Mr. Kaneko Hanzo, you truly are amazing! Since expanding to food courts, your restaurants have become so familiar. I love it. It may take some time for the food to be ready, but the anticipation is exciting. Delicious food always brings happiness no matter when you eat it. Thank you for the meal! 🍽️

I noticed the recent expansion of Konishi Hanzo's food court with my family and was curious about it. Hmm, it feels different from the original store... It's not bad, but it lacks the excitement of waiting in line and eating freshly fried tempura at the main store in front of Mitsukoshi. The feeling at the Konishi Hanzo in the food court was different.

I enjoyed freshly fried crispy tempura! It was a set of Edo-style tempura rice bowl with miso soup for about 1600 yen. It included green pepper, 2 shrimp tempura, squid, fluffy egg, and a large piece of conger eel, which was even bigger than my hand. It was very satisfying and filling.

A tempura restaurant located in the food court of DiverCity Tokyo. I ordered the seafood mixed tempura bowl for 1300 yen. It was ready in about 10 minutes. The bowl came with 2 prawns, eggplant, squid, white fish, seaweed, shishito peppers, and half-cooked egg tempura on top of rice. The special sauce created by Kaneko Hanzo pairs well with the freshly fried tempura and rice. It was very delicious.

Today, I went to the bowling alley at DiverCity for the first time in years, and then stopped by the tempura restaurant, "Kaneko Hanzo DiverCity Tokyo Store," in the food court. I had the Edo-style tempura rice bowl and a draft beer. The sauce and tempura seasoning were the same as usual, but I still felt like something was missing compared to the crispy texture you get when eating at the restaurant... I guess that's just how it is when you have so many food options in the food court. Thank you for the meal.

I had the Edo-style Tendon for 1,500 yen. It was the highest rank at this restaurant. It had a good portion size and was delicious. The spice called "Daigo-mi" added an extra deliciousness to it. It is located in a food court, but don't underestimate it.

I came to see Gundam with my friend and we were planning to eat at a nearby restaurant, but we were too tired so we decided to eat at the food court instead. There were so many options that we couldn't decide what to eat. We ended up getting tempura rice bowl. It was a great choice! The flavor was rich, the portion was generous, and we were satisfied. ✌️

Visited on a Saturday night. Didn't have to wait in line to get in, but there was a long line when leaving. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the quality is better than expected. The sauce was well seasoned, the batter wasn't greasy, and the portion size was just right. I finished my meal easily. I would definitely like to go back again.

When it comes to the food court at DiverCity Tokyo, I used to love the curry from Yume Min. I have been eating it since my university days. Unfortunately, Yume Min has closed down, so I decided to try the Edo-style tempura rice bowl from this shop instead. Wow, it's a generous portion! The rice is hidden under the tempura, so you have to dig it out haha. As for the taste, I have never tried this tempura rice bowl at a proper restaurant, only at the food court. It was okay, not bad but not exceptional either. I might prefer the tempura rice bowl from "Tenya" instead. That's my take on it...

Today is Christmas Eve! I had to work, so I decided to have lunch outside and headed to DiverCity. I was torn between ramen and a place I was curious about, "Tendon Kanesuke." It was lunchtime when I arrived, but the line outside the restaurant was not too long. However, the food court was packed. Since I was alone, it was easy to secure a seat. There were many families and couples around! While waiting, my order buzzed and was ready. I ordered the seafood mixed tempura bowl in large size. The portion looked quite generous. It included 2 prawns, white fish, squid, eggplant, egg, shishito pepper, seaweed, and had quite a volume! The main prawns seemed a bit cold and were heavily dressed, probably due to my diet. The egg was half-cooked, and I quickly mixed it with rice, which turned out to be delicious! The vegetable part was okay. However, the seafood seemed a bit lackluster. Overall, the base was not too soggy, and I liked the taste of the sauce! But it was disappointing that the ingredients lacked a bit of liveliness. The price was also higher compared to the main branch, and the ingredients seemed smaller. It might be due to the location. Now I feel like trying the tempura bowl at the main branch! Bon appétit! I had a dish called "Edomae Tendon". It was from a restaurant in the food court. The taste was like a regular tempura bowl, but the ingredients were luxurious. It had eel, 2 shrimp, tempura squid, and small shishito peppers. It was delicious. It took about 10 minutes for it to be served, and I was a bit anxious because I was running late, but I made it in time for my next appointment. There are many different restaurants in the food court, and they all looked tasty.

Located an 8-minute walk from Odaiba Station, I visited "Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Hanzonosuke DiverCity Tokyo Plaza" at DiverCity 2F food court. Arrived around 6:30 pm on a weekday and there was no wait. I was able to easily order at the counter. I ordered the Seafood Tendon for 1,300 yen. They also have Vegetable Tendon and Edomae Tendon, with the latter priced at 1,500 yen here compared to 1,100 yen at the main store. I was called in about 10 minutes. The toppings included two prawns, white fish, squid, eggplant, shishito pepper, seaweed, and half-cooked egg. The Edomae Tendon has one piece of conger eel, scallop tempura, white fish, and eggplant. The tempura was crispy, the sauce was just right in sweetness and spiciness, which I liked. The egg was left until the end to mix with the remaining sauce for a satisfying TKG. I enjoyed it until the last bite. I wish they also offered pickled ginger and black soybean tea at the food court!

(Visited on October 2, 2022) Seafood Tempura Rice Bowl for 1300 yen including tax. It includes white fish, 2 prawns, squid, eggplant, egg, seaweed, and shishito peppers. It was explained that it would take about 10-15 minutes for the order to be ready. True to that, the buzzer rang just over 15 minutes later. It seems orders are not prepared in the order they are received. At least 4 people who paid before me were served after me. The bowl looked quite small. The tempura seemed to be added as soon as it was fried, but when I tried it, it wasn't crispy as expected. The batter was thick, making it hard to distinguish between the batter and the ingredients (a bit exaggerated). Thank you for the meal.

Edomae Tendon, Jyo Tendon, miso soup. Served in about 15 minutes with a call-out system. The Edomae Tendon includes conger eel, 2 shrimp, egg, scallop tempura, seaweed, and shishito pepper. It is crispy and delicious. Also, the miso soup is excellent. The prices are a bit high for a food court, but I was satisfied.

The tempura restaurant in the food court caught my eye. Although there were ramen and curry options, I was drawn to the tempura. I had to wait a bit, which I took as a sign that they were frying it fresh. It looked pretty and appetizing. However, the taste was just okay. It's understandable since it's a food court, but it wasn't as crispy as I expected. The rice wasn't very tasty either. Maybe it was just a one-time thing. I'm sure if I visit the actual restaurant, I can have a tastier tempura. The shichimi pepper that came with it was good though.

The shop in Nihonbashi is famous for its long lines. However, you can eat at the DiverCity branch without waiting. I had the Edo-style tendon with large anago tempura for an early lunch before going to TeamLab. It was very delicious, but the highlight was the half-cooked egg tempura. The runny half-cooked egg inside the tempura is amazing. The seaweed tempura is also surprisingly tasty. By the way, the food court at DiverCity is only open on weekends, with all stores opening at 10:00 AM.

Long time no see, Kaneko Hanzo! Whenever I feel like eating tendon, I always rely on you (laughs). This time, I ordered the large size! The tempura wasn't as crispy as usual this day, but the whole piece of anago was voluminous and had great value for money, with a consistently delicious taste. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Kaneko Hanzo's stall in the diversity food court. They have stalls in various food courts, so it might just be a coincidence that it was where I went. I ordered the "Ue Tendon" for 1,380 yen. The "Ue" version comes with anago tempura. It includes 2 small shrimp tempura, squid tempura, green pepper, egg, seaweed, and more. Everything is deep-fried in sesame oil and served with a sweet and savory sauce, making it delicious.

A hidden gem in the diversity food court, this place offers delicious tendon at a reasonable price. The "Edomae Tendon" (1,320 yen) is a dream come true with a variety of tempura toppings. Each tempura piece is tasty and satisfying. The price may be a bit high, but the taste makes up for it. I wonder if the main branch offers even better taste...

Visited around 11am on a Sunday. It's a corner of the food court. Since it was early, there were no lines and I was able to order smoothly. I ordered the Edo-style tempura rice bowl with miso soup set (1,500 yen). I was given a buzzer and waited at my seat. It seemed like they were making it from scratch, so I waited for about 15 minutes. The tempura rice bowl that came out was amazing! There was a huge serving of conger eel, along with 2 shrimp tempura, scallop tempura, seaweed tempura, half-boiled egg tempura, and green pepper tempura. Everything was hot and crispy. The conger eel had a plump flesh and crispy coating that was truly outstanding. When I mixed the half-boiled egg tempura with the rice, it was also delicious. The scallop tempura was large and had a satisfying texture. I asked for less rice and they kindly provided the tempura dipping sauce separately so I could season it to my liking. The miso soup had seaweed in it and had a comforting flavor. Truly a famous tempura rice bowl shop, and the quality should not be underestimated just because it's in a food court. It was a very satisfying and filling lunch. Thank you for the meal.
