I took a break at a place near Harajuku Station after walking all the way from Omotesando. Surprisingly, there weren't many shops open late, so I relaxed here. The waffle was bigger than I expected, with plenty of ice cream and chocolate sauce, making it very satisfying. It was light and tasty with mascarpone instead of whipped cream.

I wanted to go to a shaved ice shop in Harajuku, but it had closed down. So, I found a cafe with a shaved ice sign at the entrance and decided to go in. Although I haven't reviewed it on Tabelog, I've been here a few times before. The shop was established in 1971 and has over 50 years of history, but it has been renovated and now has a stylish atmosphere. While I don't go to Takeshita Street often anymore, it is still crowded with people. However, this cafe, located at the entrance of Takeshita Street, had available seats and was surprisingly not crowded, making it a hidden gem. The prices are a bit higher compared to other places in Harajuku, and the clientele seemed to be a slightly older age group or mostly foreigners. On this day, I had the following (tax included): - Mango shaved ice 1750 yen - Condensed milk topping 80 yen - Hot milk tea as a drink I wish they offered shaved ice as a standalone option without the drink. The price was a bit high, but considering that you can have two cups of tea from the pot, it may not be too expensive. The shaved ice was generously topped with syrup and condensed milk was served on the side. Ice cream and cut mango were also included. The ice was fluffy at the top but crunchy at the bottom, and it had a decent portion size and tasted delicious. With the hot weather, shaved ice is definitely a must-have treat. There is also a branch in Ginza, which I have visited a few times and would recommend for a relaxing break.

After finishing my errands in Omotesando, I went to a cafe without a reservation and ended up being turned away, so I walked back to Harajuku Station with a dry throat, desperately wanting to find a place to sit down. Luckily, I found this cafe near the station with available seats right away. As I looked at the menu, I was drawn to the delicious-looking waffles, so I ordered a fruit waffle and an iced cafe latte. It seemed like there were many tourists as customers, probably due to the location. The staff were efficient and friendly. The waffle was also delicious.

This is a cafe located at the entrance of Takeshita Street in Harajuku. I visited in the evening on a holiday and was able to enter without waiting in line. Although Takeshita Street was quite crowded, this cafe was not as busy, perhaps due to its slightly higher price range. The cafe latte was a bit different from what I expected, but the waffles were delicious. It was nice to be able to enter without waiting in line at this location!

Near Harajuku Station, there are cafes like Sarutacoffee and Hoshino Coffee that serve breakfast, but I came here because I wanted to eat waffles. However, there are no waffles on the breakfast menu!! Oh no!! You can add a simple mini waffle for an additional 200 yen, but you can't have both toast and waffles. The breakfast menu costs 750 yen for toast, eggs, and a drink. The toast might be tastier at other coffee shops. My friend decided to skip the breakfast menu and ordered regular waffles for around 1800 yen, but they were delicious! Since it was a weekend morning, the café was filled with foreign tourists. I came here hoping to enjoy waffles with a good deal on the breakfast menu, so I'm a bit disappointed, but if you come here without that expectation, you'll be satisfied. I tried my friend's waffles and they were great!

This is a shop located right at the entrance of Takeshita Street, just a short walk from Harajuku Station. The interior is very clean and has a calming atmosphere, with the staff dressed in stylish but not flashy outfits, which is very comforting. I ordered an iced coffee, which was delicious and satisfying. I would love to visit again.

When I ordered the tuna salad waffle, I chose three options: whipped cream, chocolate, and maple syrup. It was a delightful combination of salty tuna with sweet syrup. It felt like I had dessert as well and I left satisfied!

When you go to Harajuku, it's always crowded. When you start feeling like taking a break, you'll definitely notice Noah Coffee, a cafe with a 50-year history serving delicious coffee and incredibly tasty waffles. The waffles are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with a rich flavor. The cream and ice cream on top further enhance the deliciousness.

Cafe near Harajuku Station. I went around 12 o'clock and there were seats available. There were about 3 groups of customers before me, and it didn't get full until I left. Many solo customers and women were there. You can see the whole seating area from the kitchen, which gives a sense of security. They have a time limit of 90 minutes for each customer, so no lingering! There is a smoking room at the back where you can also smoke cigarettes. There were many foreign customers. I ordered the salad set. The menu includes a drink, soup of the day, salad, and waffle for 1250 yen. The soup of the day was minestrone with lots of ingredients. The salad was generous in portion and satisfying. The amount of dressing was just right. The waffle was small on a plate, so if you want more, it's better to order separately. It was crispy and delicious. Considering the location, the cost performance is quite good. It was a bit hard to find the smoking room, and I wished they had provided a knife for the waffle. The atmosphere of the cafe was calm and nice, so I would like to visit again.

Harajuku Cafe. It is located just a 1-minute walk from Harajuku Station. It is located right across from McDonald's, just as you enter Takeshita Street. It has a very stylish and beautiful atmosphere, but seems to be the oldest cafe in Harajuku. Founded in 1971. I stopped by for a break after finishing up at a beauty salon and IKEA in Harajuku. I went on a Sunday around 6:00 PM and it was about 80% full. By the way, McDonald's had a crazy long line. I had a cup of tea. I tried the following: By the way, there is self-serve lemon water available. It's quite good and convenient. I had the Iced Lemon Tea (620 yen). It's basically straight tea that you add syrup and lemon to yourself. It's a classic lemon tea. Their waffles are apparently famous. I would like to visit again when I have the chance. It's convenient being close to the station. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

Cafe located on Take-shita Street! Ordered the apple cinnamon waffle! It has a good volume and is filling! The warm waffle and ice cream combo is delicious! The glass windows made me hesitate to enter, but the interior is quite spacious and cozy if you sit towards the back! You can stay for a long time!!

Today, I went sightseeing in Tokyo. It was 9 in the morning and I decided to just walk into the first empty restaurant I saw. I ordered the A set for 670 yen, which came with toast, boiled egg, and a drink. It was a good deal, but it was one order per person, so even though my child was small, they had to order their own. We were full from the meal, as the toast was thick and filling. The set also came with maple syrup and margarine for flavor variation. The drink had a lot of ice, which was a bit surprising.

I went for a meal before my walk. I ordered the B morning set with salad. The bread was about 4 slices, and I put butter and maple syrup on it. The restaurant is located right near the Takeshita Street exit of Harajuku Station. It was delicious.

I thought it was a good deal to have the option to combine the cheapest drink, which was over 600 yen, with sweets. The taste was quite delicious, and the waffle portion was generous, making the sweets cost-effective. It faces Takeshita Street, and I felt it was a hidden gem as I was able to get in quickly on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is stylish and relatively calm. Although I may not be going to Takeshita Street for a while, I think it's a great option if I ever need somewhere to go. I prefer this place over popular cafes where you have to wait in line for about an hour, squeeze into a small shop, take desperate photos, and feel uncomfortable and have to leave quickly for the sake of Instagram.

After dinner, my friend and I decided to have a light tea near Harajuku Station. The atmosphere on Takeshita Street at this time, when it's usually bustling during the day, was even more emphasized by its quietness and lack of people. With limited cafe options open at this hour, we chose this one near the station. The interior was bright and stylish, fitting for Harajuku Takeshita Street. We ordered the seasonal Mont Blanc waffle and milk tea set. The Mont Blanc "mountain" on top of the waffle immediately caught our attention. Inside the Mont Blanc "mountain" was Mont Blanc cream and ice cream. Trying the cream and ice cream separately on the tongue, the slightly rough texture of Mont Blanc combined with the smoothness of the ice cream was a delightful combination. The way they integrated the cream and ice cream without mixing them together or separating them was a clever and lovely idea. The waffle was crispy and light, providing a pleasant crunch where the Mont Blanc "mountain" wasn't placed. Despite the generous toppings, the light texture of the waffle prevented it from feeling heavy in the mouth or stomach, making it easy to finish even after a meal. The pot of tea served was enough for 3-4 cups. In the Harajuku Station area where late-night cafes are surprisingly scarce, this cafe was a valuable spot where we could enjoy chatting even after dinner.

After lunch, I asked my friend whether we should have pancakes or waffles, and they said waffles, so we went to a waffle shop. It was a cafe with a nice seating area. The menu had a lot of options, but I chose the Apple Cinnamon Honey Waffle. The name alone made me crave apple pie! The waffle was generously sprinkled with cinnamon, giving it a strong aroma. I prefer my cinnamon to have a strong presence, so I was happy with this. The waffle was topped with sweet apple compote, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and drizzled with honey and cinnamon. The honey flavor was a bit subtle though. The waffle had a crispy surface and a satisfying texture. Although there was slightly too much whipped cream, I was still satisfied. It felt like a different experience from eating pancakes! It was delicious - thanks for the meal! [NOA COFFEE] Apple Cinnamon Honey Waffle (with Iced Milk Tea) ¥1540 Located 1 minute walk from Harajuku Station (JR) (18 minutes walk from Shibuya Station B1 exit)

JR "Harajuku Station" cafe located just 10 seconds down Takeshita Street from the Takeshita Street exit. It's right across from McDonald's. It's very convenient being right by the station. I ordered an iced cafe latte and waffles for breakfast. The taste was average. When there aren't many customers, the staff's movements can be a bit noisy, which was a bit off-putting. It wouldn't be a problem if there were more people around.

Ideal for everyday use. I go there in the morning before work. The morning set is reasonably priced and includes waffles, salad, soup, and you can customize the sides. The thick, fluffy toast is quite filling, and you can choose from jam or maple syrup. It's a rare find to have a place like this with morning options right by Harajuku Station.

I had some business in Harajuku, so I decided to stop by a cafe near the station. It was a waffle cafe, so I ordered a plain waffle. Many of the other customers were enjoying waffles covered in chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I prefer my waffles to be crispy on the outside, but the ones here were relatively hard both on the outside and inside. It was a bit too crunchy for my liking. I wish they had a coffee set available.

I visited in the morning. The freshly made crispy waffles with whipped cream and maple syrup are a perfect match. The cost performance is also good, and I was surprised to find such a stylish and calm cafe on Takeshita Street! It seems like I'll be making more stops in Harajuku just to come here. ◎
