Late-night ramen shop! I thought the seared miso ramen must be delicious, so I decided to try it for the first time as a late-night meal (^○^) I bought a meal ticket at 11 p.m., but there were two groups waiting in front of me. I waited for about 15 minutes sitting on the flower bed in front of the shop... I ordered the flavored egg miso ramen for 1,100 yen. The soup was slightly spicy! I like spicy food, so I added extra red pepper to make it spicier...!! The soup was surprisingly light. (I was expecting a thick, rich soup) The noodles had a good chewy texture! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I tried the limited edition dried fish mixed ramen. The seasoning was good, and the noodles were cooked to my liking. The overall quality was not bad, and it was enjoyable to eat. However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend going all the way up the hill to Dogenzaka just for this. Unless you're in a very specific situation where you really want to try it without waiting in line.

Grilled special miso ramen for 1,200 yen. Medium rice for 160 yen. The ground meat and miso flavor in this ramen were delicious. The topping of bean sprouts was tasty. It would have been nice to have the option for individual toppings. The chashu was tender from being simmered. The most surprising part was the garam masala on the table for topping. Despite the rich flavor of the miso soup, when added, it transformed into a curry, giving me a doubly delicious experience.

I wanted to try ramen other than Ebisu, so I chose this miso ramen shop in Shibuya for my first visit. As the name suggests, the "charred miso" ramen had a hint of a charred smell. The miso flavor was lighter than I expected, perhaps due to the charring. I wanted to order the special with all toppings, but couldn't find it on the ticket machine, so I settled for the flavored egg. The flavored egg was delicious. The noodles didn't seem to mix well with the soup, perhaps because the soup was light, but I managed to finish it. There was a foreign woman next to me eating vegan ramen, which looked visually appealing. There were also a few other women dining alone, so it seems to be popular among women.

I arrived at the restaurant alone on Friday night around 10 pm. I bought a meal ticket at the storefront and was able to sit at the counter without waiting. Luckily, there was a seat available as it started to get crowded. I ordered the special seared miso ramen for 1200 yen, which was served shortly after. I was surprised by how quickly it was prepared. However, I found the aroma of the seared miso to be lacking, and I was disappointed that I couldn't fully enjoy the combination of noodles and soup as the soup was very hot (maybe due to the generous amount of toppings?). The egg was delicious though.

▪️Shop Name: Char-grilled Miso Ramen Men's Master Shinbusaiya Shibuya Store
▪️Rating: 3.65 on Tabelog (as of August 2023)
I stumbled upon this shop in Shibuya late at night while looking for ramen. I visited around 12:30 AM, and it took some time to purchase the food ticket as the person in front of me bought a lot, but I quickly entered the shop.
- What I Ordered:
Char-grilled Miso Ramen - 950 yen
The shop has 28 seats. Besides counter seats, there are also many table seats, making it family-friendly (although it's a bit funny to come to Shibuya with family to eat ramen... haha).
The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. The soup is a golden brown color with toppings such as green onions, chashu pork, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, and ginger. The soup has a slightly strong flavor attack, with a fragrant umami and richness from the char-grilled miso, along with a hint of artificial seasoning. The noodles are medium-thin egg noodles with a slightly curly texture. The slightly oily fat coating the noodles adds sweetness. The noodles have a glossy appearance and a satisfying texture. The pork chashu is tender enough to easily fall apart, with a simple lean meat flavor.
The miso flavor is quite strong, making the texture of bean sprouts a good match. In the latter half, the ginger blends in well, providing a refreshing change in taste. Since they are open until late at night, they are kind to those who are looking for a ramen after drinking. I think this is a great shop! Thank you for the meal!

The miso ramen was delicious. Thank you for the meal. The miso flavor was quite strong and very tasty. The bamboo shoots and chashu were also substantial, making it a satisfying and filling meal. I would love to go back if I have the chance.

I was able to visit the shop I had been checking out! It was perfect without a doubt! I decided to go for the spicy miso ramen with extra meat, extra noodles, and extra spicy combo attack. If you can handle the spiciness, the extreme heat is not a problem at all. I was sweating buckets, but it was incredibly delicious! However, I ended up soaking wet by the time I got home (laughs).

All the staff at the store are from East Asia, and the owner seems to have a connection to Cambodia, so they might be from that country. The condiments are plentiful, and you can customize the taste to your liking instead of just eating the store's flavor. The counter is a bit dirty, so there are some doubts about cleanliness. The serving was a bit off, with bowls placed slightly to the side and away from the person eating, indicating a lack of attention to detail. The noodles have a strong texture typical of Sapporo style, and the miso sauce has a complex flavor. The soup is not too rich, with the overall taste being dominated by the sauce. The restaurant is open late in Shibuya, so they may be a bit worn out, but it seems like they are lacking in some basic aspects. Even the regular miso flavor is quite spicy, so be careful if you don't like spicy food or if you have children with you.

Originally planned to go to Shibuya Gold Rush on 8/11, but it was too crowded so I had to change my plans. Went to Kiraku, but it was closed, so I decided to visit Mashumisai for the first time. I ordered the Ablazed Miso Ramen for ¥950. The noodles were familiar to Hokkaido locals, but the soup was too salty. The staff were foreigners and the restaurant does not allow smoking. #Ablazed Miso Ramen #Mashumisai #Mashumisai Ramen

I went for lunch! It is located about a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station towards Dogenzaka. I ordered the miso ramen with flavored egg! I don't usually eat miso ramen, but it was delicious with a spicy kick! I feel lucky to have this restaurant near my workplace! Thank you for the meal!

Visited ramen restaurant "Men Shou Shinbusakiya" located about a 3-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station, along the Dogenzaka street. Arrived for a late lunch on a weekday, just before 4 pm. Ordered the "Charred Flavored Egg Ramen (Miso)" for 1100 yen. The soup had a light miso base with a slightly spicy miso flavor. It seemed like they may have blended in some spicy miso as well, as they offer it at the store. Ginger was placed on top of the chashu, adding a nice accent to the miso flavor. The noodles were medium-thin curly egg noodles, perfect for miso ramen. The toppings included chashu, green onions, bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, menma, and a flavored egg. The chashu was tender with a hint of fat. The wood ear mushrooms were an interesting addition to miso ramen, providing a good texture. The menma was thick and crunchy like bamboo shoots, also adding a nice texture. The flavored egg was perfectly soft-boiled, almost runny when cut open. They offer gyoza on the menu, and the table condiments were plentiful. They had garam masala on the lineup, which when sprinkled in, transformed the soup into a curry flavor. It was an interesting way to change up the taste! Overall, the light miso base made it a good choice for a light and satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

After finishing work one evening, I visited this restaurant with my wife. We purchased our meal tickets from the ticket machine outside the shop, and our order included: - Charred meat extra ramen - Seasoned egg - Large size - Tamago kake gohan (egg over rice) - Charred egg ramen. Since I hadn't been able to eat lunch that day due to work, I was very hungry and ended up ordering a lot. I had imagined a rich miso-based ramen where miso was the main flavor, but it was not like that at all. The miso in this ramen was well-balanced, allowing the other ingredients and noodles to shine. The fried chicken, in particular, was very generous in portion size. The extra meat option included 3 slices of char siu and 2 pieces of fried chicken, which looked flat and didn't seem like much at first glance, but when I picked them up, I was surprised. Each piece was quite large, and I honestly thought to myself while eating, "Oh, I might not be able to finish my rice!" The Tamago kake gohan (egg over rice) had bonito flakes sprinkled on top, and when eaten with the soup, it enhanced the flavor along with the miso. It was a satisfying ramen that left me full and content. (I did finish it all!) Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had about 30 minutes of free time in Shibuya, so I decided to visit the restaurant called Shinbu Sakuya for their seared miso ramen. It was my first time there, so I ordered the extra spicy miso ramen. The soup had the flavor I expected, a bit on the strong side but I liked it. The noodles were honestly too firm for my liking, so I might try ordering them softer next time if possible. They use the classic Sapporo ramen curly noodles. The toppings included chashu, soft-boiled egg, and bamboo shoots. The chashu was tender and delicious, and you can add extra toppings if you like. The soft-boiled egg was average, and the bamboo shoots were large but not too hard, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was not bad, but there are many tempting food options in Shibuya, so I might visit again someday.

The restaurant is located in Sapporo Nishi-ku Kotoni, which is a competitive area for miso ramen. Today, I ordered the basic miso ramen (special) for 1,200 yen. The noodles had a good chewy texture and were slightly firm. The miso soup, topped with ginger, had a great combination that would warm you up in the winter. At the counter, there were not only the usual salt and pepper, but also unique options like "garum" and "Sichuan pepper" for flavor variations until the end of the meal. It's rare to find a variety of options including brown rice noodles and vegan dishes. Additionally, they have a vending machine that freshly squeezes four oranges on the spot for 350 yen, which was refreshing after the meal.

I had always wanted to visit this restaurant, and this time I had some business in Shibuya so I made my first visit. It's not very close to Shibuya since you have to climb up Dōgenzaka, but the restaurant itself was very easy to find. (Is it also close to Kamiyama?) I visited on a Friday afternoon around 6 o'clock, and there were a few groups inside the restaurant and a few groups waiting to buy tickets at the ticket machine outside. The ticket machine is a touch panel cashless payment system that supports multiple languages, and the two groups in front of me seemed to be foreigners. The restaurant is divided into two floors, and the first floor where I was seated had both a counter and tables. (By the way, the person sitting next to me was also a foreigner.) The interior of the restaurant looks like a typical ramen shop with a moderate level of cleanliness, making it inviting. I ordered the Ajitama Miso Ramen for 1100 yen. I handed the ticket to the staff and the ramen was served in about 5 minutes. The first impression of the appearance was somewhat vague but "beautiful." This time, I chose the regular miso ramen with ajitama, not the special one with toppings like nori, but the presentation was beautiful and got me excited. As for the taste, it was simply delicious. It didn't stand out as exceptional, but overall, the flavor was well-balanced and satisfying. It was a bowl of ramen that left a high level of satisfaction, not too light or heavy, making me feel like I had eaten well. It might be my favorite among the ramen I've had recently. It's a bit of a walk from each Shibuya station, but it was worth going. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed until morning and it was great! I ordered tsukemen and the soup was delicious! The speed of service was okay, but the table was a bit dirty. However, the taste was great so I want to try the ramen next time!

I went to Shinbusakiya in Shibuya's Dogenzaka. I had a good impression of Shinbusakiya when I had an office near Dogenzaka in the past, so I decided to visit after a long time. It had been over 10 years since my last visit, so I was surprised to see that the restaurant was still in business. I arrived around 7 pm and there were about three people inside. The menu had foreign languages written on it, and there were gluten-free options available, so it seemed like they catered to a lot of international customers. I ordered the Charred Flavored Egg Ramen for 1100 yen. The soup had a miso flavor, but the broth was quite light. I don't remember it being this way when I had it before. The noodles were Hokkaido-style curly noodles, and the usual portion is 150g. The light soup made it feel like the noodles didn't soak up the broth well. The toppings included bean sprouts, chashu, bamboo shoots, green onions, bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, and ginger. The chashu was a bit thin, but the flavored egg had the most flavor. Unfortunately, it didn't suit my taste. It seems like there are mixed reviews from other customers, so there may be individual differences in how people perceive the food. Perhaps it was changed for vegan customers, international customers, or due to different chefs. I personally prefer stronger flavors, so the overall lightness of the dish was disappointing and not what I expected based on its appearance.

I always eat spicy ramen here! They are open until late at night, so I highly recommend it! There is usually a line, but it's worth going at least once! If you like spicy miso ramen, you must try it! Many late-night ramen shops have poor customer service, but that is not the case here!

"Aburi Miso Ramen Men'sho Shinbu Sakiya Shibuya Branch" is a miso ramen restaurant located near the Koban on Dozenzaka. They offer gluten-free noodles, but I chose the regular ones. I purchased the Aburi special miso ramen from the ticket machine and was guided to the second floor. The soup lacked the sweetness and richness of miso, having a light taste instead. The noodles were medium-thick curly egg noodles. Personally, I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. #ShibuyaGourmet #DeliciousRamen #Ramen #Noodles #MisoRamen #ShibuyaLunch #FoodiesUnite #Foodstagram #FoodieFriends #FoodPorn #Foodgram #FoodBlogger #FoodTravel #GoodFood #GourmetFriends #FoodReviewer #FoodWriter #BClassGourmetInfo #TokyoFoodCulture
