I went to the popular izakaya Muni in Kyoto, which opened in Kawaramachi. This time, I made a reservation for a 2-hour all-you-can-eat and drink course! The dishes in the all-you-can-eat and drink course are typical izakaya style. If you're looking for photogenic dishes, I think ordering a la carte menu would be better. The restaurant was crowded with young people. The restaurant was a half-private room izakaya with a trendy atmosphere, perfect for dates and girls' nights out. Both the drinks and food were reasonably priced. The meat sushi was seared right in front of us, making it a great choice for taking videos. It was a great experience to see and enjoy the food, and the portions were satisfying for the price.

I recently visited a new restaurant that just opened. They offer a variety of "career advancement" cocktails, with a lively atmosphere that seems perfect for socializing. However, they have a strict 2-hour seating limit, and we were promptly asked to leave after exactly 2 hours. It's understandable though, since it's a popular spot.
