This time, it's all-you-can-eat grilled oysters for 2980 yen only. The time limit is 90 minutes. For an additional 1000 yen, you can have all-you-can-eat raw oysters, and for an extra 1500 yen, you can have all-you-can-drink. Drink orders are required and consumption tax will be added. In addition to the all-you-can-eat option, there are steamed oysters, potato fries, oyster rice, and oyster fry. The oyster fry is hot and delicious. The oyster rice is mixed rice, but it doesn't seem to have oysters inside. Overall, everything is decent. As for the all-you-can-eat oysters, they come in various sizes from small to large. The taste ranges from mediocre to delicious. The cooking time for each round is about 15 minutes, so if you eat a lot, you might not get full. However, with a last order time of 90 minutes, it was satisfying. There seems to be only one grilling machine per table, so it might get frustrating with 4 or more people. Up to 6 people can share one table. The a la carte menu has various options, but they are on the pricier side, except for the grilled offal. Despite the rustic atmosphere, most customers are couples or families, making it a typical izakaya. I didn't opt for the all-you-can-drink option this time, but I enjoyed some sake like Tosa Tsuru, Yama no Kawasemi, and Senjyu, mostly light and dry types, starting from 500 yen for a glass. They also offer a variety of wines. There's no other place in Kyoto where you can eat oysters at this price, so I recommend it. I'd like to compare it with another place next time. Shinsekai.
