I stopped by to eat dinner while shopping at Yodobashi. I was in the mood for meat, so I was debating between steak and hamburger, but decided to visit this place because it was relatively empty. I checked the menu first. Wow, the prices have gone up a lot. Well, I guess it can't be helped in these times. I used to order the best 6 pieces of meat when I visited before, and even with adding a side salad, it was around 3600 yen, but now just the beef tongue alone was over 4000 yen. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much. So I just ordered the regular beef tongue and a salad. The salad was disappointing compared to before. It used to have cucumber, broccoli, and a little bit of crab meat, but now it's lacking. The dressing seemed to be shiso flavored. The beef tongue that was brought to me was not very satisfying. The side dishes of pickled Chinese cabbage, green chili miso, and grated yam rice were delicious though. If this is the quality for this price, I might not come back again. It was a bit disappointing.

I decided to eat at a restaurant in Yodobashi and after looking around the rice floor, I found a place with a lot of open space. It seemed like there were fewer rice restaurants than before. It was my first time there, but the food was delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, although the beef tongue was a bit tough. The soup and rice were also delicious. Thank you!

Visited on a holiday for lunch. Suddenly felt like eating beef tongue after a long time, so I decided to try a new restaurant that I had never been to before. Found it through a search on Tabelog. ■ Exterior of the restaurant Located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara. After getting off the elevator, go right and it's not too far from there. The floor is quite large, so be careful not to take a long detour by going left. ■ Food In addition to beef tongue, they also offer set meals with other cuts like harami and tsukune. This time, I ordered the "Beef Tongue Feast" set meal. It came with 5 pieces of beef tongue, a large tsukune, 2 pieces of harami, and a generous portion. It also included a mini beef tongue stew and grated yam. With the option for rice refills, the portion was more than enough. All the meat was delicious, but the beef tongue stew was outstanding! The simmered beef tongue was incredibly tasty. It felt like discovering a new world. I wanted to have a full portion of it, not just a mini one (laughs). ■ Overall The price is somewhat high, but that's typical for beef tongue restaurants so it didn't bother me much. The taste was really good, making this restaurant stand out compared to others. If I ever crave beef tongue again, I'm likely to choose this restaurant again.

Yodobashi Akiba's restaurant floor has a beef tongue restaurant. I had never been there before, so I decided to try it out to explore new restaurants. There were various options, but I wanted to try the tongue meat, so I ordered the assorted beef tongue set with two types of tongue meat. When I placed my order with the staff, they mentioned that grated yam was not included, so I added it as an extra order. The food arrived relatively quickly, in about 5 minutes. I started with the tail soup, which had a slightly strong flavor. It was okay. As for the beef tongue, the thinly sliced pieces had a miso-flavored seasoning and a good texture. It tasted better when paired with spicy miso. The thicker slices had a nice firmness and tasted good on their own or with yuzu pepper. Overall, the food was not bad, but it lacked a special touch and the cost performance was just okay.

One evening on a day off, I went to Yodobashi in Akihabara with my companion who got a new smartphone, and on our way back, we decided to have dinner before heading home. We decided to visit "Nikumasa no Gyutan Tan no Suke Yodobashi Akiba store" around 7:00 PM. The restaurant was about 80% full when we arrived. We were seated at a table recommended by the staff. Looking at the menu, my companion and I ordered the secret sauce gyutan set meal (1650 yen) with grated yam (440 yen) each. My companion ordered the premium gyutan salt set meal (2728 yen) with grated yam (440 yen). Each set meal came with barley rice and wakame seaweed soup, making it a great deal. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. The secret sauce gyutan set meal had thickly sliced gyutan grilled with a slightly rich sauce, bringing out the deliciousness of the gyutan. The gyutan was surprisingly tender and juicy, earning high marks. The side vegetables were a bit lacking with just a small amount of Chinese cabbage. When eaten with the barley rice and wakame soup, it was easy to finish the meal. I also tried some of my companion's premium gyutan salt, and it was even better with thicker and more tender meat. It seemed like it would go well with wine. I was satisfied and headed home, while my companion was happy about the new smartphone but I was struggling with the payment for it. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Yodobashi restaurant street in Akihabara for lunch. I was unsure where to eat, but my friend suggested we try here. I wanted to eat beef tongue, but I was worried it might be expensive. I ended up getting the premium thick-sliced beef tongue set meal with grated yam on the side. The meat was firm and delicious, but beef tongue sure is expensive. Still, it's nice to treat yourself once in a while, right? The grated yam and barley rice were also excellent.

I discovered this restaurant when I had lunch in Otemachi, and now whenever I have business in Akihabara, I almost always have lunch here. There used to be two types of sauce, salt and miso, but they seem to have disappeared from the menu. I liked having two options. The rich flavor of the sauce is delicious. The mild pickles serve as a nice palate cleanser, allowing you to enjoy the meal until the end. It seems like there are many solo diners.

Sometimes, I just crave it ✨ Gyutan-san. This time, I visited the Gyutan Tanosuke Yodobashi Akiba store on my way to a business trip from Hamamatsucho to Akihabara. Going up the escalator through the electronics floor, I arrived at the restaurant floor. Due to the coronavirus, there were fewer customers, but it was still a bit lonely around 4:30 pm on a weekday. Feeling a little tired, I decided to have a draft beer and a highball. At first, I thought I couldn't do it today, but as I started drinking the draft beer, my energy gradually increased, and by the time I had the highball, I was back to about 80%. The secret to this energy boost was the Gyutan Assortment (salt and miso flavors for 2780 yen) ✿ It was incredibly delicious!!! While I have never had a bad experience with Gyutan at any restaurant before, the miso flavor here is exceptional. The slightly sweet miso that goes well with the meat is irresistible (゚д゚)ウマー They also came with green chili peppers and spicy miso, and there was shichimi on the table, which was perfect for drinking alcohol. The pickled Chinese cabbage for chopstick rest was also nice ✨ I just love Gyutan-san (*'ω'*) Bon appétit!

I came to Yodobashi Akiba store after a long time to browse around and ended up having lunch at a beef tongue restaurant on the upper floor. I ordered a beef tongue combo (regular) for 1980 yen. The taste was good, with juicy and tender meat, although the size of the meat pieces seemed to be getting smaller, probably due to the economic downturn. The miso sauce was quite sweet, but it paired well with the spicy miso. Personally, I think I prefer the regular grilled beef tongue over the combo option.

This is a restaurant review of a beef tongue restaurant located inside Yodobashi Camera in front of Akihabara Station. I went for a late lunch around 3 pm on a holiday and didn't have to wait in line to get in. I ordered the beef tongue miso grill & black wagyu beef set. The beef tongue miso grill had a unique sweetness from the miso that complemented the beef tongue well. The mini beef tongue stew that came with it was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. The different textures of the beef tongue were enjoyable. The only downside was the price, but it's understandable given the location. If the cost-performance ratio was a bit better, I would definitely visit this place regularly.

Located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara, right after the JR and Metro ticket gates, this restaurant was a great find. I originally planned to try the Hamakatsu, but unfortunately, it had closed down. I ended up choosing the beef tongue set instead. I visited on a weekday at 6 pm and the restaurant had a good mix of male and female customers. Sitting at a table towards the back, I had a clear view of the kitchen where the meat looked delicious. I ordered the beef tongue set for ¥1900 and a salad for around ¥400. The salad arrived quickly and was surprisingly good with crab meat in it. The beef tongue was thinly sliced and had a nice chewy texture. I tried it plain first, then dipped it in a yuzu miso and chili miso mixture, which enhanced the flavor. I also tried it with a spicy pickled sauce that added a kick to the meat. The meal came with unlimited barley rice, which I gladly had seconds of. The beef tongue set also came with a light pickled cabbage side dish. Overall, it was a satisfying dinner with various condiments to try. I would like to try the thick-cut beef tongue next time.

Yodobashi Camera Akihabara's restaurant area has "Nikutaro no Gyutan Tan no Sukue," a specialty shop where you can enjoy juicy beef tongue. There were various menu options, but I decided on the beef tongue and beef Harami set meal. Here, you can enjoy unlimited barley rice, and the juicy tongue and tender Harami make the rice even more delicious. The clear tail soup was also tasty, and I mixed the leftover rice with it to make barley rice porridge. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I stopped by the beef tongue specialty store "Nikusho Tan no Suke" at the yakiniku restaurant "Toraji" for lunch. My beloved Roomba finally passed away and I had to go to Yodobashi to buy a new one. It was a shock! I used to come here often when I was in a hurry, but it's been a long time! I used to come consecutively and accumulated points on my loyalty card, but then I got bored and abandoned it, so there should be remnants of the card at home. If I find it, I'll post it. So, I ordered my usual dish here. The premium boiled beef tongue, which I'm not a fan of, tasted delicious to me. The recommended sauce at the restaurant is wasabi soy sauce, but I prefer to grind black pepper and eat it with wasabi only. Especially on hot days, I don't feel like eating something heavy, so this dish is very light and easy to eat. The barley rice was a bit firm, glossy, and made of barley, which I like because I believe tasty rice is a must with meat dishes. Overall, this place serves the most delicious beef tongue. I've probably tried all the main beef tongue dishes here, except for the side menu items. I used to live in Kanda when I was a company employee, so I've tried all kinds of beef tongue dishes. If you like beef tongue, you might want to try the "Premium Thick Cut Tongue." The part is the same as the boiled tongue, but beef tongue is beef tongue. Compared to other parts of the tongue, it's better, but I don't like tough meat, so I still prefer the premium boiled tongue. The other menu items are not that great, so when I come here, I only eat this dish. But I'm not a beef tongue expert, so I think the opinions would be different for those who are. Until I became an adult, I had never eaten tongue other than in stew, so I think it's more of a dietary habit issue than a matter of preference. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, with friendly staff and a warm orange lighting. There are two-person sofas, making it easy for even a single woman to dine comfortably. They won't give you a loyalty card unless you ask, but since it's been like that every time, I think that's their stance. Thank you for the meal! I also got a new loyalty card. Lately, it's been so hot that I've been turning the air conditioner up to the max and I don't feel like going outside, which has made me lose even more appetite... Hmm! So, I feel like gradually catching up on the backlog from last week and posting it little by little. If I get bored, I'll go outside!

A slightly thick beef tongue with grated yam barley rice (you can have seconds), green chili miso pickles, pickles, beef tongue soup, the best combination that gets you excited. The crispy grilled beef tongue is easy to eat and goes well with the rice and grated yam. "Ah, delicious" is a phrase that naturally comes out. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

During a weekday afternoon, I had some business at Yodobashi and decided to have lunch there. There were many restaurants in the Yodobashi restaurant area, but I chose one that I had never been to before because the grilled beef tongue looked delicious. I ordered the grilled beef tongue set meal. The food was served quickly since it wasn't too crowded. It's a common chain for grilled beef tongue, but it was really delicious. In general, it's hard to find a place that doesn't make tasty grilled beef tongue. Just like with Sanuki udon, it's hard to go wrong, as you can usually find a delicious meal almost anywhere. The rice was cooked perfectly, and you can tell they put effort into making it. The Yodobashi restaurant area is usually crowded, but this place was relatively empty. It's not because the food isn't good here, but because there are sushi, tempura, shabu-shabu, ramen shops nearby that attract more foreign tourists, so this place looks empty in comparison (those places have long lines). However, the food here is still delicious.
