"Marumochi Water" @marumochiya ▶︎ Marumochi set of 3 pieces (with soybean flour and black syrup) so you can eat it right away when it arrives ♡ When you break the water balloon, a round mochi comes out with a "bouncy" texture that you often see on social media. It's cold and bouncy when you put it in your mouth, so delicious ~ ♡ You can enjoy both the appearance and texture, so if you haven't tried it yet, be sure to order it (^ ^)

Magazine featured: Inside the transparent balloon-like sphere is delicious natural water from Japan (soft water), sugar, and agar. "Mizu Maru Mochi" is topped with soybean flour and black syrup. You can adjust the amount of toppings to your liking. Follow the instructions to break the sphere with a toothpick and put it on a plate. It's soft and wobbly, so be careful not to spill it. I bought two boxes.

It is known for its unique way of eating and cute appearance. It is a great gift for women and children. Even when topped with black honey and kinako powder, it is only 27.2kcal, making it a low-calorie option. *¨*•.¸¸☆*・゚ It is low in calories, delicious, and perfect for social media posts. ♡ First, let's talk about how to open it (´-ω-`) The unique appearance might make it difficult to know how to open it, but the opening process is quite interesting! You simply place the Mizumaru Mochi on a plate and use the provided toothpick to poke it. The Mizumaru Mochi will bounce and roll on the plate, making it a visually enjoyable experience. ♪♡ The traditional way to eat it is by sprinkling kinako powder and black honey on top. The Mizumaru Mochi is softer and melts in your mouth more quickly than regular mochi, providing a unique texture. The combination of kinako powder and black honey is excellent! It is recommended to chill it in the fridge before eating. The amount of kinako powder provided is a bit generous, so adjust according to your preference. As I was walking through Nishiki Market, I spotted the water round mochi that I had seen on social media before! The shop in Fushimi Inari has opened a branch in Nishiki as well, so I decided to buy some. The round mochi balls were almost sold out, so I bought all that was left. There were two types available, one with mitarashi dango sauce inside and another with red bean paste. I think there was also a matcha flavor, but it was sold out this time. The small round mochi balls are heated in a toaster before eating. The outer layer is firm, and when you bite into it, a chewy mochi texture with a gooey mitarashi dango sauce inside comes out. Heating it intensifies the flavor. It's not as soft as regular mitarashi dango, but has a more chewy texture. The combination of red bean paste is the classic one. The water mochi can be chilled overnight, and when pierced with a toothpick the next day, it comes out in a wobbly manner. Sprinkling kinako and drizzling with black syrup, it's a different kind of chewy and cold treat compared to warabi mochi. The kinako and black syrup combination is delicious. The ingredients are natural water, sugar, and agar. In videos, it looks more wobbly, but the taste is just as expected. Thank you for the meal.
