I made my debut at Toyosu Market. I had visited many times before, but this was my first time going to eat. I didn't have much time, so I entered the building where the taxi dropped me off. There were a few shops on the 2nd floor, mostly serving seafood sushi. Many tourists from different countries were enjoying sushi. I realized that Toyosu Market is a tourist spot. The prices were higher than what I expected for lunch. After wandering around, I found a relatively reasonable place called Donsho. They had a variety of rice bowl dishes with uni and ikura. I ordered the limited quantity "nakaochi don" for 1,150 yen. It arrived with glossy tuna on top of a small bowl of rice. The tuna was fresh and delicious, but the rice was disappointing. It was dry and I wondered if they had messed up the water ratio. Despite the tasty tuna, the overall lunch was a bit disappointing. The "nakaochi don" (limited quantity) cost 1,150 yen.

I drove to Barachirashi, so I ordered a non-alcoholic beer. My mouth was filled with various textures and flavors mixing together, making me feel very happy! There are variations that you don't often see in seafood bowls, and the price is only 1000 yen, so I highly recommend it.

I visited "Tsukiji Don Takumi" located in the management building of the Toyosu Market 7th block for the first time. This is a shop that moved from the Tsukiji market. They specialize in bowls topped with tuna, sea urchin, and salmon roe. I ordered the "Bara Chirashi" which includes horse mackerel, salmon, and salmon roe. I don't usually eat salmon sashimi, but it was delicious with its fatty texture. As a fan of Bara Chirashi, I was satisfied with the decent portion and reasonable price. It was a satisfying meal from morning. Thank you for the meal!

For breakfast before heading out on a trip, I went to Tsukiji Market. Since I didn't have much time, I didn't want to wait in line at a famous restaurant, so I went to Don Sosho. I ordered the tuna, salmon, and ikura bowl for 1,600 yen. The bowl was on the smaller side, but it was okay since it was breakfast and I wasn't looking for a huge portion. The tuna and salmon were both fatty and delicious. However, it didn't really have that Tsukiji Market vibe. Maybe I chose the wrong toppings, but the freshness, taste, and value didn't really stand out. Some people say it's a good value, but honestly, I'm not so sure. The bara chirashi seems to be popular, so I'd like to give it another try if I have the chance.

I went to "Tsukiji Don Takumi" on the 3rd floor of the management building at Toyosu Market for lunch on a Saturday, for the first time since the market moved from Tsukiji. This restaurant is part of the same group as Iwasaki Sushi and Bentomi, known for their quality seafood selection. I arrived around 12:10 and had to wait in line for about 30 minutes due to the lunchtime rush. The restaurant is popular among young customers and offers reasonably priced seafood bowls. I ordered the Bara Chirashi Bowl for 1,500 yen, which was promptly served with hot tea and miso soup. The bowl was small but filled with scallops, conger eel, crab, salmon roe, tuna, egg, salmon, and yamaimo, all fresh and delicious. The miso soup and tea were also satisfying. Overall, "Tsukiji Don Takumi" is a highly recommended spot for enjoying fresh and tasty seafood bowls in a bright and clean setting.

I ordered a toro and uni donburi for 3800 yen! It was quite expensive, but worth it. I was feeling greedy and wanted to try both toro and uni, so I indulged. The portion size was small, but the toro and uni were delicious. The ikura was very small though. I learned that sushi restaurants specializing in sushi have higher skills and better taste. I want to try other restaurants next time.

Went to Tsukiji to buy seafood, but couldn't buy any. Ended up eating at a restaurant in Toyosu, and it was amazing! The seafood was shining, although the rice portion was small. The balance between the side dishes and rice was off, but the seafood was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

- Tuna bowl ¥2,200 (tax included) - Tuna nakaochi bowl ¥1,150 (tax included) Both come with delicious miso soup. The miso soup was also delicious. The tuna from Tsukiji is undeniably delicious. It melts in your mouth with outstanding freshness. When we entered the restaurant, it was just full. There were about 2 groups waiting. With only a counter seat and about 4 tables, it's best to enter the restaurant early.

I woke up early and headed to this place. I originally planned to go for sushi, but I didn't have much time, so I ended up getting a bowl instead. The restaurant was empty as it had just opened. I sat at the counter and ordered the bara chirashi bowl for 1500 yen. I wanted to try different types of fish, and the other options were around 3000 yen, so this was the best choice for a trial. The bowl arrived after a while, and it looked small due to its height, but it had a good amount of food. It included firefly squid, sea bream, eel, salmon, salmon roe, mackerel, whitebait, boiled scallop, thick omelette dice, cucumber strips, yam dice, chopped green onion, and pickled ginger. The flavors were already well-balanced. Miso soup was also served. I started with the miso soup, which had a comforting broth. Then, I tried the bowl. At first, I could only see about half of the ingredients, but as I ate, I discovered more. The yam dice had a crunchy texture that was very pleasant. The firefly squid was sweet and full of umami, without any fishy smell. The eel was white-grilled and had a fluffy texture that blended well with the other ingredients. The freshness and craftsmanship of the fish were evident, making it a delightful meal. I had a great breakfast. I might try the hearty bowl next time. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went to work in Toyosu. I usually don't eat lunch when I go to work, but since I'm at Toyosu Market, I decided to treat myself. The prices here are like those in tourist spots, with sushi restaurants charging around 4000 yen and tonkatsu restaurants around 2000 yen. I barely had enough money to pay with my small change. If I keep doing this every day, I'll go bankrupt. Bon appétit!

For today's lunch, I went to Tsukiji Don Takumi on the 3rd floor of the management building in Toyosu Market. I live in Toyosu, so I've been trying to eat at all the restaurants in the market recently. Each building in the market has its own restaurants, so it's going to take me some time to try them all. I came here yesterday and even on Sunday, but all the restaurants were closed, which was disappointing. Now, this place is a seafood bowl specialty shop. They offer a wide range of bowls, from a limited 1,000 yen bowl to ones over 4,000 yen. I ordered the bara chirashi bowl for 1,500 yen. As the staff said, "It's seasoned already, so please enjoy as it is." The bowl looked colorful and vibrant with tuna, scallops, simmered conger eel, crab, horse mackerel, bonito, as well as beautifully colored tamagoyaki and pickles. Being in the market, the freshness was outstanding. Every ingredient was delicious, and I finished it in no time. It's simple, but it also comes with miso soup. I felt relaxed looking at the sushi illustration and the cup with Japanese and English words written on it, and left the restaurant feeling satisfied.

I arrived just before 11 o'clock. It was the perfect time as it started to get crowded by the time I finished eating. The hot tea served as soon as I sat down was quite hot. By the time I finished eating, it had cooled down a bit, so it was nice and warm when I arrived and just right to drink when I finished eating. There are options in the 1000 yen range, but since Tsukiji is far and I don't come here often, I thought, "Let's splurge!" I ordered a hearty bowl and a bowl with fatty tuna, sea urchin, and salmon roe. The service was quick (maybe because it wasn't crowded?). I tried some horse mackerel, saury, and sea bream that my companion offered me, and they were different in texture from what I usually eat at the local market...!! The horse mackerel was quite firm. The sea bream and saury had a good texture and were delicious! The salmon roe sparkled just like in the photos, and both bowls were packed with so much topping that I almost ran out of rice! The sea urchin filled my mouth and there was still more left. It was fresh, sweet, and delicious without any unpleasant smell. There are also limited edition bowls available, like the marinated sea bream bowl (which was around 1000 yen), which caught my eye. We were planning to have lunch after visiting teamLab, so we chose a budget-friendly restaurant, but sometimes it's worth splurging. I would definitely come back if this place was closer. Thank you for the meal!

A seafood bowl restaurant that moved from Tsukiji Inner Market in Chuo Ward to Toyosu in Koto Ward. It had been a while since I visited Toyosu, as Tsukiji used to be a place I would casually visit. Without realizing it was a new location, I chose the Special Fresh Tuna Bowl for 1,150 yen (limited quantity) from the menu, and had the Bara Chirashi Bowl for 1,500 yen as Plan B in case it ran out. I was seated at my preferred table, with acrylic dividers providing distance between me and the previous customer. In December 2013, I had the Medium Fatty Tuna Bowl for 800 yen, Medium Fatty Tuna with Spicy Oil Bowl for 900 yen, and Bara Chirashi Bowl for 1,000 yen, but this time I opted for the Medium Fatty Tuna Bowl. The bowl came with pickled radish, green onions, pickled ginger, cucumber, shiso leaves, wasabi, and rice (with less rice than usual), and did not include miso soup (probably just for me). In October 2015, during the countdown to the Tsukiji relocation, I noticed that the Medium Fatty Tuna Bowl had increased to 1,000 yen, and it seemed to have more than just tuna, with plenty of rice, seaweed, and green onions (miso soup was served this time). Despite feeling like there was less rice, the bowl had a generous amount of medium fatty tuna, and although the wasabi seemed cheap, the rice was delicious. It turned out to be more filling than it appeared, and I left satisfied. Payment was cash only, requiring 8 coins, and I spent a total of 12 minutes there before using the alcohol at the entrance and washing my hands in the restroom.

The interior zone is on the opposite side of the road, and it's the first time I've been there. The medium fatty tuna has a slightly thawed texture, with a lack of the full flavor of the tuna. The horse mackerel sashimi has a strong ginger flavor and a straight saltiness. The soy sauce used with the tuna is also quite salty, so I wonder if there could be a miso option instead. The miso soup, which includes small shrimp heads, has a good richness and is delicious. Tuna medium fatty, horse mackerel sashimi rice bowl - ¥1000- Date: Monday, around 10 am Seating: Counter seats Frequency: First visit Location: About 1 minute walk from Toyosu Market Station

The seared bonito and tuna mixed seafood bowl for 1000 yen. The bonito lacks flavor. The supermarket's seared bonito has more umami and tastes better. It's not about the sauce, the fish itself lacks flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and the staff are friendly. It's not necessarily bad, but it's disappointing considering it's a meal at Tsukiji Market. Are the other expensive restaurants for tourists more delicious? Or should we be happy that we can get better-tasting fish at the supermarket than at Tsukiji Market? Ultimately, they are serving the same fish caught in the morning. Perhaps the nearby dining establishments used by market workers are cheap and delicious. Or maybe they are just cutting costs to survive during the state of emergency. If you have the chance to visit the market again, give it a try.

Today, I went for a run in the morning and headed to Tsukiji Market for breakfast from the Washington Hotel Ariake, which took about 15 minutes. I arrived at a nearby restaurant around 8 am and ordered the special bara chirashi for 1500 yen. The portion was smaller than I expected, but it was filled with various ingredients like salmon, ikura, squid, octopus, tamago, kanikama, anago, and what seemed like abalone. The dish was delicious, but the portion of rice was overwhelming, and I struggled to finish it. Overall, it was a tasty meal. I walked back to the hotel afterwards and got ready for work.

- Visit I visited for breakfast after a cycling trip to Toyosu on a holiday morning. - Atmosphere Even in the morning, there is a lively atmosphere with energetic chefs. It's exciting. - Taste I had the Hokkai Sanmai Don and it was delicious. Personally, I recommend the one with crab. It may not be high-end quality, but it's worth the price. - Budget The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious! - Overall If you're in Toyosu, you must try seafood. Here, you can easily enjoy a delicious seafood bowl.

Today I went to this restaurant. I had the bara chirashi donburi for 1500 yen, with a large serving for an additional 100 yen. The toppings included tuna, squid, conger eel, scallop, ikura, and egg. The restaurant is located inside the market, so the expectations were high, but I found the flavors of the toppings to be a bit lacking. The miso soup was a bit on the salty side with green onions, which was tasty. What made me happy was finding a piece of Thai snapper in the dish.

End-of-year shopping and seafood bowl. Today, I went to the Toyosu Market, to the food court on the 3rd floor of the 7th block management building. Unlike the usual crowded days at Tsukiji, I was able to get a seat at the counter right away, so I quickly ordered. The most popular dish, the "Gokai Don" priced at ¥2600, is a bowl with tuna, salmon, sea urchin, and salmon roe, offering a well-balanced and enjoyable mix. The fatty sashimi and the perfectly seasoned rice were delicious and exceeded my expectations for the price. Thank you for the meal!

Seafood bowl restaurant located in Toyosu Market. When I visited early in the morning on a weekday, there were no customers, it was empty. Among the many menu options, I chose the luxurious combination of tuna, salmon, and salmon roe bowl (1600 yen). It comes with miso soup and tea as a set. After waiting a few minutes, the meal was served promptly, and it was amazing. The taste of the fresh fish permeates, and you can enjoy the simple flavor seasoned with soy sauce. However, the amount of rice is quite large for breakfast, so if you go early in the morning, you might want to ask for a smaller portion.
