Akihabara Washington Hotel's breakfast buffet is available not only for guests staying at the hotel. The menu changes daily, but you can enjoy a seafood bowl with choices like tuna, scallops, salmon, and red shrimp, with 2-3 types available for unlimited servings. On this day, they had Fukui salmon, scallops, salmon roe, and red shrimp. In addition, there are about 40 varieties of dishes, including roast beef. There is a designated space for trays in front of each dish, so you don't have to rush around. It was a delightful morning to encounter Fukui salmon and "hamanamiso" from Fukui as a side dish for rice in Akihabara.

From 4/8, the price increased from 1650 yen to 1980 yen. When I visited 6 years ago, it was 1400 yen, so it seems like the price has gone up at least once along the way. I just came to eat without thinking too much about it. The buffet is only open from 6:30 to 10:00 on weekdays, and when I arrived at 8:00, it was lucky because it was not crowded after the first round. Around 9:00, it started to get a bit crowded, entering a second wave of congestion. Nowadays, putting on vinyl gloves at buffets can be time-consuming and reduce the time available for eating. However, at Bonsalute, it was different. With the air compressor's pressure, you can easily put on the gloves by just sliding your hands in smoothly. This is quite revolutionary! A game-changer in the era of COVID-19! I hope other stores will introduce this system as well. Thanks to the quick and easy vinyl glove installation device, I was able to enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet with peace of mind. Among the 20 or so dishes I tried, the fried fish, hashed beef rice, shredded seaweed, and pork miso soup were delicious. Nothing stood out as exceptionally tasty, but everything was consistently good. Sometimes quite delicious. If I had to nitpick, the rice was a bit mushy from being cooked too much in a large pot under pressure. Also, there were not many dessert options. Overall, it was a feast from the morning.

I went to have lunch with my boss this morning at a restaurant I found online the day before. Since we were not staying at the hotel, we paid at the entrance. There was a single seat available in front of the wall, but we needed more table space, so we sat at adjacent single seats. We put a sign on the table saying we were using it and went to get our food. The food was decent overall, with a good variety. I was happy to have hot and soft vegetables in the pot. The staff even brought us some soba noodles. We leisurely enjoyed our meal until it was time for our next appointment. I would like to come back here when I have the chance.

I visited on a weekday around 7 o'clock when the autumn rain front was active. I saw the restaurant while taking a walk before work, checked the website, and then entered. The breakfast buffet costs 2000 yen and includes dishes such as salad with prosciutto, pumpkin salad, pasta salad, bean sprout namul, fresh vegetables, yogurt, the hotel's famous bread and French toast, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, cold pasta, chicken and summer vegetable curry, salted salmon, spicy cod roe, simmered daikon radish, nikujaga (meat and potato stew), winter melon stew, simmered eggplant, grated yam, onsen tamago (hot spring egg), soba noodles, salt-grilled mackerel with pickled mackerel broth, white rice, and more. The highlight was the salt-grilled mackerel with pickled mackerel broth, which was exquisite! The saltiness was just right, and it went down smoothly. It was very delicious. Other dishes like various salads, nikujaga made with beef tendons, and panna cotta were also very tasty. The variety of dishes seems to be worth the price. The bread, French toast, curry, and fruits, which were introduced as the restaurant's specialties on the website, were the best I've ever had. Just the fact that it's in Akihabara makes it very convenient for me, so I think I will visit again!

A hotel located just a 1-minute walk from Akihabara Station with excellent access! I was curious about their breakfast because they have received high ratings on Jalan. It's rare to find a delicious breakfast buffet outside of top-class hotels. The restaurant is bright with natural light, and I was surprised by the high percentage of foreigners. Maybe it's because of the location. The menu includes a variety of Japanese and Western dishes. From pickles, steamed tofu, miso soup, and grated yam in Japanese cuisine to scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, and yogurt in Western cuisine, and even a curry dish called "morning curry" which was really authentic and spicy, not like Japanese curry. It was so delicious that I had seconds. They also offer a wagon service, which was a nice surprise. On this day, I tried the udon from Goto Islands and vinegar juice. The udon had a nice texture and was delicious. They also had homemade French toast at the bread corner, which was moist and fluffy with egg. Everything was so delicious that I got a bit annoyed (in a good way). Most of the items are homemade, with fresh vegetables and delicious homemade dressings. They even provide coffee in take-out cups and immediately refill the rice when it runs out. I was impressed and I plan to go back soon. They change the curry flavor every month, so once you go, you'll be hooked.

The morning buffet at Washington Hotel Akihabara is highly rated. Both the variety of dishes and the taste are satisfying. It's enjoyable that the staff brings special drinks that are not available at the buffet. Since it's a buffet, the menu is not fixed so the review may not be helpful, but on this day, the curry with lots of vegetables and the coconut-flavored roast chicken were particularly delicious.

The 2200 yen morning buffet is popular. It offers a higher quality compared to just a regular business hotel morning buffet.

Morning Buffet at Washington Hotel The morning buffet at Washington Hotel is open to visitors as well. It felt a bit out of place, but I went anyway (lol). As expected, the quality of each dish was high, and I was happy to see French toast on the menu. The price was reasonable, and I felt that the content was worth it. I have more detailed information on my blog here: [link to blog post].

Akihabara Station Central Exit, to the right after passing through the ticket gate, on the 3rd floor of Akihabara Washington Hotel is the Bonsalute Cafe. The name comes from the combination of BON (good in French) and SALUTE (health in Italian). It is located in hotels owned by Fujita Kanko Group, such as in Ginza and Tamachi. The breakfast buffet costs 1,620 yen for adults. Non-staying guests can pay at the hotel front desk before entering. The cafe has many staff members providing excellent service. The variety of dishes is abundant, with both Western and Japanese options. You can start with the Western dishes, served on 9 divided plates. There are about 7-8 types of bread, so I tried the French toast, croissant, and one more. After finishing the first round, I moved on to the second round, trying the Japanese dishes like hijiki rice, tofu, tamagoyaki, and tempura. Feeling quite full, I unfortunately had to skip the curry. For dessert, I had fruits and tiramisu with a cup of cafe latte to relax. The breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 6:45 to 10:00, and on weekends and holidays until 11:00. It might be nice to enjoy a leisurely brunch on holidays.

From this year, the restaurant only serves breakfast. I arrived at the opening time of 6:45 am and purchased a breakfast ticket for 1404 yen on the 3rd floor. The menu had about 20 items, with tempura, marinated tuna, soy milk hot pot, sausages, and grated radish being the most delicious. The Japanese dishes seemed better than the Western ones, but the rice was overcooked and the miso soup was too salty. The atmosphere was quiet, until a group of foreigners came in, making me feel like I was abroad. There were even canned oden in the vending machine on the same floor, which impressed me. I would like to visit again when I wake up hungry in the morning.

A restaurant located inside Akihabara Washington Hotel. They offer a buffet for 1300 yen for 90 minutes during lunch time, and there is also a 1000 yen option for 45 minutes. Although there is nothing particularly special about it, being a buffet in a hotel, the hospitality is quite good. The price includes drinks, so it's a better deal than going to a regular restaurant and ordering tea separately. The food is mostly carb-heavy, which is to be expected. It was nice to see dishes from various countries. The zeppole was well-made and very delicious.

After hearing that the price had been adjusted to 1300 yen for 90 minutes after the tax increase, I thought it was a bit high. (I remember it was cheaper when I visited about two years ago) However, there is a plan for 1000 yen for 45 minutes. Since I come during my company's lunch break, 45 minutes is just right for me. So, I visited during my company's lunch break (around 12 PM on weekdays) and the place was crowded with similar customers. I was seated at the counter as I was alone. The counter was not cramped like a ramen shop and had a view of the outside. The main dish of the day was bone-in fried chicken. Since there were only fried chicken and main dishes, I ended up having fried chicken for both (laughs). I love fried chicken, so I was happy! The fried chicken was large with bones attached and tasted delicious. By the way, you can check the main dish before entering as there is a blackboard outside the hotel entrance. It's nice that there are several side dishes made with vegetables in addition to the salad. Although the variety is not that large, it seems to attract female solo diners. It's also good that the curry is Keema curry. However, when I visited about two years ago, there was a separate "today's pasta" section that was brought to your table, but it was no longer available. Overall, it seems to be a fairly high-level option for a 1000 yen all-you-can-eat restaurant during lunch break.

Visited for the first time for Sunday lunch in December 2013 with 4 men at BONSALUTE in Washington Hotel on the 3rd floor in Akihabara. The name BONSALUTE comes from the French word "bon" meaning good and the Italian word "salute" meaning health. We were surprised that the weekend price was actually 1500 yen, not the advertised 1200 yen. The staff were polite and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food selection was a bit limited but well-balanced. The risotto and Caprese were delicious, while the pork with balsamic vinegar sauce was a bit tough. The pizzas were tasty, especially the Margherita. The curry and minestrone soup were also good. The dessert options included chocolate mousse and pineapple with chocolate fountain. The restaurant was bright and cozy with large windows. The drink options included a drink bar and espresso machine. The staff were efficient in clearing plates and replacing them promptly. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience.

Today's lunch was a quick dash to the buffet! I didn't have much time, so I piled my plate high with freshly made pasta. It was so delicious! The buffet had a variety of options, but the pasta was the standout for me. Isn't that an important point? The pizza was also nice and chewy, and they had free olive oil to drizzle on top. It was great! I wish I had more time to try everything (laughs). The minestrone soup was comforting and I made sure to get my veggies in. And my favorite, panna cotta! So tasty! The fact that I could take my coffee to go was a nice touch. They even provided takeout cups. I wish I could have savored it all slowly. 45 minutes for lunch is too short!

I love buffets, so I enjoy all-you-can-eat options on weekends. This time, I went to a cafe in Akihabara located inside the Washington Hotel, where they offer a buffet for lunch. I arrived right when they opened, so I had to wait a bit after being seated. However, the service of seating us was top-notch, as expected from a hotel! We received a glass of wine each with a coupon, and then headed to the much-anticipated buffet! As mentioned in other reviews, the variety may not be extensive, but there are no disappointments! The pizza and pasta were served hot and fresh, and the turnover was good! The salads were not just plain leaves, but authentic and unique options that you can't find elsewhere. The coffee was available in both pre-heated pots and from a machine, and the desserts, although not numerous, were all delicious!! I went on a date last time and had a great time, so today I decided to go back with my family! The price discrepancy between the website, the hotel's sign outside, the elevator ad, and the menu display is a bit confusing, so I'll double-check the cost and update it later.

Lunch Buffet at Bonsalute Cafe on 2013.07.03 Wednesday 20:14 I left work early for some errands and decided to finally visit the Bonsalute Cafe at Akihabara Washington Hotel. The weekday lunch buffet was only 1000 yen, which was a great deal. I was looking forward to the pasta. I arrived a little before 1 PM and was told it was full. I had to wait on the sofa by the entrance and was finally seated around 1 PM, at a table by the window counter. The view from the 3rd floor was not bad. I resisted the urge to indulge in the affordable lunch and drinks. The food corner was sectioned off with salads and side dishes on one side, cold drinks and pasta on the center, and pizza, bread, and desserts in the middle. Hot drinks were by the window. The pasta selection was limited but constantly restocked. There were rice, miso soup, curry, and more in the back. I started with a lot of vegetables and a variety of dressings. I tried the minestrone soup and some bread, pizza, and zeppole. Mixing all three dressings turned out to be surprisingly delicious. I resisted the fried foods. I tried the recommended cold pasta with panah shellfish and avocado, but the avocado taste was a bit disappointing. I went for a second round of pizza, potato salad, and some side dishes, including risotto and curry. The curry tasted like the typical store-bought kind. For dessert, I had tiramisu, coffee jelly, and cappuccino. I wanted more tiramisu, but it was already gone, replaced by panna cotta with berry sauce. The panna cotta was smooth and light, with big fruit chunks in the sauce. Next time, I'll visit with friends to enjoy the experience more. Dining alone, I tend to eat quickly. Thanks for the meal! ♪

We met up with a friend in Akihabara in the evening and decided to go to this cafe where we could talk leisurely. It's located on the 3rd floor of the Washington Hotel, just 1-2 minutes from Akihabara Station, so it's convenient. Since it was in the evening, the cafe was quite quiet with a few business people and couples. I ordered a cafe latte for 580 yen, which was delicious. It was a relaxing atmosphere, so we ended up spending quite a bit of time there. Next time, I'd like to visit for lunch.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a regular day by myself. The location is very convenient, right in front of Akihabara Station. I arrived right after the opening at 11:30, so there were plenty of seats available, but by 12:00, it was almost full. They serve freshly made pasta at your table (with refills possible). There was a young man sitting next to me (probably a college student) who got confused when his pasta arrived on the tray while he was away getting his food. He thought someone had taken his seat by mistake and looked flustered until he asked the staff and understood the situation. The prices are reasonable and there are no particularly eye-catching dishes, but personally, I really enjoyed the "herb-flavored fried chicken," "curry," and "pickles," and ended up going back multiple times. I usually don't eat fried chicken or curry even when they are available at a buffet, but I really liked the crispy fried chicken with a crunchy skin.

I came to the lunch buffet at "Bon Salut Cafe" located on the 3rd floor of Akihabara Washington Hotel, right next to JR Akihabara Station. Lunch hours are from 11:30 to 14:30, priced at 1000 yen on weekdays and 1200 yen on weekends, with a 90-minute time limit. I arrived at 11:35 on a weekend and there were already 2 groups of customers. By noon, the place was fully packed. I came with one more person, and we were seated at a spacious table for four, allowing us to relax comfortably. The space where the food is displayed is not very large, but there was no line forming and we could take our time choosing. The salad selection included seaweed salad, potato salad with roast beef, pumpkin salad, but no tomatoes or corn. There were three types of dressings available. For the main dishes, the recommended dish was venison hamburger with melted cheese, cream pasta, tomato pizza, and chicken stew, among others. The soup options were pork miso soup with plenty of ingredients and a minestrone soup also loaded with ingredients, both served piping hot to warm you up. The rice options were grated yam rice and curry rice with Fukujinzuke and pickled radish. The curry had a slightly fruity taste, which was not to my liking. The grated yam had a flavorful dashi seasoning that made the rice very enjoyable. There were two types of bread available with olive oil. For dessert, there was only one item that day, panna cotta, along with a chocolate fountain available on weekends with marshmallows and pineapple on skewers. The drink selection included cold options like oolong tea, orange juice, iced coffee, honey vinegar drink, and hot options like coffee with espresso, American, cappuccino, and fresh milk. There was no carbonated drink available. The variety of dishes may be on the smaller side, but each dish was carefully selected with an emphasis on quality and taste. The freshly made pasta brought to your table was delicious, and you could ask for seconds. I ate too much and felt very full. Thank you for the meal.

My colleague and I arrived right at 11:30, just in time for the buffet to start. We were able to be seated in the lobby until it was time to go inside. The buffet started promptly at 11:30, and by noon, it was already quite crowded (with about 2 reserved tables). The weekday buffet cost 1,000 yen, and based on the reviews I read, I was prepared for a wide variety of dishes, which was great. Today's main dish seemed to be pork cutlets, and I enjoyed the curry, pasta (served at the table, not in the buffet line), and chocolate pudding. They also had potato salad, pizza (only one type), and a drink bar. Considering the service and variety of dishes, I was very satisfied. Adding a drink bar to a regular family restaurant meal would cost around 900 yen, so I don't think I'll be going to the nearby family restaurant for lunch anymore.
