This is a yakiniku restaurant located in the dining area of UDX in Akihabara, called Akibaichi. The UDX building has been open for about 10 years, and although many restaurants have come and gone, this particular restaurant has been there since the beginning and is always bustling. I have been working in this area for over 10 years, and when I don't have plans to meet anyone and want to fuel up with a hearty meal, I sometimes go there for lunch. I haven't been there for dinner. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of Akibaichi, with about 70 seats including tables for 2-4 people and tatami seating, making it one of the larger restaurants in Akibaichi. The interior is decorated in black tones and has a calm atmosphere, with many female customers. The main lunch menu includes: - Kalbi Lunch: 1,020 yen (extra meat 1,330 yen) - Harami Lunch: 1,020 yen (extra meat 1,330 yen) - Pork Kalbi Lunch: 1,020 yen (extra meat 1,330 yen) - Double Kalbi Lunch: 1,020 yen (extra meat 1,330 yen) - Stamina Lunch: 1,230 yen (extra meat 1,540 yen) - Black Wagyu Supreme Lunch: 2,050 yen (extra meat 2,560 yen) The yakiniku lunch comes with unlimited rice, soup, and kimchi. I think they also offer sets like Bibimbap and cold noodles, but I haven't tried them. The Kalbi Lunch offers good quality meat with a decent amount for the price, making it a good value. The regular serving of Kalbi is 120g, and the extra serving is 170g. The Stamina Lunch includes Kalbi, chicken harami, and hormone, with a generous portion that is quite satisfying. Additionally, there is a pot of kimchi on the table for all-you-can-eat, which is quite delicious. If you're a young man, you could probably eat endless rice with just that. The location is great, the prices are reasonable, and you can enjoy delicious yakiniku, so I recommend it for when you want to have a meaty meal for lunch. I plan to go back again.

The yakiniku restaurant on the restaurant floor of UDX in Akihabara. Prices for yakiniku start at around 1000 yen, and you can choose a yakiniku lunch set for 1550 yen which includes yakiniku plus your choice of sundubu, bibimbap, naengmyeon, kuppe, or gyu motsu ramen. I decided to splurge a bit and ordered the sundubu and harami yakiniku set. I was surprised by the generous portion size of the regular sundubu with namul, kimchi, and the quality of the harami meat. I left feeling satisfied and full.

Around 2:00 in the afternoon on a regular day, the peak seemed to have passed and the restaurant was not too crowded. The atmosphere inside was a bit upscale and had a calm feeling. For lunch, you could get a soup and kimchi with the meal for just over 1,000 yen. I believe you could have gotten refills on rice and kimchi. I didn't ask for refills, so I'm not sure, but I think so. I chose the harami (skirt steak) BBQ set thinking it would be low in fat. It came with a side of vegetables, but I mainly came for the BBQ so I didn't have high expectations for the vegetables. The meat was tender and cooked in a sweet sauce, and considering the price, I was very satisfied.

Today I decided to have yakiniku for dinner, and after searching for a while, I found a restaurant recommended by a coworker. I made a reservation and went to the restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the udx building in Akihabara. The restaurant was spacious, and I sat in the back in a sunken kotatsu seating area. The kimchi and bean sprouts were delicious. I ordered top tongue, top harami, top loin, and top mino (spicy miso) for 750 yen, which was a good deal. The top mino was especially tasty. I was going to order hormone as well, but decided to try the cold noodles instead. The noodles were soft and easy to eat, and the soup was delicious. I mixed in a lot of kimchi and finished my meal feeling satisfied.

Time has passed, so I'll keep it brief (current date 12/15). I had some meal vouchers, so I decided to try out this restaurant. Yakiniku Wakuwaku. However, the conclusion is that this place lacked hospitality. It's not about the staff, but maybe it's an issue with the restaurant's system. Even though there were two of us dining, the vegetables and meat were served in portions of three each. It's understandable for the meat, but why not give an extra piece of vegetable (they were extremely thin)? Or just create a menu for two people. The vegetables were extremely thin. The pumpkin was so thin that it didn't taste like pumpkin at all. Were they sliced with a slicer instead of a knife? It was so thin that it didn't have that "soft and fluffy" texture when cooked. It felt more like eating a raw salad (that's how thin it was). The meat was tasty, but still lacked the thickness and strength. It didn't have that "I'm eating meat!" feeling. When wrapped in lettuce, it just tasted like lettuce. The lettuce and sunny lettuce were fresh and crunchy, which was the only good thing. Also, this restaurant's ordering system is through scanning a QR code on each table and ordering via a dedicated website on your smartphone, which is a recent trend. But when I tried to order condiments, like lemon, most of them were out of stock. How can everything be out of stock so early in the evening? Even with the meal vouchers, just ordering the Enzou Mori (meat) and vegetable platters, along with lettuce and rice, cost 7400 yen. Seems like bad value for money... The meat cooks so quickly due to its thinness, and it only lasted for about 30 minutes after being served. Is this a fast-food joint? Even with the vouchers, I probably won't be going back again. ▼Photos (I don't feel like sharing them seriously).

We enjoyed the delicious "Ultimate" black wagyu 6-point assortment stone bibimbap and cold noodles at Kamitanshioenzo. The interior of the restaurant has a traditional Edo-style atmosphere with ventilation every 5 minutes at each table using a smokeless roaster, allowing you to enjoy yakiniku safely and comfortably. They offer special selected kalbi of black wagyu as well as limited quantities of rare cuts. The hormone from Shibaura is also a popular menu item. They have over 10 types of alcohol such as makgeolli and shochu that pair well with the meat. Whether you are with friends or family, feel free to visit for various occasions.

I went to Kanda Enzo in UDX, just a minute walk from Akihabara Station, and had a delicious yakiniku lunch. I ordered the "Choose your yakiniku lunch set" which included stone-grilled kalbi bibimbap and kalbi yakiniku set for 1550 yen. The stone-grilled bibimbap alone was quite filling. The kalbi came with 6 slices, and it was so delicious with its marbled fat. The set also included soup and kimchi, making it a great deal. The restaurant is spacious, and I chose a tatami seat which was a dugout style, so it was comfortable for my legs. Thank you for the delicious meal.

◯Visiting time and crowd level: Around 13:30, not crowded ◯Characteristics of ordered dish: Harami set meal ◯Impression: I went to lunch with a friend for some yakiniku. The restaurant had a strong Japanese atmosphere from the exterior, and the interior was quite spacious, allowing for a relaxing time. We struggled a bit with ordering through QR codes, but managed to order the Harami set meal. The fact that you can get refills on rice, kimchi, and soup is great, and they were all delicious. The Harami itself was tender and easy to eat, it was fantastic.

A yakiniku restaurant located in Akihabara UDX. I have been a regular at the neighboring Suzuya. Visited for lunch at 1 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was almost full. The seating is in box style with ample space between tables for a leisurely chat. The harami (skirt steak) extra-large portion costs around 1400 yen. It's 200g but quite a generous serving. The meat is tender and well-seasoned. You can have unlimited refills of white rice, soup, and kimchi. The white rice itself is not particularly tasty, but the cost performance is quite good. The kimchi is not too salty, making it easy to have multiple servings without feeling heavy. I was able to enjoy a leisurely conversation with a friend I hadn't seen in a while.

Akihabara UDX3F's yakiniku restaurant, Enzo. It had been a while, probably about 10 years, since I last came here when my office was nearby. I sat at a table for two and saw that they had a lunch set where you could choose from various options like beef tripe ramen, cold noodles, stone-grilled kalbi bibimbap, kalbi soup, sundubu, and a choice of kalbi, harami, or pork kalbi. I chose the cold noodles and kalbi set for 1550 yen. I placed my order by scanning the QR code with my phone. After a while, a staff member came and offered to serve rice as a complimentary side, which was great since rice goes well with yakiniku. The first set of dishes arrived, excluding the cold noodles, so I started grilling the vegetables and meat. The set came with kimchi, which used to be unlimited on the table, I think. The kalbi was not particularly tender, but I guess that's expected for a lunch set. The cold noodles were extremely cold, making the noodles firm and a bit difficult to chew, but they had a great texture. The char siu in the noodles was tender and well-balanced. Overall, it was decent for the price.

Beef offal ramen with extra kalbi. The beef offal ramen had various cuts of meat that complemented the soup well. It was delicious with rice. However, I was not satisfied with the meat. The texture and flavor were lacking. It felt like a missed opportunity. I would consider coming back for lunch, but I wish the meat would step up its game. Disappointing.

When you exit the JR Akihabara Station Electric Town exit and go straight to the right (Electric Town North Exit), you will find Akihabara UDX. There is a shop on the 3rd floor of Akihabara UDX's Akiba Ichi. At the entrance, you will be asked to sanitize your hands, have your temperature checked, and then be seated. *It is a mobile order system, so you scan the QR code on the table with your smartphone to place your order. I tried the Double Kalbi Lunch, which comes with a generous portion of meat. It includes 85g of beef kalbi and 100g of pork kalbi (usually 60g of beef kalbi and 75g of pork kalbi). You grill each piece, and the pork kalbi is seasoned with miso, so you can eat it as is once it's cooked, while the beef kalbi is best enjoyed as is first to savor the natural flavor of the meat, then dip it in sauce. This set allows you to enjoy two types of kalbi, making it a must-try for kalbi lovers. You can have unlimited rice, soup, and kimchi with the lunch set, so I had extra rice and soup. In addition to the Double Kalbi Lunch, they also offer Kalbi Lunch (120g), Harami (skirt steak) Lunch (120g), Pork Kalbi Lunch (150g), Kalbi (40g), Harami (40g), Small Intestine (50g), and Chicken Harami (50g) Stamina Lunch. All of these come with an option for extra meat. Sometimes, it's nice to have yakiniku for lunch... The lunch sets are a good deal, and this place is recommended for meat lovers, including carnivorous women.

The seat I was guided to was open seating, but it was spacious and relaxing ☺️ The meat I ordered was all delicious. It's a bit of a walk from Akihabara Station, but I will definitely visit again when I come to Akihabara! Thank you for the wonderful meat!

I felt that it would be useful when I want to have a quick and casual yakiniku lunch around 1:30 pm on a weekday but want to avoid crowded places. I was craving protein, so I chose the harami lunch. The meat was already seasoned, and there was only one type of sauce available. The kimchi was on the mild side, which I liked. If you want to eat a lot, the regular portion might not be enough. I went with a female friend, and we had a leisurely time chatting over lunch. It was nice that they allowed us to take our time.

Restaurant Creates' shareholder benefit ends at the end of November, but my husband insisted on going back for yakiniku! We both ordered the kalbi set with extra meat and added beef bone ramen as a closer. We should have gone with harami instead of kalbi, as the kalbi was tough. Despite that, it was affordable and we could get unlimited rice, kimchi, and soup refills, plus it was a shareholder benefit. I had so much kimchi! The service was a bit awkward, with a young male server who seemed inexperienced but eager to help. However, the kalbi was tough. I shared half of it with my husband and ended up eating mostly kimchi. The beef bone ramen we had at the end was delicious, although I wish the noodles were thicker or wavy. The restaurant has tatami seating and is child-friendly, with reasonable prices for lunch on weekends. The smell of yakiniku doesn't stick to your clothes.

The kimchi here is not very spicy, but it has a good chili flavor and is on the sweeter side. The Sundubu is hearty and flavorful with a base of clam broth and enoki mushrooms. The seasoning is simple with gochujang and non-spicy powdered chili. Let's try making it at home before we forget the taste.

Due to another state of emergency declaration, some shops in UDX are closed. I decided to try the yakiniku at a restaurant I've been interested in for a while. It was Saturday night and the restaurant was quite empty. There were a few solo diners as well. I ordered the Kalbi for 1,045 yen, the tongue salt for 1,780 yen, and Kalbi soup for 880 yen. I also opted for the all-you-can-drink soft drinks for 790 yen. The Kalbi and tongue salt were decently tasty for their prices, but they tended to lose flavor if cooked too much. I found that they were quite delicious when cooked rare. The Kalbi soup was not very spicy, rather it had a sweet and elegant taste. Due to the state of emergency declaration, the soft drinks were all-you-can-drink. Thank you for the meal.

I came back to Akihabara after about 2 months. To get things done, I decided to start with lunch! So, let's take a look at UDX for lunch after a long time! I chose a yakiniku restaurant, thinking around 1000 yen would be good. I settled on the kalbi set meal. It was cooked on a smokeless roaster, sizzling away. It was a safe choice for a yakiniku set meal during lunchtime. With the lunch special, you can have unlimited rice, soup, and kimchi! Considering my plans after this, I couldn't have too much, so I only had seconds of kimchi and enjoyed it. The kimchi was delicious, with more umami flavor than spiciness. The amount of meat wasn't too much, but it's easy to use for a quick lunch.

In early January, two people went shopping in Akihabara and decided to look for a place to have lunch. They ended up at Akibaichi because of the variety of shops and the affordable lunch prices. They arrived around 2 pm, just in time for the last order. The staff was friendly and quickly seated them. They ordered the Harami lunch set (950 yen) with an extra serving of meat (300 yen). The lunch set was cheap and came with unlimited rice, soup, and kimchi. The service was neither slow nor fast, and the food was delicious. Even without extra servings, the portion was satisfying. Those who need more can easily ask for additional rice. Overall, they were very pleased with the cost-performance and definitely plan to revisit for lunch.

After visiting Kanda Myojin for the company's New Year's visit, we went out for yakiniku with a group of 9 people as we do every year. I hope that everyone stays healthy and doesn't get sick this year. It seems like we may have to postpone our meals together for a while due to self-restraint. We chose the Stamina Set on the day, which was a well-balanced meal with energizing meat.

I chose the harami set meal plus 1, with sundubu on the side. It was a perfect lunch for me as I am on a low-carb diet. It's a great value for money, so there were a lot of office workers. It might leave a smell, but it's a recommended yakiniku lunch that will give you stamina.
