I visited around 2pm on a weekday. The lunch rush was over but there was still a wait for 1-2 people. I ordered the Negi Ramen, firm noodles, and strong flavor. Of course, I also had rice on the side. It was my first time trying white negi topping on a house-style ramen, but it was surprisingly good. The seasoned negi mixed with the soup created a unique flavor.

After enjoying a relaxing bath at Hagi no Yu in Uguisudani, I had a bowl of ramen at Busho-ya in Akihabara as my post-bath meal. I added sliced onions as a topping, thinking it would be finely chopped onions, but it turned out to be a surprise with sliced onions (laughs). You might have to wait a bit here, but it's definitely delicious. The tonkotsu shoyu broth with Sakei Seimen noodles is a perfect match, and the portion of rice served as a side was just right. I enjoyed it very much.

Delicious. If you're looking for a good Tokyo-style ramen, this is the place to go. Among the many Tokyo-style ramen shops near Akihabara, I think the balance of flavors here is the best. The richness is just right, and you can enjoy a gentle Tokyo-style ramen. It's true that there are more female customers here compared to other shops. Since the seating capacity is small, it tends to be relatively quiet in the afternoon.

It's a shop where you can eat a light and refreshing style of ramen! I found this place on Tabelog when I was really craving some ramen. I arrived around 13:30 and there were about 2 people waiting, but we were able to get inside in about 5 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I ordered the Warlord Ramen with normal amount of fat. The firmness of the noodles varied among the customers, so I played it safe and chose normal (some chose firm, some chose soft, haha). The soup was a bit light, but they said you could add more flavoring, so I stuck with normal and it was still quite flavorful. They serve rice with their ramen, so I ordered a half portion of rice as well. Even while waiting, the smell was really enticing, so I thought it might be a rich, heavy broth, but it turned out to be a light soy sauce-based soup with a hint of the house-style flavor. It had that house-style feel but was still easy to eat. (Personally, I prefer a thicker, pork bone broth, so please recommend me one if you know any!) The seasoned egg was creamy and delicious. The meat was quite generous, almost too much for me to finish 3 slices, but it seemed just right for men.

- General Tso's Ramen (1200 yen), spinach (150 yen)
- Visited on a weekday night around 10 pm. Bought food tickets before entering and lined up. There were 7-8 people waiting. Waited for about 8 minutes before entering the restaurant.
- Inside, there were only 10 counter seats and self-service water. They were cooking 4-5 bowls at the same time. The noodles were boiled for about 2 minutes for firmness and about 3 minutes and 30 seconds for regular firmness. The food was served in about 7-8 minutes.
- Tasting: The General Tso's Ramen came with 3 slices of pork, 5 seaweed sheets, and a flavored egg. Spinach was an additional topping. The soup had a good balance, slightly salty, but average for a home-style ramen. It wasn't too thick or too thin. The noodles were slightly thinner than usual for home-style ramen, longer than the 6-inch bowl, similar to the noodles at Tanise-ke. The noodles were clean, without the "ka" mark seen in Tanise-ke, but very similar. The pork shoulder chashu was thick and satisfying. The spinach seemed to be frozen, lacking flavor and texture, but when rolled with seaweed, it tasted good. The flavored egg was runny and flavorful, a good match with rice. Rice was not included but was available for free refill, following the tradition of Musashi-ke.
- Overall: The balance of noodles and soup was good, and the thick-cut chashu was satisfying. This restaurant seems to be following the legacy of Musashi-ke, although it is not operated by Astrale. There may not be any outstanding features, but it is a reliable place to eat. The location is convenient, and I would like to visit again.

After getting off at Akihabara Station, I found a family ramen restaurant within a 5-minute walk. While my friends were busy with otaku activities in Akihabara, I had some free time and decided to look up ramen restaurants. I discovered that there was a Musashi family ramen restaurant nearby, so I headed there. It was a Saturday, but it was past 2 PM so I thought I could easily get in, but there was a line. I bought a meal ticket, waited in line for about 10 minutes, and was seated in the restaurant. The interior had about 13-15 counter seats only. They had all the essential condiments on the table, including the famous Kyu-chan cucumber. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my ramen with flavored egg was served. It was delicious! It had been a while since I had Musashino-style family ramen, and it was a hit. The firm noodles made by Sakai Seimen were really tasty. I also enjoyed the free rice and ended up getting a second serving. Considering how much I ate and the fact that it was under 1000 yen in this day and age, I think it's amazing. There were four staff members, and I realized that the restaurant must be popular and profitable to be able to afford the labor costs. Overall, it was a great meal. Next time, I would like to visit the Musashi Family Ramen Gaiden branch if I have the chance.

When I always try to stop by after work, there are usually about 10 people lined up, so I often end up going to another restaurant. This time there were about 5-6 people, so I lined up and visited for the first time. There are 10 counter seats, and once the people eating inside have finished their rounds, you don't have to wait too long to get in. I ordered ramen with firm noodles, strong flavor, normal oil, and added rice. The noodles are thinner compared to other ramen shops. Next time, I think I'll go for less oil. It was a very standard family-style ramen. It's near Akihabara Station, so when I don't feel like walking too much, I'll stop by again sometime.

Warrior Ramen, medium size for 1300 yen. Rice is free. It seems like Warrior Ramen has increased by 200 yen since last time. Personally, if there is a 350 yen difference between regular ramen and Warrior Ramen, I feel like ordering regular ramen would be better. Even the regular ramen comes with toppings like nori, so unless you really want to eat a lot of chashu, you'll be satisfied with the regular one. By the way, the chashu was average.

Today's lunch choice was this restaurant. Sometimes I feel like having a hearty bowl of ramen. I arrived at the restaurant around 1 pm, and there was a line of about 5 people. It seemed like you had to buy a meal ticket first and then line up, with 5 people entering at a time. This time, I chose the Warrior Ramen (regular size). When I handed over the meal ticket, they asked about the firmness of the noodles, the richness of the soup, and the amount of fat, so I ordered firm noodles, rich soup, and extra fat. I also appreciated the generous service of free rice and free refills. I enjoyed my meal today as well. Thank you for the delicious food.

I remember when the term "家系ラーメン" (family-style ramen) became popular, and Yoshimura-ya started getting attention on TV, I went all the way to Yokohama to try it out. That was about 20 years ago, and since then, I have been eating family-style ramen here and there. It's delicious! But not in a way that blows me away, and I don't really feel like I want to eat it again the next day. There were even some shops where I thought, "I won't come back!" Recently, however, I have come across rich and flavorful family-style ramen like at Musashi-ya in Oimachi and Kawaguchi, and I've started to think, "Hmm, family-style ramen is pretty good too." When I come to Akihabara, my feet naturally lead me to family-style ramen shops. Customers here enjoy their ramen in various ways - some mix it all up, some dip nori in the soup and wrap it around rice, some mix in spinach or chashu, some turn the soup into a rice bowl, and so on. Today, I had the special negi (green onion) ramen. Oops, I made a mistake. I meant to add green onions to the regular ramen. But even so, it was delicious.
On a Saturday afternoon, the wait was about 15 minutes before being seated. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I had previously tried the regular noodles which were soft, so this time I ordered them firm. They were perfectly firm, so I recommend ordering them firm. The free rice was also firm. The ajitama (seasoned boiled egg) had a strong flavor which I liked. I think this is one of the top ramen shops in Tokyo. If I had to mention one thing, the premium seaweed for ¥200 is a bit expensive. Overall, it was very good.

I ordered Negi Ramen for 950 yen. I prefer everything to be normal. It came with free rice and oshinko. The soup was too salty for my liking. The topping of green onions was also heavily seasoned, making the flavor even stronger. I was preoccupied with this throughout the meal and don't remember much else. Whether it was just this time or the default level of intensity, I probably won't visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I sometimes see this place with long lines, but I decided to go since it didn't look too crowded. I ordered the Negi Ramen for 950 yen, asking for the noodles to be cooked firm and with extra toppings. I opted not to have rice this time. I should have requested regular green onions instead of seasoned ones, as they can alter the taste of the soup. It can be tricky since different places use different types of onions. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the meal.

Ramen with firm noodles, extra noodles, topped with flavored egg. You will be guided to your seat by lot number, so you can usually sit down without much of a wait. Prices have gone up since July. When you hand over your meal ticket, you will be asked about your preferences and if you want to have extra rice. Rice is free, and you can have seconds.

Warrior Ramen for 1000 yen. Rice is free. I ordered it thick, firm, and with plenty of noodles. After taking a bite, I thought it was seriously delicious. It's my favorite style of ramen. The fact that I didn't have to wait in line for too long was also a big plus. Some people were getting refills of rice, so maybe it's unlimited? They have a wide variety of condiments, making it a reliable choice for Akihabara-style ramen!

The price has increased by 100 yen from the original price, but considering the prime location in the center of Akihabara, rising costs of ingredients, free rice with unlimited refills, this ramen shop offers good value for money compared to other ramen places. The soup is rich, with a strong soy sauce flavor, tender chashu, and noodles with a nice chewy texture from Sakai Seimen. There was a usual line outside, but surprisingly there were empty seats inside. It seems they have changed their seating system to guide customers in all at once when half the seats are available, similar to Yoshimura-ya. I think this is a good idea as it makes it easier to seat groups and also discourages people from taking too long to eat while others are waiting in line. It was delicious, I will definitely go back.

I arrived at 21:50 and was served the General Ramen for 1000 yen at 22:05. It was as good as regular ramen priced at 750 yen. I wonder if it is part of the Musashi family. It was really delicious. Rice is available for free all day and there was also cucumber. Maybe I didn't need to be so calm when ordering.

I wanted to eat ramen, so I came to check it out and found three people in line. They had a new menu item, Negi Ramen, so I decided to try it. I added some extra Chashu, which was a bit of a gamble, but I ordered the noodles firm, less fat, and a small portion of rice. The Negi was mixed with a sauce containing chili peppers, and the soup was slightly red, different from the usual. However, it wasn't particularly spicy, and the base soup had a familiar taste that was easy to enjoy. The refreshing taste from the Negi mixing made it quite enjoyable. The Chashu today was on the tender side, so overall it was a good experience.

When I went to Akihabara, I felt like eating ramen and was recommended to come here by an acquaintance! I arrived around 4 pm, and there were about 5 people waiting in line, possibly because it was a holiday. I don't like waiting in line too much, but I decided to wait because I was craving ramen. While waiting in line, the staff came to ask about the firmness of the noodles, the richness of the soup, and the amount of fat you prefer! I thought you had to buy the ticket at the entrance, but it turned out that you had to buy the ticket first and then wait in line! It might be a good idea to warn first-timers about this! I quickly bought the ticket and placed my order for noodles with firm texture and everything else normal. Rice was included for free, and I ordered that too! Surprisingly, you could have unlimited rice refills here! There were also pickled cucumbers available inside, which seemed to be all-you-can-eat as well! After about a 20-minute wait, I was seated and the rice was brought out shortly. Watching the regular customers, I saw them putting pickled cucumbers on their rice and eating it before the ramen arrived, so I decided to do the same! As I was eating the rice, the ramen was served. This system seemed to work well! The ramen had a rich and thick taste typical of a house-style ramen! The soup here was quite intense! The fact that rice was free and refillable justified the richness of the soup! I was glad I chose the normal richness for the soup! For those who want to eat a lot of rice, it might be best to have the soup rich, while those who just want to enjoy the ramen may prefer it lighter! If you want to fill up your stomach for 1,000 yen, it's worth waiting in line to come here!
