I visited Tokyo Big Sight and had lunch there. I ordered the "sauce katsu don" with extra rice. The restaurant was quite crowded due to an event, but I was able to find a seat quickly. The sauce katsu don was decently tasty, with the tonkatsu and miso soup being good as well. However, I was a bit confused by the cucumber that came with the dish.

I visited the restaurant for work in the evening when other shops were closed. They had a variety of dishes on the menu, so I ordered the pork cutlet curry. It was a standard pork cutlet curry without any distinctive features. The restaurant had a spacious interior with both table and counter seats. The counter seats had power outlets, which was helpful.

The restaurant operated by Gourmet Kineya Co., Ltd. at Tokyo Big Sight. I ordered the pork cutlet curry for 1,050 yen and an iced coffee for 300 yen. The curry was not good. The ticket machine only accepts cash and transportation IC cards. I paid for lunch in cash for the first time in a while.

I went to Tokyo Big Sight for an event and was surprised to see all the restaurants inside crowded during lunchtime, with long lines everywhere. I decided to go to the restaurant that seemed to have the fastest turnover. When I purchased my food ticket, I was called in just 3-4 minutes, which was incredibly fast! The kitchen had different stations for making noodles, rice bowls, and set meals, and each dish was prepared quickly. This place is recommended for those who want to eat quickly. The taste is similar to a company cafeteria.

During a break from work, I had lunch. It was past lunchtime, but the place was packed. Many people were waiting for seats. It was also crowded because of an exhibition. It's a ticket vending machine style, which reminds me of my student days. I ordered oyakodon and beef curry. The oyakodon was more like a stir-fry! There was also miso soup, so you'll leave feeling full. The beef curry had a generous amount of meat, which is rare for a cafeteria-style place. Even men will be satisfied with the portion. The flavors were average, but I think people come here for a quick lunch break during work, so it's good for a quick and satisfying meal.

I had a great time at the event. Everyone was pretty lively. It's not like I always go for pork cutlet curry in situations like this, but I wanted to power up. The set even came with a salad, and everyone was working efficiently, which was nice to see. Since it was an event, more and more people kept coming in and the backup numbers were being called rapidly, so it was constantly bustling! But I found that to be part of the charm and enjoyed myself! Thank you for the meal!

The place is crowded but the turnover is fast so you can line up with peace of mind. I ordered the extra large tonkotsu ramen and fried rice set, and it arrived at the table after a short wait. It was just delicious. I thought it might have more of an instant feel, but even the soup was hearty enough to drink. There are many menu options so I want to come back again.

- Tokyo Bay Kitchen Tokyo Big Sight Store Tokyo Big Sight is known to people living in the neighboring Kanto region as an international exhibition center. Various events are held throughout the year. A few years ago, I used to go there frequently for work, but it's been a while since I changed jobs. However, nothing has changed, which was surprising. And the food is a bit expensive. - After much deliberation, I chose the "Sauce Katsu Don" menu (970 yen) with miso soup. When you purchase with a food ticket, you don't need to hand over the ticket, the order goes directly to the kitchen. It's so convenient. When the dish is ready, an announcement is made, and it is displayed on a large screen. Then, you go pick up your order. The food is well-prepared. The batter is crispy, the oil is well-drained. The meat is thick and although not extremely tender, it's not tough at all and easy to eat. The sauce is not too sweet, just right. With miso soup included, getting change from 1,000 yen is good. - Restaurant information: Tokyo Bay Kitchen Tokyo Big Sight Store 03-3599-7240 Tokyo, Koto-ku, Ariake 3-11-1 Tokyo Big Sight East Exhibition Hall #SauceKatsuDon #KatsuDon #International

It was a lifesaver that this place was open when everything else was closed in the evening. I bought my ticket at the machine and waited for about 5 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the udon was. It's no wonder it gets crowded. It's a convenient place to eat at Big Sight. Thank you for the meal.

I used this restaurant for lunch when I visited the Big Sight for work. It has a cafeteria-like atmosphere with a variety of Japanese and Western dishes. There were several exhibitions going on, so the restaurant was quite crowded. I had to wait in line to order, but the food was served quickly. I ordered the fried chicken set meal. I sat at the counter, which was quite cramped. It was convenient to be able to charge my phone. The food was average in taste and the portion was small. The fried chicken was on the smaller side. The rice was not shiny and a little dry. The cost performance was not great, but I guess it's expected given the location. Overall, it was an okay lunch option.

Lunchtime at Tokyo Big Sight is always tough. Even though there are various options just a 10-minute walk away, my legs are tired and I end up deciding to eat inside the exhibition hall. This often leads to long lines, high prices, and a bit of a struggle. Today, I decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Since it was already past 1:30, I didn't have to wait long to get in. After some deliberation, I chose the "Beef Udon" set. Normally priced at 980 yen for just the noodles, I opted for the set which included a small side of rice and a few side dishes for 1,130 yen. The beef was plentiful and delicious, but I could have done without the rice. Maybe I should have just gotten a larger portion of udon instead. The prices are a bit on the high side, but that's to be expected in this location. Looking around, I noticed many people eating ramen, tantanmen, and fried rice sets. I wonder if this is what's popular here or if it's just a preference of Japanese people.

- Order: Katsu Curry for 1100 yen The katsu had a good amount of volume. As for the curry... hmm... the taste was like a Japanese-style curry, but it felt like the curry roux was diluted too much with water. I feel like even a 100 yen retort curry from a certain brand would taste better than this... Maybe it was just a one-off bad experience? I have a theory that "it's harder to make curry, ramen, and soba taste bad", but maybe I just got unlucky this time... - Random Notes: There's a curry restaurant nearby, so there's no reason to choose this place when I want to eat curry. However, the katsu was big and satisfying to eat!

This shop gives energy to the exhibition at Big Sight. Prices around Big Sight are high, like 1,200 yen for katsu curry. It's like tourist prices even in a business district. So, my wallet feels empty. The area around the International Exhibition Hall is expensive. In the East Hall, I visited this shop. It operates on a ticket system, where you pick up your order when your number is called. This time, I chose the katsudon for 970 yen. I thought it might be small or thin because it's cheap, but that wasn't the case. It was generously topped with sauce! Personally, I would have preferred a regular katsudon with a normal egg topping. Thank you for the meal! I'll come back during the exhibition period.

A restaurant located in the East Hall of Big Sight. I purchased a pork cutlet curry (1,050 yen) ticket and waited at my seat until my number was called. I was called in about 5 minutes, very quick. The curry was... is this really curry? Hmm, not good. So, I had to generously pour Worcestershire sauce from the seasoning station. The pork cutlet was average. If even the cutlet was bad, it would have been a sad lunch. Well, I guess it's understandable since it's at an event venue.

It's been many years, maybe 7 or 8, since I last came to Tokyo Big Sight. I had a late lunch around 2 PM. There wasn't a long line since I missed the usual lunchtime rush, but it was still crowded. I had the "Katsu Curry" at Tokyo Bay Kitchen in Tokyo Big Sight. The curry wasn't too sweet or spicy, with just onions in it (lol). The tonkatsu was crispy and hot, just fried. It came with a salad. It was delicious! ⭐( ̄∇ ̄*)ゞ

I had a set of tonkotsu ramen and mini fried rice at Tokyo Big Sight. It was lunchtime, so there was a long line of people. After waiting in line, I finally bought my meal ticket and was called in about 3 minutes. The food was cooked efficiently and the numbers were called one after another. And now, it's time to eat. I didn't have high expectations due to the location, but when I tried it, it was delicious. It satisfied me completely. With a full stomach, I quickly headed to the exhibition hall. Thank you for the meal.

From 10/17 to 10/19, I exhibited at a trade show at Tokyo Big Sight. I was standing and explaining all day, so I didn't have time to eat lunch. Eventually, I took a late lunch break. The East Hall of Tokyo Big Sight has a row of restaurants on the top floor. The most familiar option was the curry from C&C, but for some reason, the curry here was also around 1,000 yen. Every restaurant seemed to have menus around 1,000 yen. I thought maybe the cafeteria-style restaurant would be a bit cheaper, so I went there. However, before entering, I saw that the ramen and fried rice set was also 1,000 yen, so I gave up. I ended up choosing the tonkotsu ramen set for 1,000 yen. I know people might say "you're eating ramen again" or "it's a set," but I was too tired to care. I bought the meal ticket and received my food at the cafeteria-like counter in about 2 minutes. The tonkotsu ramen and fried rice were at a cafeteria or school cafeteria level. Not bad tasting, but more like a cafeteria or school cafeteria meal. It's just that it costs 1,000 yen, which makes me think it's more about the location cost. It's frustrating, even though I know I shouldn't expect good value for money. From that day on, I decided to buy onigiri from a convenience store before attending events. Taking a leisurely break will cause you to miss business opportunities. As a tough active salesman at 44 years old, I need to eat quickly and get back to work.

I visited Tokyo Big Sight in October 2018 for work. I purchased a "Tonkotsu Ramen Set" for 1000 yen at a shop inside the venue using a touchpad ticket machine. I grabbed some water, secured an empty seat, and waited while looking at the display until my number was called. Once my tonkotsu ramen and small fried rice were ready, I sat down at the table and started eating. The ramen was simple with chashu, menma, chopped green onions, and a flavored egg. The broth was indeed pork bone-based, but it didn't seem like Hakata-style or Kumamoto-style... I felt like I wanted wood ear mushrooms instead of menma. The noodles were slightly slippery and thin, with more water content than what I usually have, so it felt a bit different and refreshing. Surprisingly, the ramen was just okay for a venue like this. The fried rice was small and had a dry, crumbly texture, not the moist and fluffy kind. The taste was not bad, but it had a somewhat frozen food-like flavor. Well, frozen foods are tasty nowadays, so maybe it's acceptable? The fried rice, although small, was 1000 yen as a set with the ramen. It might actually be quite cheap for a dining place in this kind of venue. Thank you for the meal~

Katsu-toji donburi. Another day at Big Sight trying out new restaurants. This time, I visited a place with a fancy name but run by Gourmet Kineya. The crispy fried coating was freshly made. The meat was decent, but the runny egg on top covered it nicely. Probably the best dish I've had at Big Sight so far... Thanks for the meal! ♡

Fried rice and cold tantan noodles are served quickly and the turnover is good, which is appreciated. The authentic aroma of sansho pepper and sesame stimulates the appetite. It's not too spicy, which is also good. The portion size is generous with fried rice included, and the cost performance is good.
