I sat at a table for two and ordered a small shrimp salad, Arrosticini (Australian lamb skewers), Penne Arrabbiata, and a decanter of white wine (250ml). I had the small shrimp salad with white wine. I don't usually drink wine, so I don't know, but it was dry and drinkable. I like lamb, but it wasn't delicious because of the price. I became full with the Penne Arrabbiata and slightly tipsy. I got off at Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line and found a Saizeriya on the second floor of a building right next to the station. Saizeriya seems to be opening more and more stores on the second floor or underground. Classical songs are playing in the background. Let's choose from the lunch menu. I used to always eat spaghetti with meat sauce, so this time I decided to have Napolitan. I ordered the homemade ketchup sauce Napolitan for 500 yen. I wrote the number on the slip and handed it to the staff. This system ensures no misunderstandings or mistakes, which is reassuring. Let's go get some soup and water. The salad has arrived. While eating the salad and soup, the Napolitan arrives. I sprinkle plenty of cheese on top and enjoy it. It is made with ketchup sauce, wiener, mushrooms, and is sautéed. It has a chewy texture. I didn't feel the same lack of satisfaction that I did when I ate the meat sauce spaghetti the other day. Maybe sautéing has a positive effect on spaghetti? I get a soup refill. They have their own tomato farm in Sendai, and the house wine is made exclusively for Saizeriya in Italy. The company's dedication is evident. They define delicious food as food that you can eat every day without getting tired of it, and they try to avoid strong seasoning to bring out the ingredients from Southern Italy. Although the cooking in Saizeriya's kitchen is minimal, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal. While it may not be the same as having a skilled chef cook in front of you, the company's sincere pursuit of providing customers with high-quality food at low prices is commendable. It was a chilly day in Kyoto, with a constant drizzle, feeling like a cold winter day. My wife and I had been hooked on Saizeriya recently and decided to do some shopping at BAL before coming to this restaurant. This time, we had: - Garlic Grilled Mussels - Fresh Cheese Tomato Salad - Spicy Chicken - Oven-baked Escargot - Shrimp Cream Gratin - Spaghetti Parmesan Style - Set Petit Focaccia - Large Red Decanter We enjoyed delicious dishes while sipping red wine. The food was as delicious as ever. It was a lunchtime full of enjoying various flavors. The Shrimp Cream Gratin seemed to be a new addition and was incredibly tasty with its rich creaminess. The Spaghetti Parmesan Style was also delicious. We had a leisurely lunchtime savoring the food and wine. The Escargot, Grilled Mussels, and Spicy Chicken have become our go-to favorites. It was a satisfying and filling meal.

I visited around 7:30 pm on Sunday. It was quite crowded, unlike weekdays when the restaurant is usually not as busy. We were seated quickly, but the tables were a bit cramped. We ordered pizza, pasta, and the drink bar. As usual, at Saizeriya, you have to search for mistakes until the food arrives. The pizza seemed a bit smaller than before. The amount of pasta was the same as usual. The drink bar had the usual selection. During the meal, something hit my shoe, and it turned out to be a knife! I was surprised, but the staff quickly apologized and took it away. I couldn't figure out how a knife ended up near me. Despite the crowded seating, the staff were prompt in clearing our table after we finished eating, so it wasn't too uncomfortable. I was impressed by the service for a Saizeriya. I will visit again.

I love Saizeriya♪ I was craving gratin, so I decided to go to Saizeriya. My thoughts after eating it were delicious!! It exceeded my expectations. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I went there. I just wanted to have a quick and simple gratin. I have tried various other menu items before, but this gratin was a huge hit for me. First of all, it comes piping hot! It was so hot at first that I couldn't eat it right away. I like to eat it little by little. The bacon had a salty flavor that complemented the gratin perfectly. The portion size was a bit small, but as someone on a diet, I actually appreciated that. I also had multiple refills of cappuccino and carbonated water from the drink bar. It's great that they have carbonated water at the drink bar. It contains no calories, so I could drink as much as I wanted. I enjoyed adding lemon juice to the carbonated water for a refreshing twist. I ate the gratin, drank from the drink bar, and leisurely read magazines. It's nice to be able to relax in a family restaurant without feeling rushed. Most of the other menu items are delicious too, and the restaurant is clean with spacious tables. On Sunday around 10 PM, my friend and I decided to grab dinner near my house. It had been a few years since we last met, so we wanted to try a variety of dishes. We ended up ordering a lot and here's what we got: mixed grill with soft-boiled egg, carbonara pizza with salami and pancetta, spicy chicken, shrimp salad, Milan-style doria. We were so full! Everything tasted good, although the spicy chicken wasn't actually spicy. The prices were reasonable, and my friend enjoyed a glass of white wine for only 100 yen. Great value for money! The total bill for the two of us was around 2900 yen. Such a good deal! Thank you for the meal!

When it comes to Saizeriya, the best thing is their cost performance. However, recently their menu seems to have been downgraded, which is disappointing. I used to love the small shrimp cocktail salad and escargot baked in the oven, but the salad has become smaller in size, which is very sad. I used to enjoy eating that big salad all by myself... The salad with prosciutto is also gone, and my excitement keeps decreasing. Other dishes I often order are the cod roe sauce Sicilian style, spaghetti aglio e olio, Milanese-style doria, mixed grill, iced tiramisu, and trifle ice cream. It's quite a feast. I also used to like the cold pumpkin soup, but it's gone now, which is sad...
