I got off at Odaiba and headed towards Zepp DiverCity. I remembered going to Zepp Tokyo in the past, but it has closed down and reopened inside DiverCity. I arrived early today due to the typhoon. Before the dance performance, I decided to grab something to eat. The food court inside hasn't changed much in the past two years. I haven't tried the tsukemen or ramen yet. The food court here has a variety of options like tempura, ramen, udon, etc., perfect for sharing with family. I discovered a new place called Kyurin. I ordered their specialty "Vegetable Tsukemen" for 990 yen. They served it in a tray with chopsticks and a spoon. I checked the condiments and soup refills. The noodles, vegetables, and dipping sauce were served in that order. I sat at a solo table, got some water from the dispenser, and tried the tsukemen. It tasted familiar, and I later found out it's affiliated with Rokurinsha and Sharyo. The dipping sauce was rich but not overpowering, with a nice balance. Eating the vegetables with the noodles was a great idea. The fact that the vegetables were served separately was a nice touch. Despite ordering a regular size, the portion of noodles was generous and delicious. I added some black shichimi pepper for extra flavor. I also added some soup refill to the dipping sauce. Gotta enjoy every last drop.

Located in Odaiba, Tokyo, inside the DiverCity food court. The food court has many famous shops, including Kanesuke Hanzo, and is quite large. The clientele includes not only young people but also many foreigners. It was moderately crowded at 1:00 pm on a weekday. After ordering, you receive a buzzer or wait at the counter, similar to a highway rest stop. The tantan tsukemen (large) costs 1040 yen. The kitchen operates with a systematic division of labor, but I kept getting passed by others, possibly because I ordered something not commonly requested. The tantan tsukemen is a rich seafood-based broth with added tantan oil. The spiciness is great for hot weather. The noodles, however, felt slightly thinner than those at the main branch of Rokurinsha. The noodles didn't seem as flavorful, perhaps due to the location or a different preparation method. I ordered the large size, which ended up being too much, and I struggled to finish it, drinking multiple small cups of water. Perhaps the limitations of a food court affected the experience. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing the Mezamashi Live, I went to the food court at DiverCity. I ordered the special tsukemen in large size. The soup was delicious, and the noodles had a great texture that mixed well with the soup. The food court also had other options like seafood rice bowls, ramen, takoyaki, Korean cuisine, and chicken rice bowls. It's a popular tsukemen shop, for sure.

At lunchtime, I was looking to eat at a diverse restaurant filled with foreign tourists, and as I was heading towards a sushi bowl place that caught my eye, I noticed a ramen shop next to it. I looked up the ratings on Tabelog and found out that it is affiliated with the famous Rokurinsha. I usually can't eat there due to the long lines at Tokyo Station, so I ordered without hesitation. With the first bite, I was shocked by how delicious it was. It was almost at the level of Rokurinsha. To be able to eat this at a food court was amazing. I was truly impressed. I want to go back again.

Lunch on 06/17 (Sat) at Kyurin in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza store. Had the Vegetable Tsukemen (dipping noodles) for 990 yen. Paid in cash. The service was fast and the portion size was good. The soup had a gentle flavor with a subtle bonito broth. The noodles were plentiful, causing the soup to thin out and become bland as it cooled down. This is a common issue with tsukemen, having both its good and bad points.

After watching "Alegria" by Cirque du Soleil at Odaiba Big Top, we had lunch at the food court in DiverCity. It was a weekday, but there were many tourists around. It was past 2 PM, but the food court was full. We managed to get counter seats and ordered from Tsukemen Kyurin. My daughter had the regular Tsukemen, while I had the large Tamago Ramen. I'm not a big fan of heavy ramen lately, so it was a bit too rich for me. But I still enjoyed it and finished everything. Thank you for the meal!

It was delicious, but the fact that it was quite crowded stood out. The wait was long, but the food arrived quickly and the taste was good. The noodles were also to my liking. I might not go out of my way to try it again, but I thought it was satisfying.

Opened in April 2012, this ramen and tsukemen restaurant is operated by Matsufuji Food Co., Ltd., based in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The company also operates the popular ramen chain Rokurinsha. The ramen (large size) costs 790 yen and features a rich and flavorful soy sauce pork bone broth. The noodles are not the typical high-hydration thick noodles found in tsukemen shops, but rather medium-thick noodles with a moderate hydration level. The soup is so delicious that you won't be able to stop eating it. The toppings include pork belly chashu, thick menma (bamboo shoots), roasted seaweed, and green onions. Despite the small size of the roasted seaweed, the ramen offers a generous portion of toppings for its price. With 225g of noodles at this price point, the value for money is excellent.

We went to Odaiba with our family and ate at the food court in DiverCity Odaiba. It was really crowded. It was a bit of a struggle to find seats, as some people seemed to be saving seats with their belongings, which we didn't quite understand. Maybe it's better if someone stays behind to save seats. I ordered the regular size tsukemen for 690 yen, but opted for the small size after reading reviews that even the small size was quite large. It was from a different brand affiliated with Rokurinsha, and it was reliably delicious. They served it right away, which was nice. The broth was so tasty, I couldn't stop drinking it. I should have splurged a bit more for extras like seasoned egg, but overall it was still delicious. The price was a bit high for a food court, though. There was one slice of pork in the soup, but I had to ask the staff to confirm. I think I'll come back to this food court again next time.

In Diversity, there is a ramen shop in the food court. The service is really fast from ordering to receiving... so convenient!! Usually in food courts, you are given a number tag and have to go pick up your order, but here they bring it to you which is so helpful. However, as others have mentioned, the broth for the tsukemen was lukewarm. I wish they would serve it hotter... that's the only thing that needs improvement. The taste is delicious!!✨ Also, even though there is usually a line, the portion size is quite generous and the cost performance is great. The deep bowl is filled with noodles, so the satisfaction level is high✨ Maybe because of this amount, the dipping broth may not stay hot until the end. The noodles are thick with a good chewiness, and you will be really satisfied with just one bowl. There is also Ramen Kokugikan in Odaiba, so I always have a hard time deciding which ramen place to go to~

Tsukemen (regular) 790 yen I stopped by before my errand in Odaiba. I arrived at the food court on the 2nd floor of DiverCity after 2 pm, and I was 6th in line at the register. After a while, it was my turn, I paid, and then I waited in line at the counter for my order. Since they didn't use a calling bell, I didn't have to wait long before my order was ready, less than 5 minutes. It was served right away. Being part of the Rokurinsha group, the presentation was similar. I started eating immediately. The noodles were a bit soft... The dipping sauce was lukewarm... I tried to enjoy it again, but I believe the default flavor is probably good, so it was disappointing. However, the service was fast. The toppings included one sheet of seaweed next to the noodles, a slice of chashu, menma, and green onions in the dipping sauce. Since it's a food court restaurant, I understand they may pre-make the noodles or reboil them, but wouldn't it be better to keep the individual portions of soup warm at all times? Therefore, in terms of taste, I would rate it as Rokurinsha > Syaraku > Kyurin, with the price being equal. If you accept it as food court tsukemen, I think it falls into the category of delicious.

Today is a holiday in Odaiba, and I headed to the highest-rated ramen shop in the area, "Tsukemen Kyurin," for lunch. As usual, Odaiba is crowded on holidays. I arrived after waiting in line for about 5 minutes in front of the store. I ordered and decided to go all out by adding seaweed and spinach toppings to the special ramen. This is luxurious! When the bowl arrived, all I could see was a flavored egg and canned chicken?! Where are the extra pork slices and bamboo shoots? Do I have to pay an additional 250 yen for this? It's quite disappointing! Despite my lowered expectations, I decided to try it. The noodles, although not very thick for tsukemen, were slimy and soft. It seems they were boiled all at once and served. The taste of the tsukemen was just average, nothing outstanding. However, the volume of noodles was indeed substantial. But then again, I paid an additional 200 yen for it. The pork slices topping was not tasty. The seaweed, which was 5 extra sheets in medium size, was average in taste. The spinach had a meager amount for 100 yen. The flavored egg was also average. Overall, there was nothing impressive. There was no sense of satisfaction from the special ramen, and the toppings were lackluster. The soup was okay, but overall, it was a disappointing experience. I don't think I will revisit this place. I don't understand why it has such high ratings.

Visited on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, but the competition for seats in the food court was fierce. The ordering system involved lining up to order and pay, then receiving the food right away. I ordered the Tama Tsuke-Men with regular noodles. The noodles were firm and had a classic tsuke-men texture. It was drained properly, which was appreciated. Sometimes you see noodles that haven't been drained well and it's disappointing. The dipping sauce was also good, nothing special. Overall, it was satisfying for a meal in the food court.

Today's holiday lunch is at "Tsukemen Kyurin DiverCity Tokyo", a separate brand operated by Matsufuji Shokuhin, which is also known for the popular tsukemen restaurant Rokurinsha. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor food court of DiverCity Tokyo. I visited on a Friday at 11:30 am, right when lunchtime started, but the food court was quiet due to it not being the weekend. There were no customers in front of Kyurin. I checked the menu and decided to order the default tsukemen. I placed my order at the counter, paid, and was told it would be ready soon. The noodles, already boiled and rinsed, were quickly placed in a bowl in front of me, while another staff member prepared the soup. I received my tsukemen without having to wait. I found a seat and started eating. Despite my initial concern about the noodles being pre-made, they were actually perfect - thick, smooth, and with a good chew. The soup had a cloudy appearance with a hint of animal-based umami, yet surprisingly light and easy to eat. The saltiness was just right. I ordered the large size, which was 400g of noodles, and finished it in no time. Although the restaurant is different, the noodles and soup reminded me of Rokurinsha's Shalala. There is also a Tanaka Soba shop in the same food court, so I always find it difficult to decide which one to eat at each time I visit.

Today I went to Odaiba for a camera lesson. My usual spot for curry, "Yume Min," was supposed to be the destination, but to my dismay, it was closed. Knowing this, I had to find another place to eat. However, the food court at DiverCity Tokyo on 12/25 was extremely crowded. There were no seats available. I finally found a single seat and left my belongings there before heading to another restaurant. I ordered the regular size tantan tsukemen. The tantan tsukemen at Rokurinsha was quite delicious. Now, how would this affiliated store compare? The order was ready as soon as I placed it. Fast! A common occurrence in food courts. Perhaps it was pre-made. In that case, my expectations were lowered. The flavor and noodles were about 60% of Rokurinsha's standard. The spiciness was just right. It was decently tasty. The sesame flavor was strong. It was disappointing that the dipping sauce was lukewarm. However, the amount of food for a regular size was impressive. I managed to finish it, but it was a struggle... Overall, it was a satisfying tsukemen experience.

"Diversity Tokyo Plaza 1F food court's tsukemen restaurant 'Tokyo Tsukemen Kurin' offers a regular size tsukemen for 790 yen. The vibrant thick noodles convey a firm texture just by looking at them. With each bite, you can taste the strong umami and richness of the fish broth. The noodles have a great chewy texture and you'll find yourself finishing the dish in no time!"

I visited Odaiba and had some time to spare after having lunch. I decided to eat at the food court in DiverCity and adjust my time there. I chose Tokyo Tsukemen Kyurin for a simple tsukemen dish for 890 yen. I paid with PayPay, received a vibrating device, and waited for 6 minutes. The noodles were served with a seafood and animal-based soup. While the taste was good and I may crave it again, it didn't leave a strong impression as there are many similar options available. I would like to try more innovative dishes next time.

Located in the food court inside DiverCity in Odaiba, this shop is a branch of Rokurinsha. I ordered the "Nama Shichimi Tsukemen" and it was delicious as expected. The soup and noodles were great, and most importantly, the fresh shichimi was amazing! Definitely the right choice. I will order it again. Thank you for the meal.

A quick expedition to Odaiba for a change of pace~(^^)/ As expected, the food court in Odaiba was packed and seats were hard to come by~(>_<) After circling around for a while, I finally found a spot to sit down and placed my belongings before ordering! Visited the food court on a weekend at 1pm and it was full, so I tried the "Tokusei Tsukemen" (special dipping noodles). The thick noodles had a hint of flour aroma and a firm texture with defined edges. The soup was a slightly thick, rich broth with a light seafood flavor. The chashu pork, warmed in the dipping sauce, had a perfect seasoning and a satisfying chewy texture. The menma (bamboo shoots) soaked in the soup were delicious with a crunchy texture. The flavored egg was slightly runny and rich, while the shredded pork had a light seasoning. Overall, the taste was original despite being affiliated with Rokurinsha. The noodles were served incredibly fast, in less than a minute. Overall, the noodles had a defined texture, the dipping sauce was rich, the ingredients soaked in the soup were tasty, and the portion size was generous. Thank you for the meal!

(Visited on October 2, 2022) I ordered a large portion of tsukemen for 890 yen including tax. When I went to the pick-up counter with my tray, the dipping soup and noodles were served immediately, which surprised me. It was a quick process. After receiving my order, I found out that this place is related to Rokurinsha. Although they had prepared additional soup, the paper cup was too small to carry with the tray, so I decided to skip it for now and come back later to get it. The dipping soup was thick and rich, with plenty of green onions overpowering the seafood broth's flavor. If there were fish powder sprinkled on top, it might have balanced out better. The noodles looked shiny at first but lost their appeal as time went on. Also, the chopsticks didn't grip the noodles well, making it difficult to eat. Overall, thank you for the meal.
