Located in the Ramen Street in the basement of Tokyo Station, this restaurant used to be in Kudanshita a long time ago, where I once waited in a long line to eat. This was my first visit to this location. It was a Sunday, and all the eateries in the underground mall had lines, including this one with about 5 groups waiting. However, the turnover was quick, and we were seated in about 15 minutes. Before lining up, you purchase a meal ticket from the machine outside the restaurant. They had unique options like light, rich, garlic, and sea urchin mixed ramen, but I decided to go with the popular "Rich Tokyo Station Ramen" (1,180 yen). The interior had counter seats and a few tables, with limited seating. The ramen was ready in about 10 minutes after being seated. The double soup blend of animal and seafood flavors was indeed rich as advertised, but the balance was perfect, leaving a delightful aftertaste. The slightly firm, thin noodles paired well with the broth, making it delicious. The soft-boiled egg, tender bamboo shoots, and melt-in-your-mouth chashu were all perfectly cooked, making it a high-quality ramen overall. The price may be on the higher side being in Tokyo, but for refined ramen in Tokyo Station, this place is highly recommended.

During a business trip, I visited the restaurant called "Ikaruga" at Tokyo Ramen Street for the first time. I avoided the crowds and visited at 2:00 PM. Luckily, there was only one person waiting outside the restaurant! I quickly purchased the recommended menu item, the rich Tokyo Station Ramen, from the ticket machine and waited for about 3 minutes before entering the restaurant. After a 5-minute wait, the ramen was served! The combination of seafood and tonkotsu broth was exquisite. Although it looked very rich, the taste was surprisingly gentle and not as heavy as expected. There were vinegar and soy sauce on the table for seasoning, but I enjoyed it without adding anything.

After-drinks final drink! The seafood ramen for 1,200 yen is the standard price in Tokyo. The soup has a good balance of animal and seafood flavors, with a taste that is reminiscent of Niigata. It was lacking in salt, but I was able to inject some nutrients with the soup!

I lined up in a row. The soup had a light back fat, so it lacked aroma and was mostly just noodles soaked in fat. The bamboo shoots, chashu, and boiled egg were decently tasty. But with the ramen as the base being like this, it didn't excite me. I stopped halfway. Disappointing.

I felt like eating ramen at Tokyo Station, so I came here. There was no line at 8:00 PM, so I was able to get in right away. There were more than 20 people waiting in line at Rokurinsha, so I gave up. The number of inbound tourists has really increased. I ordered the popular No.1 dish, the rich and creamy fish and pork bone double soup ramen for 1,180 yen. It came with two slices of chashu with just the right amount of fat. The standout feature of this ramen is the long bamboo shoot menma! It used to surprise me in the past. It also had naruto, green onions, nori, and crunchy arare as accents. The combination of straight noodles was interesting. I've been eating a lot of rich and light soy sauce ramen lately, so this ramen didn't have much impact on me... The arare was fragrant, but the texture was lacking. The egg had the perfect amount of saltiness and was served at the right temperature. However, the price of 1,200 yen for this ramen is quite high, maybe it's the Tokyo Station price. The cost performance is not great. Thank you for the meal.

Near the Shinkansen exit of Tokyo Station, there is a ramen shop inside Ramen Street. Before 7 pm, there were about 7 groups waiting in line. I ordered the most popular rich seafood pork bone ramen. It had large bamboo shoots, tender chashu, boiled egg, seaweed, naruto, and rice crackers on top, and the ramen was delicious. However, it wasn't exceptional enough for me to wait in line for it again.

Just before lunchtime, I went to this ramen shop alone and was quickly seated at the counter. You buy your meal ticket before ordering. The shop is mostly counter seating, so it may not be suitable for families with children. I expected something lighter based on the name, but was surprised when my bowl arrived. It was very oily. The soup was a mix of seafood and pork, with a balanced and smooth taste. The bamboo shoots and pork slices had a satisfying texture. It's no wonder this place is popular. However, it might be a bit too oily for some people. But maybe that's what makes it delicious. The lingering feeling in your mouth, those who like it, really like it. It was my first time trying it and it was a learning experience. Thank you for the meal. Thank you.

I was torn between the Garlic Super Rich and the Rich Tokyo Station Ramen in the upper left corner, but I ended up choosing the latter. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I heard that the upper left option on the ticket machine is recommended. The ramen was very thick and creamy, with no noticeable presence of anything other than animal-based broth. I will try a different menu item next time!

I was able to enter the restaurant around 1 pm without much of a wait. They use a ticket system. I ordered the Super Rich Tokyo Station Ramen for ¥1230, with medium thick straight noodles, 2 slices of chashu pork, 2 pieces of bamboo shoots, 1 flavored egg, 2 seaweed sheets, and 1 naruto fish cake. The broth was a rich pork bone base with seafood elements. The soup was a bit lukewarm at first, but got slightly hotter as I got closer to the kitchen. The flavor was soy sauce-based, slightly salty with a lack of depth. I added a few drops of the tableside soy sauce with kelp to enhance the taste. The chashu pork was tender and had a good thickness. The bamboo shoots were long and slightly tangy. The flavored egg was quite strong in taste, almost too salty. Personally, I couldn't give it a 3.5 rating, so I settled on a 3.0. I might try a different restaurant next time.

Around 8 o'clock, there were still 6 people waiting in line. I bought a meal ticket and waited for about 10 minutes. I chose the rich Tokyo Station ramen for 1,150 yen, with the ticket indicating the top left. I was served immediately after being seated. The bowl included a seasoned egg, prominent bamboo shoots, seaweed, chashu pork, and naruto fish cake. The broth was a rich soy sauce tonkotsu, paired with medium-thick straight noodles. It was delicious, although the saltiness was a bit strong. Another satisfying meal today.

Ramen is a foreign concept to my alcoholic mother. She doesn't understand anything about the ingredients or whether it's free of additives. For her, it's all about whether she likes the taste or not! As someone who loves Aoba ramen, I used to enjoy this shop that was once known for its Aoba-inspired ramen, and I would eat there regularly. But... what happened to Ikaruga today?! After about a year and a half, when I tried it again, the taste was completely different!!! Were the noodles always like this??? The noodles were quite lukewarm from the moment they were served, and they were either overcooked or undercooked, I couldn't tell. The soup was thicker than usual, with a very weak flavor and yet a strong greasy feeling. Even adding Rishiri kombu vinegar didn't help. The only delicious parts were the tender char siu and the sinachiku. As someone who loves seafood tonkotsu ramen, this was once my favorite shop in Tokyo Ramen Street... but after just 5 bites, I had to give up.

I don't want to come to Tokyo Station on weekends. But sometimes I have to come because I have errands to run... On a rainy Saturday like this, how about having some sea urchin? So, after 9 years, I decided to give it a try.
Sea urchin mixed noodles @ 1000 yen: Ah, this is it. The taste of sea urchin I had as a child from a jar. Of course, at this price, it doesn't have the sweetness of fresh sea urchin in saltwater. But that's okay. This sea urchin sauce has more than enough flavor for me. I mixed and coated the noodles thoroughly, and slurped it all up in one go. The noodles have a firm and chewy texture. Alright, sea urchin charge complete! A simple and satisfying bowl to replenish my sea urchin cravings.

I visited around 1:30 pm on a weekday. There was a line, but I was seated after about a 5-minute wait. I ordered the most popular item on the ticket machine, the "Fish and Pork Bone Rich Tokyo Station Ramen." When I tried it, the soup was thick and rich, but not too heavy. It had a complex mix of flavors that harmonized well and didn't leave a bad aftertaste. The noodles were medium thickness and straight, with a good chewiness that paired well with the soup. The pork was moist and tender, the seasoned egg had a runny yolk, and the bamboo shoots were soft with a slightly sour taste. It was my first time trying fish and pork bone soup ramen, and it was a new discovery for me. It's not heavy, so I think it's easy to eat for first-timers like me and satisfying for those who are more experienced with this type of flavor.

At Tokyo Station's Ramen Street, every place is packed with long lines during lunchtime, which is no surprise considering the famous shops there. Rokurinsha is definitely the most popular. On this particular day, I decided to line up at a shop I had never heard of before. I bought a ticket from the vending machine and patiently waited in line. The staff took my order before I sat down, and by the time I was seated, my ramen was almost ready. The broth was a mix of chicken and tonkotsu flavors, with a thick consistency that reminded me of a potage soup. It had a gentle taste that didn't overpower with oil or salt.

Located just a 1-minute walk from the Yaesu Central Exit of JR Tokyo Station, this restaurant is situated within Tokyo Ramen Street. I visited around 7:30 pm on a weekday and there were 9 people waiting in line outside, with no one waiting inside. This shop is famous for its double soup of tonkotsu and seafood. I visited "Kudan Ikaruga" in August 2013. When I visited the new location "Kudan Ikaruga Ichigaya Main Store," it was closed for renovations due to the opening of a branch in Tokyo Station. After the Ichigaya Main Store closed down, I decided to visit the Tokyo Station location. I purchased a ticket for the "Rich Tokyo Station Ramen (1180 yen)" from the ticket machine and lined up. The ticket was collected halfway through the line. It took about 10 minutes to enter the restaurant. I sat at a table and there were about 20 customers ahead of me. There were 4 men in the kitchen and 2 staff members in the dining area. Water was provided at each table. The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. The soup was a golden color. I took a sip and found that it had a rich flavor with a base of animal (especially pork) and seafood broth providing depth. It was quite thick but lacked a bit of umami flavor. The overall dish was quite rich with a slight viscosity but not very salty. The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles cooked slightly firm with a good chewiness. However, the soup and noodles felt somewhat disconnected. The toppings included 2 slices of thick and flavorful chashu, half a seasoned egg, large bamboo shoots, a sheet of nori, and some green onions. Towards the end, I added soy sauce with bonito flakes and pepper for a stronger flavor. Feeling a bit bored, I added vinegar for a refreshing taste. I finished the meal. The place was crowded with inbound tourists and visitors. Thank you for the meal.

I visited on a regular Tuesday night. There were about 10 people waiting in line. I waited for about 20 minutes before entering. I was torn between ordering the classic dish, but ended up ordering the rich one. The taste was too strong for me, and to be extreme, it only tasted like pork bone without any seafood flavor. I tried to adjust the taste, but it didn't help much. If I have the chance, I would like to try the classic dish and visit the main store to complete my experience.

[Shop Location] Directly connected to Tokyo Station B1F Ramen Street
[Visit Date] Holiday around 10:15 am
[Busyness] Managed to get in without waiting. It was quite crowded at this time, so I imagine it would be really busy during lunchtime.
[Order] Rich Tokyo Station Ramen (¥1,180)
[Impression] Today was right in the middle of the Obon holiday, but it was still quite crowded. Bought a meal ticket outside the shop, and the ramen was served in about 4-5 minutes after sitting down. The double soup with seafood and animal flavors was very rich, but not too heavy, and I finished it all with a smile. The medium-thick noodles matched well, and overall it was delicious. The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the menma was also very well-cooked and tender? Personally, I liked it. The arare? was also unique, adding an interesting texture accent. Thank you for the meal today.

[Order] Rich Tokyo Station Ramen: 1,180 yen (tax included)
I tried Ramen Street inside Tokyo Station for the first time! It was a holiday, so all the shops had pretty long lines, but I decided to visit this shop which had a relatively short line. I have never been to the main store, so there are some aspects I can't comment on, but the "Rich Tokyo Station Ramen" with maximum toppings was an excellent pork bone soy sauce ramen! This is delicious. It's a ramen worth waiting in line for a bit. I would like to visit again!

The thick soup seems to be made from pork bones, but it is not greasy or smelly at all. However, the noodles were not cooked enough. The toppings include chashu, green onions, bamboo shoots, naruto, and pork fat. Despite the delicious soup, the noodles didn't quite match well, so I wasn't satisfied in the end.

- I was planning on not eating ramen today because I've been eating too much of it recently, but once I saw the words "Uni Tokyo Station Maze Soba," I couldn't resist going in. It was delicious, but with the thickness of the noodles, it was almost like eating pasta.

After purchasing a meal ticket, I lined up. The lines everywhere are brutal. I guess I have to wait. I tried the limited Garlic Town Rich Tokyo Station Ramen. It was delicious but different from what I expected, haha. Well, it's good once in a while. Finished by adding yuzu shichimi pepper. Thank you for the meal.
