payment: Cash only. #noodlegram #Sarusuberi #dippingnoodles #richdriedfishbrothdippingnoodles #dippingnoodlestokyo #Shinjukuramen #ShinjukuSanchomelunch #Shinjukulunch #ramenlover #Tokyoramen #shinjuku #Shinjukugourmet #ramentokyo #NoodleSarusuberi

Specialty (All Toppings) Dried Fish Broth Tsukemen 1300 yen A dried fish broth tsukemen specialty store located in Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku. I went to "Menya Momijikou" located on the B2 floor right outside the C2 exit of Shinjuku-sanchome Station! This time, I ordered the specialty (all toppings) dried fish broth tsukemen. The tsukemen comes with a free large serving (300g)! The specialty (all toppings) dried fish broth tsukemen combines a rich soup made with Hira-ko dried fish, kombu, chicken bones, and pork bones, with special thick noodles from Mikawa-ya Seimen! The dipping soup has a rich umami flavor with a sweet seasoning, while the umami of the dried fish stands out, giving it a unique and deep flavor compared to the typical rich fish and pork bone broth! The thick noodles have a smooth surface and a chewy texture, with a rich wheat flavor that pairs well with the rich dipping soup! The special toppings include pork belly chashu, beef chashu, sous-vide chicken chashu, seasoned egg, kaiware, nori, and more piled generously on top of the noodles, with thin pork chashu and bamboo shoots in the dipping soup! The pork belly chashu is seared before serving, giving it a fragrant taste, the beef chashu is rich in flavor, and the chicken chashu has a juicy texture, making it a triple chashu delight with a satisfying bite! The seasoned egg was perfectly cooked and seasoned! The menu is very diverse, and after trying the dried fish broth tsukemen, I wanted to try other items as well! The direct access from Shinjuku-sanchome Station is also very appealing!

The proud feature is the soup made by simmering carefully selected ingredients such as thick noodles, dried sardines, kelp, chicken bones, and pork bones for a long time. I ordered the rich dried fish tsukemen last time, but this time I tried the garlic salt tsukemen for the first time. In conclusion, it was excellent! [Report] ☆ Garlic Salt Tsukemen 1,050 yen First of all, you can choose regular or large size, so I chose the large size! The noodles are the usual chewy thick noodles. It's a happy point that not only the chashu on top of the noodles but also inside the soup is full of meat. The soup is a type that I personally like, not too thick but rather light and smooth. As the shop recommends dried fish, the unique taste of dried fish x garlic is distinctive. A bowl that will become addictive, no doubt about it! Thank you for the meal!

I visited this ramen shop for the first time because it had high ratings on Tabelog! Unlike many ramen shops that close early in the evening, this one stays open late so you can go after work without feeling rushed. There wasn't a long line, but there were people waiting for seats. You buy a food ticket first and then wait to be seated. I ordered the special seafood tsukemen (extra large). I was seated right away after ordering. Overall, it was just an average tsukemen. The seafood soup had thin menma, vegetables on top of the noodles, and a variety of meats. The meat didn't seem to be cooked well and had a tough texture, making me hesitant to eat it raw. It's best not to have high expectations for the meat.

I had the Thick Niboshi Tsukemen (dipping noodles) in large size for 950 yen. I was happy to see that regular size and large size were the same price. The soup was on the watery side, but the flavor of the dried sardines was strong. The onions in the dipping sauce added a nice touch. Personally, I prefer a richer flavor, but I still enjoyed the refreshing taste. The noodles were chewy and delicious, the best part of the meal. If I ever go back, I would like to try the mixed noodles.

I was drawn to this restaurant because of its convenient location directly from Shinjuku Sanchome Station. It seemed like many people were enjoying tsukemen around me. The food was delicious, but not enough to leave a lasting impression. I decided to take a break from ramen after eating it frequently.

I always used to buy the spicy tsukemen from the ticket machine and get it with extra noodles and hot soup, but for some reason I ended up with a paper for the dried fish spicy tsukemen in my hand... Huh? There were two kinds? A little surprised, I looked at the ticket machine and saw that there was a separate dried fish spicy tsukemen from the usual rich spicy tsukemen! Well, I decided to try the new one. It was delicious as expected. The flavor of the dried fish was unique and indescribable. This kind of tsukemen is also available here, which is meaningful at Hyakunichiso. I want to try various things in the future. On a side note, my colleague who I brought along said he was a regular at the 500 yen morning ramen, which made me laugh. Thank you for the meal!

I had a lunch meeting scheduled, so I was able to adjust my lunch break time and took the opportunity to visit the restaurant. I was really torn on what to order, but I ended up choosing the special soy sauce ramen with dried sardines. It's a classic soy sauce ramen. The broth had a clean and refreshing taste with a nice depth of flavor, without any overpowering fishiness. The noodles were not too soft or too firm, just perfect. Both the chicken and pork chashu had a great texture and flavor, and the seasoned egg was not overly sweet. The only downside was that the menma was a bit tough as it was the base part of the bamboo shoots, but overall, the ramen was delicious with plenty of green onions as garnish. I look forward to trying their tsukemen next time.

This is a ramen shop located in the underground of a building directly connected to the station. They offer a good amount of noodles and there are quite a few female customers as well. There are condiments like fried green onions available on the table. Personally, I found the portion size and taste to be decent, but I feel like it could use something extra to leave a better impression.
