There used to be a ramen shop called "Rairaitei" at this location, but now it's "Tenichi". The interior is decorated with still life paintings and traditional Japanese artwork, giving it a unique atmosphere for a ramen shop. I recently tried their "Rich Fried Chicken" dish, which received unanimous approval on a TV show, as well as their newly introduced "Rich MAX" ramen. The Rich MAX was flavorful without being too heavy, and quite delicious. The fried chicken was crispy, crunchy, and had a nice rich aroma to it, making it a tasty dish as well. Unfortunately, the rich almond jelly was sold out, so I'll have to try it at another location next time.

The noodles were coated in the strongest and richest soup, but it wasn't too heavy and I enjoyed it. This shop also offers free iced coffee.

I went to Tenichi in Kyoto for the first time. I ordered the rich ramen and fried rice set, which cost 1280 yen. The moment I saw it, I was sure it was going to be delicious. It was a conviction like when Ohtani hit a massive home run. There's no way the Tenshinhan wouldn't be delicious, even if it's just white rice soaked in soup. This menu used to be a secret menu item, but it became an official menu item starting this year. Went to a New Year's sale with my child and had lunch before shopping. We tried to go to a popular place but it had a long line, so we went to a less crowded restaurant instead. We bought our meal tickets from a vending machine inside the restaurant and were seated at the counter within 5 minutes. It was nice that they served complimentary iced coffee. The total cost for a set meal at Tenkaippin was a little over 1000 yen, which was a bit surprising due to the rising prices.

Kyoto's Tenkaippin is located on a prime corner at Kawaramachi Sanjo. For some reason, they offer a free iced coffee when you order ramen, but I don't need that. I ordered the normal kotteri ramen for 920 yen. I wish they would offer it for 900 yen without the coffee. The taste of Tenkaippin can vary depending on the branch. This one is not bad, but everything feels a bit lacking. Disappointing.

I arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes before it opened, and there was no one there yet. I managed to get a seat and my goal for today was the "Super Rich" ramen, limited to 5 servings (1,200 yen). Five minutes later, there were already more than 6 people in line, so I just made it in time. The bowl of ramen I got had a rich-looking soup with noodles and green onions, and no other toppings. The soup was thick and gooey, but not as rich as I expected. It had a thick texture like the usual rich soup, but with added sweetness like from onions. They didn't add a lot of lard or oil to make it rich, so it was rich but not too heavy. The noodles were the usual medium-thin type, cooked slightly soft, giving a chewy texture that mixed well with the rich soup. At the bottom of the bowl, there was garlic and condiments collected, and when mixed in, the garlic and chili peppers blended with the soup, enhancing the flavor and richness. Ingredients like chashu or menma had to be ordered separately as additional toppings, so it was like enjoying just the noodles and super rich soup in this ramen. The restaurant also offered free coffee, which was a nice touch for a relaxing moment after the meal. This limited 5 servings per day ramen will be available until February 28th, so if you want to try it, hurry to Tenkaippin (not available at the main store).

It is a limited-time menu where they simmer the popular rich soup even further with added onions for more flavor. Each store only serves 5 bowls per day, and one bowl per person. No reservations or takeout allowed, and no discounts or coupons can be used, including the app's half-price coupon. I arrived just after opening time and was lucky to get the last bowl of the "Super Rich Ramen." The soup was rich and served in a black bowl. The noodles were cut shorter than usual due to the thick soup consistency. I felt the soup was rich but not as thick as I expected. I added some ramen sauce from the counter to adjust the flavor to my liking. Overall, it was a delicious and enjoyable experience.

It seems like a new store that opened in the third year of Reiwa. They stick faithfully to the basics, and I thought it was delicious even among Tenkaippin stores. Extra green onions were free. Also, the iced coffee after the meal was free. Both the service and the taste were good, so I would like to go again.

The noodles clump together just like in their other locations. I felt like I was getting my vegetable intake with the green onion topping. All in all, it was a satisfying meal. This particular branch offers a free iced coffee service, but considering that their ramen is priced a bit higher than other places, I hope they won't offset the cost by including the coffee in the price.

On a regular Thursday at 1:30 PM, the restaurant was not crowded. I ordered the regular ramen for ¥830 including tax, with an extra large portion for an additional ¥150, totaling ¥980 including tax. I also received a complimentary iced coffee, which arrived in just 7 minutes! This restaurant is delicious too! I think the founder of Tenkaippin was here. Thank you for the meal.

Ordering is done through a ticket machine. I decided to try the firm noodles with no garlic. When I asked if I could have extra green onions, I was told it would cost extra. That was disappointing! They provided complimentary iced coffee, which was a nice touch. Even though the taste of Tenkaippin is the same wherever you go, it's interesting how the service varies slightly at each location.

The place was about 30% full, maybe because it was before lunchtime or due to COVID. The rich soup was irresistible, with a rich and addictive flavor. It's a chain restaurant, so the taste was consistent with what I've had in Tokyo.
