I often see a stylish creative izakaya that has been renovated from a traditional townhouse on the recently opened SNS. The imaginative menu structure is so fun that I had trouble deciding what to order. The counter seats were interesting in how the dishes were served. Despite the elaborate presentation, I found the prices to be reasonable. This is a great place for a date. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went on a trip to the Gion Festival from Kanto and went to the restaurant without a reservation, passing through the crowded streets of Yoiyama. It was quite crowded, but I wonder if it's popular because of the spacious interior. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food was like izakaya menu. If you imagine it as robatayaki, it might be a bit different. The flavors were all strong, with a kind of artificial taste, so it seemed like a good place for company drinking parties or year-end parties. It may not have been a restaurant to go to for sightseeing in Kyoto, but it was nice to be able to sit down quickly on a hot day and have beer served quickly! The service of drinks and food was fast and good!

Once you leave the market, turn right and you'll find a Kyoto-style townhouse with a very calming atmosphere inside. The menu offers a variety of options that young people and foreigners would enjoy. As someone who mainly drinks, I found the place a bit too stylish. The sake was served in a cute Mt. Fuji-shaped cup, and the harami (skirt steak) was tender and delicious.

The counter seats are recommended for dates! All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, so it was visually appealing and tasty. Cocktails like the Fuzzy Navel with real oranges in them were a hit. However, the portion size of each dish is not very large, so if you want a hearty meal, it might be better to try a different restaurant.

I visited a restaurant where I could enjoy a course meal and all-you-can-drink for ¥5500. There were various drinks available such as sours and fruit liqueurs. We placed our orders by scanning a QR code with our smartphones. I ordered a cold salad, cold mixed kimchi, chicken karaage & fried potatoes, homemade bacon-wrapped grilled skewers, seafood grilled skewers, vegetable grilled skewers, and meat grilled skewers, followed by grilled rice balls for dessert. I thought the food portion might be small, but since we could enjoy a variety of drinks, it was fine. Thank you for the meal!

Recently visited a new robatayaki restaurant. Ordered the charcoal course for 5500 yen (with all-you-can-drink). The food was served cold and the drinks were very slow to be provided. The last grilled rice ball was clearly microwaved. There was a poor balance in the number of male and female restrooms, causing a line for the men's restroom.

Renovated a 90-year-old Kyoto townhouse into a new NEO robatayaki restaurant. The menu is full of colorful dishes with lots of vegetables, making it very popular among women. They offer a wide variety of dishes including meat, fish, and vegetables, all in just the right portion sizes for sampling different items. Some recommended dishes are the tender black wagyu beef with grated yam sukiyaki, corn tempura, shishito pepper yakitori, and onion butter grill. The vegetable dishes are so delicious that you can easily get full on veggies alone. The sashimi platter is fresh and tasty. Other dishes like cheese dakgalbi and matcha yuba tofu milk ramen were also satisfying. Although I could only try a few dishes dining alone, I wanted to try more like the tamagoyaki skewer and steak. If it were closer to my home, I would definitely be a regular customer. I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit to Kyoto. They also have a special offer of Cafe de Paris sparkling wine for 2,800 yen, perfect for a girls' night out.

I passed by this restaurant before it opened and it caught my attention. I made a reservation for the second day after it opened, and it was already quite crowded. When I entered the restaurant, there was a large showcase! I really like this kind of atmosphere! The menu was extensive, with a variety of meat and vegetable options. Everything was delicious, and I ended up eating a lot, but there were still more things I wanted to try, so I will definitely go back again. The staff were generally energetic, but there were some part-time staff who seemed a bit unmotivated, which was a bit disappointing. I hope that the lively atmosphere and quality of service will continue until my next visit. If they have a course menu with all-you-can-drink options, I would definitely consider using it for a work gathering. ☺︎

I visited this newly opened restaurant today, but unfortunately there was a long line of customers waiting outside. The inside of the restaurant was also bustling. It seems like the restaurant is quite spacious, so it should be good for large groups. I will make a reservation next time and look forward to enjoying the food. A few days later, I finally got to visit. I couldn't take photos of the food due to work. The first appetizer served was crispy fried tofu with matcha miso. I prefer it a bit softer. You order by scanning a QR code with your smartphone. The carpaccio of the month was made with amberjack. The vegetables were fresh and the dish was good. The potato with truffle cheese was a tasty snack that went well with beer. The A5 wagyu beef and Tanba shimeji mushroom with sauce was cooked in a sweet and savory sauce, similar to sukiyaki. The uni tofu... that's the one from that famous chain, right? I'll try making it at home. The Kyoto beer with matcha had a strong matcha flavor with a refreshing bitterness. The grilled hormone with plum at a machiya was refreshing with the sourness of plums. The sea bream and pickled turnip ochazuke had gently cooked sea bream and the acidity of pickled turnips was a nice finish.

On May 26th, a new teppanyaki restaurant opened✨ The restaurant is located in a renovated traditional Kyoto townhouse, with a spacious interior and even a second floor, creating a lovely atmosphere☺️ The menu is extensive, offering a variety of delicious options including meat, vegetables, and seafood. The individual-sized hot pots are just right for dining alone, or sharing different dishes with others. My recommendations are the Wagyu beef yakiniku rice bowl (825 yen), Wagyu beef and Kujo green onion sukiyaki hot pot (1045 yen), and A5 Wagyu beef yakiniku with potatoes (649 yen). Although all my recommendations are meat dishes, they are reasonably priced and incredibly delicious - a must-try! The flavors are so good that you won't be able to stop eating, and the vegetables are also delicious, so I highly recommend them too✨

I was excited because I had been curious since the opening, but it was more ordinary than I expected... The overall rice was not particularly delicious, and personally, I was not impressed. Despite having a splendid grill, the grilled rice balls were completely frozen and were just lightly seared after thawing, which was surprising and disappointing. However, the grilled squid legs were extremely delicious, so I recommend them!
