This beef cutlet can be eaten rare. There is a grill at your table so you can adjust the cooking to your liking. I prefer rare, so I mainly ate it that way. It was delicious. You can get one extra serving of rice. This time, I was able to enjoy it at the campaign price for the Summer Grand Appreciation Festival. It's a great deal. The campaign period is not firmly set, but it seems like it will continue until the end of September. Make sure to visit soon.

Gyukatsu Iroha has a rating of 4.7 on Google and 3.49 on Tabelog. It was actually a bit of a surprise to find out that it is actually called Honmura and the name displayed as the WiFi network. They have a summer campaign where you can get 200g of deep-fried beef for ¥2,200, which is a great deal! It also comes with rice (with one free refill) and vegetables on the side. You can grill the beef yourself and cook it to your liking. The restaurant is located just 3 minutes from Ikebukuro Station.

I was always interested but couldn't get in because of the long line, but when I peeked in around 5 pm on a weekday, I was able to enter without waiting, so I went in! The menu options weren't that many, so I quickly placed my order! The food arrived in about 5 minutes. It was great to be able to cook it to my liking. I thought it was worth waiting in line! The seating is limited and the restaurant is very small, so that's a bit of a downside.

I visited on a regular night. There were several groups ahead of us, but we were seated in about 30 minutes. While waiting in line, they took our order, so there was hardly any waiting time inside the restaurant! They cook the food right in front of you on the charcoal grill, allowing you to adjust the heat to your liking. Personally, I liked the wasabi soy sauce the best. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be nice to have a dish for the rock salt...

Around 12:30, three of us visited the restaurant and waited in line for about 20 minutes. The place was still crowded and popular as usual. It seems to be the most delicious restaurant in Ikebukuro. I ordered a set meal of 1.5 pieces of beef cutlet. A normal woman may feel full with just 1 piece. The taste is still as delicious as ever, and I think the sauce that comes with it is the best. I always wish they would offer extra sauce. I would like to visit again if I am in the area.

When it comes to beef cutlets in this area, this is the place to go! There is always a line leading down to the basement, and for some reason, there are many young women. You can enjoy the sauce and grated yam, and of course, the beef cutlets are delicious. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. While pork offers a hearty flavor, beef provides a more elegant taste.

On the weekend, I arrived at 11:05 and luckily was able to sit at the last table. My gyukatsu set arrived in about 15 minutes and it was delicious (^人^) The fire went out again during my meal, but the staff noticed quickly and added more fuel. After finishing my meal and leaving the restaurant, I saw a line of about 20 people waiting to get in.

I waited in line for about 40 minutes after 1:00 PM, but I didn't think the taste was worth waiting that long. I ordered the 130g beef cutlet set with grated yam added. It comes out rare, so you have to sear it yourself, but just a little searing is enough. If it gets too crispy, it becomes tough and not very delicious. This was my first time eating at the Ikebukuro branch, but I feel like it was tastier when I had it a few years ago. Maybe it's just me...

The beef cutlet set meal with agedashi tea and rice refill is 1930 yen. The beef cutlet is delicious and the agedashi tea is surprisingly good. You can get one rice refill and leave feeling full. When I arrived at the restaurant around 7:30 on Friday, there was a line all the way up the stairs. Surprisingly, I was able to enter the restaurant in about 20 minutes.

The restaurant was Gyukatsu Iroha in Ikebukuro. The aisle and interior are narrow, but the hospitality is good. The service is quick from ordering to serving. Today's order was the Gyukatsu set with 1.5 pieces for 2,600 yen. It comes with three side dishes. Unfortunately, the taste of the meat lacked sweetness, and it was disappointing. I preferred the meat not to be grilled. The best sauce seemed to be soy sauce with wasabi.

Visited a beef cutlet restaurant that I had been curious about for a while for lunch. It was raining and the lunch hour was a bit past, so I wasn't sure if I could get a seat due to the impact of the coronavirus, but I decided to go anyway. Luckily, there were two empty tables when I arrived, so I was able to get in. I ordered from a staff member who spoke a bit strange Japanese and waited for my beef cutlet. I enjoyed it with wasabi, the restaurant's special sauce, and rock salt. The wasabi and rock salt were delicious. The meat was tender and had a nice texture, but I realized that it didn't have much flavor. The meat was served rare, and I had to cook it a bit more on a tape-like stone plate before eating. However, no matter how I ate it, I couldn't taste the flavor of the meat much. I realized that I forgot to take a photo until right before finishing my meal, so I only have a photo of a single piece (laughs). Considering the price, I don't think I will visit again.

I went to the restaurant during a break in the line. I ordered a small side dish, dashi chazuke, and 1.5 servings of beef cutlets for 2800 yen. For the small side dish, I chose mentaiko and tororo. The service was quick. I cooked and ate the rare cutlets using the hot stone in front of me. If you don't get the dashi chazuke, it's a bit cheaper, so I might try that next time.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. It's located on the basement floor and the stairs are quite steep. Since I was dining alone, I was seated at the counter. There were many female customers. I ordered the beef cutlet set for 1650 yen. The portion of the beef cutlet is almost like a full meal, so the quick service was nice. It's cooked at the table, so it's nice to eat it while it's hot, but the space is so small that it's difficult to find a place to put your phone because the stove is so close. I wish there was a bit more space at the table. Also, the Docomo signal is completely out of range. It would be nice if there was at least Wi-Fi available.

This is delicious. Much tastier than a certain beef cutlet chain in Kyoto. The flaw of beef cutlet cooling down is splendidly compensated for by the format of grilling one piece at a time and eating it. It's also great that you can have seconds of rice up to one bowl. I am satisfied, thank you for the meal.

I was surprised to see many foreigners. The job recruitment notice also mentioned that they were looking for someone who could speak English, Chinese, and Korean, so maybe it's always like that here. It was my first time eating here, and I enjoyed being able to cook my own food the way I like it and eat it while it's still warm. There were many different flavors to enjoy, and I didn't get tired of it until the end. Good experience overall!

This is a famous beef cutlet restaurant in Ikebukuro. On this day, there were two rare occasions. The first was watching the movie Titanic, which I saw 25 years ago in a Shinjuku movie theater. It had been a long time since I watched a movie in a theater, and this time I watched it for the second time at the Grand Cinema Sunshine in Ikebukuro. I accessed the reservation site and managed to secure a seat for the IMAX Laser GT, which was quickly filling up. Watching such a movie on a big screen is definitely a must. The second rare occasion was having beef cutlet. It had been about a year since I last had it, and I visited this restaurant for a late lunch. I had the beef cutlet lunch set for 1,930 yen, which came with rice and tea. The cutlet was tender, and you could cook it to your liking and enjoy it with soy sauce, rock salt, or special sauce. The tea was served in a mini pot, and you could enjoy it with the rice at your preferred timing. The restaurant was a bit crowded even after 3 pm, so I recommend visiting with some extra time. Watching Titanic after 25 years made me see it in a different light, especially the perspectives of Jack and Rose. It made me think how nice it is to be young. Also, the upcoming sequel to Top Gun after 34 years is quite impressive. I have watched it six times in theaters, trying all the different formats, and for me, Dolby Cinema was the best. It might be a bit excessive, but it was enjoyable! The food was delicious, and I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Gyukatsu, with its crispy coating and juicy meat, is a perfect combination. It's fun to cook it yourself and adjust the cooking to your liking. Being able to get extra rice is a nice touch. The staff is polite and the restaurant is clean. If you want to eat gyukatsu in Ikebukuro, Gyukatsu Iroha is a recommended place.

I used to go to this restaurant often, which was part of a chain. The menu was slightly different at each location, and you could choose small side dishes. I chose mentaiko and warabi mochi, and the warabi mochi was really delicious. You could have unlimited rice refills! The food was consistently delicious as always!

A beef cutlet restaurant located about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit. I wanted to try beef cutlets instead of pork cutlets, so I went for lunch. The beef cutlet was served rare and tasted delicious with wasabi and rock salt. It was unique to see a hearth in the restaurant.
