There are surprisingly few izakayas open in this area late at night, so I occasionally come here. This time, I used the counter seats for the first time and was surprised to see that they were couple seats with a TV attached. I was able to relax more than I expected. I don't need to mention the food, but it was a shame that there were many items sold out, probably because it was a weekday after a holiday. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant at 7:00 PM. There were about 20% of customers. I was guided to a table at the back by a male waiter. I ordered a draft beer for 429 yen, which was served in a nicely chilled glass and tasted delicious. For snacks, I ordered fried chicken for 418 yen and spicy potatoes for 418 yen. I also ordered cut steak, chicken cartilage fried, assorted sashimi for 842 yen, Caesar salad for 537 yen, and a real gold sour for 421 yen. Overall, the food was quite tasty. I went to a nationwide chain izakaya in the streets of Kyoto with about four friends to discuss work. Since it was our second stop, we only ordered drinks. The overall impression was neither good nor bad, just average. There weren't any incredibly delicious drinks, but they weren't bad either. It might be a good place for a large group to have a welcome or farewell party.

It's safe to say that you won't go wrong with this popular chain restaurant. It's great that they can accommodate a large group even on the same day. The karaoke rooms are a fun addition, allowing you to sing while enjoying your meal. However, the entrance and elevator area can have a strong smell, which can be unpleasant after eating. Other than that, there are no major issues and overall it's an enjoyable experience.

The place is popular and I usually frequent it, but this time the highball was not strong enough and the carbonation was weak. The food also tasted frozen. I couldn't eat the fried chicken and potatoes that came as a side dish after eating soba.

I enjoyed the variety of alcohol available.

At the third stop. Despite being full, we felt like we hadn't had enough to drink, so we decided to stop here. The building was filled with chain izakaya restaurants and karaoke boxes, bustling with young people. Every place was crowded, with waiting lists. We chose the one that seemed to be the quickest. They served mega-sized beers and chu-hai, and the servers brought them over with one hand - impressive! You order using a touch screen, but we waited over 20 minutes for our first drink and had to repeatedly ring the bell. We even tried calling out to passing staff, but the drinks were still slow to arrive. Our friends had to leave for Osaka, so we didn't have much time left (even though we had over an hour when we arrived). We didn't even get an ashtray. I recommend visiting when you have plenty of time to spare. In the end, we had to leave after just one drink.

Near Kyoto Station, on the 4th floor of a building, there is a restaurant called "Shirakiya." Upon entering, you take off your shoes and place them in a shoe box, then proceed further with a number tag. The ordering system involves ordering the first drink at the table and then using a touch panel to place additional orders. The dishes ordered included edamame, crispy burdock chips, Norwegian salmon sashimi, green salad (without dressing), American Cobb salad (missing avocado), draft beer, and shochu. The reviewer was a bit disappointed as the menu was similar to another restaurant they had previously visited and did not meet their expectations.

The second party was great. Even though I was satisfied with the food at the previous restaurant, others seemed to still want more to drink (lol) so we came here. Big chain restaurants really don't get flustered even when a large group comes in. The staff here seemed very experienced. Lately, at any restaurant, you can choose the brand of sake or shochu you want, so why is it that beer only comes in a mug or bottle... I want more variety to choose from! I definitely don't hate big brand beers though (lol).

There were plenty of dishes on the menu, including many Kyoto specialties, which satisfied not only travelers but also locals like me. Don't underestimate chain restaurants! The taste was consistently good, and the atmosphere was lively with a lot of people. The staff were friendly and provided attentive service, leaving a positive impression.

I used this restaurant for a group party. We ordered the cheapest party course available. The alcohol selection was average. The food was also pretty normal, but since it's a chain restaurant, that was expected. If I had to say something good, the chicken hot pot we chose had a flavorful broth and was delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy with sunken kotatsu-style seating and just the right amount of lighting for a party or gathering. I wouldn't go there alone, but it's a good choice for group events.
