Today, I was torn between restarting my exploration of Musashi Kosugi or going to a popular shop in Shibuya, but in the end, I found myself on Dōgenzaka. The shop I was looking for is located at the top of Dōgenzaka. Despite the street always being dirty, there are some great ramen shops here, so I find myself coming here more often than to Shibuya. The shop was quite popular, with a wait of about 8 people when I arrived around 2 pm. After waiting outside for about 15 minutes, I was seated and served my bowl of ramen immediately. The operation was impressive. After finishing my meal, I realized that you could add more soup if you wanted. Even though the regular portion was already quite filling, the option to add more noodles without worrying about the soup pace was great. The fact that the regular portion already had enough soup to accommodate a larger portion was even more impressive. The flavor of the ramen was rich and delicious, with a seafood-based broth that hit the spot. Despite the 440g of noodles, I managed to finish it all without stopping, thanks to the refreshing green onions at the bottom of the bowl. The noodles were made of embryo wheat, giving them a chewy texture and a nice wheat aroma. I also started playing Armored Core 6 yesterday, but the boss in Chapter 1 proved to be a challenge, so I had to stop for the day. I'm already hooked.

I casually walked into a tsukemen restaurant and ordered the large portion of germinal wheat noodles with flavored egg and pork. The thick noodles with visible germinal wheat were firm and full of flavor. The dipping sauce was a rich seafood broth with a gentle touch. The noodles coated perfectly with the sauce, making it delicious. The chashu was tender and flavorful, and the flavored egg was also tasty. The soup clung to the noodles, so I happily added more. It was a heartwarming moment at this kind ramen shop. Ah, it was so delicious! Thank you for the blissful experience. With gratitude, "Thank you for the meal." Ebisu Shime.

I arrived at the restaurant at 6:00 pm on a holiday. I waited in line for about 10 minutes before entering the store. I ordered the rich flavored egg and meat dipping noodles (1200 yen) with extra noodles (50 yen), totaling 1250 yen. The amount of noodles was 330g with the extra serving. I chose the recommended germ noodles, which were delicious. The noodles alone had a sweet wheat flavor, strong texture, and satisfying chewiness. They paired perfectly with the thick and rich soup. The soup had a rich flavor from seafood and pork bones, but it was not too heavy, making it very easy to eat. The additional chashu was tender and tasty, and I was happy with the generous portion. I'm glad I came to this mammoth restaurant. If you enjoyed the food here, be sure to visit the main branch of "Enji" in Kichijoji as well~

【Food】
- Rich flavor egg and meat dipping noodles (sprout noodles) 1,200 yen
- Extra large serving 50 yen
【Impressions】
- The neatly arranged noodles are appetizing!
- When you dip the noodles in the rich seafood pork bone soup, you can't stop eating!
- I thought the extra large serving would be too much, but I finished it in no time! It was delicious!

Ordered the "Thick Tsukemen with Rich Ajitama and Meat" with germinal seed noodles. Personally, I prefer the soup here over Tsujita's. As the name suggests, it is rich and has a complex flavor. Impressed. The germinal seed noodles are chewier compared to smooth noodles, providing a satisfying texture. The chunks of meat inside the soup have more depth and flavor than the chashu on top of the soup. I would definitely come back again.

Every time I passed by Dogenzaka, I was curious but it was my first time entering. I could choose between germ noodles and regular noodles (both thick noodles). The rich and creamy seafood-based soup paired well with the noodles and was delicious. I think it's one of the top level tsukemen around Shibuya Station.

It was Saturday evening and there was only one group waiting. It took about 15 minutes from buying the food ticket to receiving the bowl. I chose the whole wheat noodles for my rich flavored egg-topped dipping noodles and spicy dipping noodles. The whole wheat noodles had a strong wheat scent, a good chewy texture, and a rich moisture content, making them smooth and delicious. The dipping sauce was thick and rich, with a strong pork bone flavor and some chicken, but only a slight hint of seafood and vegetable umami. It was tasty and well-balanced, but those expecting a truly "rich" flavor may need to adjust their expectations. The spicy dipping sauce added some heat, which mellowed out the richness a bit. However, the spiciness was not too intense (level 1). Since the noodles were quite assertive, some may find the flavor to be a bit light and monotonous. Overall, it was a well-balanced and satisfying dish that would appeal to those who prefer lighter dipping noodles.

There was a line even before closing time on weekdays, about 6-7 minutes from Shibuya Station. This is a thick tsukemen shop where you can choose between germ and chewy noodles. It's similar to Enji in Kichijoji. The taste is well-balanced and satisfying, but personally, I prefer Enji a bit more. The difference is that Enji has dried fish and bonito powder on the table, while here they only have chili oil, soy sauce, and pepper.

At the end of summer, Mammoth-san. (Even though it's September, it's still scorching hot) I keep posting about it, but when I question myself for only eating tsukemen, the balance of the store's appearance, interior, staff, and food makes me feel nostalgic for the Showa era. Of course, the deliciousness is there with the rich soup, embryo wheat thick noodles, and the option for soup refills, which makes me feel the kindness. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and the deliciousness has only gotten better. I will definitely continue to come here. Thank you for always serving delicious food. I will continue to come here to get energy from this power spot. If you happen to be in Shibuya, be sure to give it a try! ❤️

I visited this place for the first time. There was already a line before the opening. I waited for about 15 minutes and then got in. I ordered the tsukemen with flavored egg and pork. The soup was rich but not too heavy, with a subtle seafood flavor. The chashu was not melt-in-your-mouth tender, but still soft and tasty. I found a great restaurant in Shibuya.

The dipping noodles had a strong bonito flavor with a thick soup, but it wasn't too heavy or salty. The whole grain noodles were chewy and paired well with the soup, making it easy to eat. It was lucky that I didn't have to wait in line.

It's been a while since I went to Shibuya and found a ramen shop that serves non-stop throughout the day. It's perfect for a late lunch when you're in the mood for ramen or tsukemen. I was able to sit right away and enjoyed slurping the rich soup with the noodles. I've never had mammoth-sized ramen at other places, but I highly recommend trying the noodles here.

I rarely come to Shibuya, but I had some business to attend to in Dogenzaka, so I visited this place on my way back. I arrived around 7:30 pm and was 8th in line, and waited about 15 minutes to get in. I ordered the classic rich tsukemen with flavored egg (990 yen) with whole grain noodles. Just as everyone had said, the chewy thick noodles dipped in the thick seafood broth were delicious. Towards the end of the meal, I found out that you can get one soup refill. I only dipped a little at a time, so I regret not dipping more generously.

I waited for about 10 minutes before entering the restaurant. I had the tsukemen. The noodles were chewy and the soup was thick like potage, very delicious. My junior recommended this place as their favorite, and I can see why. The seating is limited, so be mindful of the timing to avoid waiting in line.

I was looking for a ramen restaurant in Shibuya and came across this place. It's usually quite crowded, but luckily there were only three groups in line, probably because of the Obon holiday. The rule is to buy a ticket before lining up, and then the staff will ask you about the type of noodles you want. I chose the germ noodles, which apparently are only 2% of the total production. When I sat down, the ramen was served quickly. The noodles had a strong texture and were said to be high in nutritional value, which was true. The soup was thick and rich, and they even had soup refills on the table. I would definitely like to go back again.

You can choose noodles from 3 types: thin, regular, or thick. I chose the regular noodles with tamago topping. I went around 2 pm and had to wait for about 15 minutes as there were 4 groups ahead of me. The tsukemen was served promptly after being seated. You buy a meal ticket first and then line up. After I was seated, about 5-6 groups lined up behind me. The broth was not too rich, just the right creaminess, and the noodles were smooth to eat. The tsukemen came with two thick slices of meat, which made it quite filling. I also want to try the spicy noodles next time. I think I will come back a few more times as it was delicious.

Visited around 12:30 on a weekday during Obon season. There was a line of about 5-6 people ahead of me, but it moved quickly. It was hot outside as the line was single-file. Luckily, I was able to get in after about 20 minutes. I ordered the rich flavored egg and pork tsukemen for 1,200 yen. You have to buy a meal ticket before sitting down. The noodles were mostly made of germ, and had a pleasant aroma. The soup was thick but not too heavy. It tasted exactly like I expected, a fish and pork bone broth. I might avoid coming here during peak hours, but I would definitely visit again when craving fish and pork bone tsukemen in Shibuya.

I visited for lunch! I arrived at 11:30 and there were only about 2 seats left in the restaurant! By the time I left, there were 3-4 groups waiting in line, so I recommend coming at a different time for lunch! The menu includes a rich fish and pork bone tsukemen with flavored boiled egg! You can choose from 2 types of noodles! This time, I had the noodles with a strong wheat flavor unique to Mammoth! It was incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Thank you for always viewing ✨ If you like it, please try bookmarking it with the "Save Shop" button. A shop located in Shibuya Dogenzaka, Tokyo. I wanted to go to another shop but it was temporarily closed, so I came here. It's a popular shop with long lines during the day. I arrived at 3:30 PM and there was a wait for 4 people! I ordered the following:
- Rich, flavor-packed egg-topped dipping noodles for 990 yen
I chose the thick sprouted wheat noodles. There were also options for thick, chewy noodles and "bira bira" noodles. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I entered the shop. There was a notice saying that the soup is thick, so adjust the amount of noodles dipped in the soup according to your preference, like eating soba noodles. The ramen arrived! Just the noodles alone were delicious! The wheat aroma was nice, with a strong texture and a sweet taste. The soup was hot and rich! Delicious! When eaten together, it was really tasty! The meat was big and meaty, very tasty! The egg was rare and delicious! The shop is small but the food was delicious (*^▽^*)_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Thank you very much for reading until the end ✨ If you leave a comment, I will reply to it. I arrived around 1 o'clock, so I was able to enter without much of a wait. I ordered the "Ajitama Tsukemen (Sprouted Wheat Noodles)" as recommended by the staff. The sprouted wheat noodles that were recommended by the staff were delicious as they mixed well with the dipping sauce. I could hear the kitchen staff calling out when I entered the restaurant, when the food was served, and when I left, which personally made me feel very comfortable. I would like to visit again.

Visited around 7:45 PM on Sunday. There were about 2 people ahead of me in line, and I was able to get in after about 15 minutes. I ordered the germinal wheat noodles with extra rich flavored egg, extra meat, and additional chashu. The soup was a rich seafood pork bone broth, but it wasn't as rich as I had expected. I was hoping for a thicker consistency, so I felt a bit unsatisfied, but the flavor was good. I was a bit nervous about the extra large portion (440g), but I managed to finish it without any problems. I think even men can easily finish the extra large portion.
