I visited around 16:30. There were about 3 empty seats on the first floor, so I was able to get in without waiting in line. I ordered the Black Ma-Yu Ramen (680 yen) at the ticket machine, and requested it to be firm. The ramen arrived surprisingly fast, in about 3 minutes. The noodles were very thin, typical of Hakata-style ramen, with a nice chewy texture. The soup was a light pork bone broth, not too strong in flavor, with a slightly salty soy sauce taste. The black ma-yu oil was quite noticeable, but maybe a bit too much. The toppings included chashu, wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and fried garlic. Overall, it was a bit different from the typical Hakata ramen, lacking a bit of richness and depth. However, for 680 yen, it was great value. There were condiments like sesame seeds, garlic, ginger, and vinegar on the table, but no spicy mustard greens. The location was convenient, right near the station. Overall, the taste was average, but if you're feeling a bit peckish, it's worth a try.
