It was a hot day and night in Kyoto in August 2021, with hardly any lights in Pontocho. Due to time constraints, I planned to quickly slip in, but it was so dark in Pontocho. I won't say "shu...ku..." because I'm aware. Since it was close to closing time, I was able to have a brief one-on-one drink with the master.

When I visited, there were many foreign tourists inside, speaking various languages. It seems they have regular live performances in the store, so I would like to go next time. The master and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The food seemed good too, but I was already full so I just had some drinks and left.
