This is a newly opened cafe located 2-3 minutes walk from Kawaramachi Station in Kyoto, along Takasegawa Street. Inside the cafe, you can enjoy a cafe menu while listening to record music. It seems to operate as a bar at night. The first time I visited, Utada Hikaru's music was playing, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, the second time, K-POP was playing, which was a bit loud for a cafe setting. They may be changing the music to suit the clientele. The volume seemed a bit too high for a daytime cafe, so it might be better to lower it. Their specialty is a donut topped with butter, which is slightly torched before serving. The butter is Calpis butter, giving it a sweet and salty taste. Drizzling maple syrup on top makes it even more delicious. This menu item seems to be popular among younger customers, creating a somewhat bustling atmosphere. Since there aren't many non-chain cafes near Kawaramachi Station, it's a good place to take a break. The interior has a cute atmosphere, and with a bit of adjustment to the music and volume, it could become a very cozy place to hang out.

I went to a cafe that my friend brought me to, and I found out that they use Kurs's doughnuts! I was so excited and ordered a doughnut (Calpis butter topping) for ¥700 and a grapefruit juice for ¥400. The doughnut was incredibly delicious! It was the best doughnut I've ever had. It was soft and chewy but had a light texture. It was the complete opposite of dryness, it was moist and fresh! It was so delicious that I was moved by a doughnut, I already want to eat it again. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the cafe, but I was so impressed that I want to go there alone!

However, the donuts were delicious and I finished them quickly. It's fun to watch the donuts being toasted with a burner at the counter seats. They play records, and when I went, they were playing songs by Utada Hikaru and other retro songs.
